Immigration reform is ‘ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE’ – John Boehner deflects on why they didn’t just pass a bill

On “Face the Nation,” Speaker John Boehner talked about sanctuary cities, saying they are wrong and they should follow federal law. When pressed that they only did that because there hasn’t been any comprehensive immigration reform, he said it was nearly impossible.

Watch below:

The most annoying part of the interview is when he’s asked why the Republicans didn’t just pass a damn bill and have Obama veto it? Boehner ignores the question. But it’s exactly that point right there that is fueling Trump’s campaign. People can tell that the Republicans really don’t want to shut down illegal immigration. They could have sent bill after bill to Obama to veto, and they could have now claimed the moral and legislative high ground. So why did they?

The obvious answer is that they don’t really want to deal with the issue, and they want to keep supplying their big business interests with cheap illegal labor while driving down the wages of the common American worker.

And THAT is why people are flocking to Donald Trump.
