The director of “Julius Caesar” is now getting death threats at his home:
NY POST – The director of the controversial production of “Julius Caesar” in Central Park has received death threats at his Brooklyn home, his wife told cops.
“I want to grab you by the p—y,” the caller says in one of several messages left on Oskar Eustis’ and Laurie Eustis’ landline. “You’re husband wants Trump to die. I want him to die.”
Eustis is the artistic director of the Public Theater and has been directing Shakespeare in the Park’s production of the classic, which has drawn fire for depicting Caesar as President Trump.
Eustis told cops that the caller left several messages, using her daughter’s name and the family’s address.
I hate death threats, but that first comment by the caller made me LOL. I know it shouldn’t, but it did.
