NOW…. OK. This looks bad for ol’ Steve-o, it really does. I’m not sure exactly what he’s saying, but it can definitely be taken in a racist way, and that’s what the left is doing.
BUT, it really can just be taken to mean that there are too many people who are immigrants and don’t assimilate for whatever reason. Certainly, Islamists don’t assimilate because they’re hostile to our society. And then there are people who are just from another culture and don’t assimilate easily. Is it really “racist” to think that this might be a problem? Well… it might be if you’re OK with poor socialist whites from Europe and not OK with poor brown people from anywhere else. That’s not what King is saying here… most likely.
