This is the threat that Bolton said Israel should have never taken off the table. Looks like they are making good on it anyway:

NBC NEWS – Israel will withhold tax revenues from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ administration until March at least in response to his statehood campaign at the United Nations, Israel’s foreign minister said.

Under interim peace deals, Israel collects some $100 million a month in duties on behalf of the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank — money that is badly needed to pay public sector salaries.

“The Palestinians can forget about getting even one cent in the coming four months, and in four months’ time we will decide how to proceed,” Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in a speech Tuesday night.

Israel says Abbas violated previous peace accords by sidestepping stalled negotiations and securing a Palestinian status upgrade in the United Nations last month.

  • Rocco11

Imam Barack will make up the shortfall…

  • badbadlibs

Now if we could get this country to withhold our tax dollars going to the UN. And kick them out of America .

    • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

      Agreed.

Your move. Still want peace, Abbas?
    Bibi 2013

    • MiketheMarine

I think they should get a piece of an high explosive loaded missile right in the back side, you know, where they keep their brains.

  • las1

After all… it’s only a very small price to pay… a very small levy against the Fakestinians to contribute toward Israel’s military preparedness, toward Israel’s security costs, toward Israel’s existential struggle against Muslim and international Jew hatred.

It’s a bargain. I just don’t understand why they can’t see that! [sarc. now off]

Don’t worry……This admin has an endless supply of money to give away.

  • MiketheMarine

Fukc the hajji’s. Let them learn to EARN their own money. Same with our ghetto rats, Fukc them too.

  • colliemum

Well done, Israel! Actions (like elections) have consequences, and Abbas and his ilk have been allowed to play the recalcitrant child for too long. Then again, it’s no surprise the left support them: they support all whom they perceive as ‘victims’.

Some of the comments on the site scoop linked to are the typical, sickening anti-Israel rubbish the left has been propagating for years.

One wonders if these lefties think their electricity will run forever even if they don’t pay for it … yeah, they probably think the POS Fairie is paying for all that …

    • Nukeman60

I actually have a relative who thinks electricity should be free – because we need it. That mentality is hard to break. No wonder so many follow Obama without any thought process at all.

      • colliemum

Yep – it’s on the same level as that of the leftie-greenies, or watermelons, who want electric cars only. Because electricity comes out of the wall, simples …

The way our societies degenerate into unthinking mob rule is frightening. I never thought I’d see this, not when there are so many sources, films, books and videos now, to show what happened in the SU and in Germany – and how it ended.

        • Nukeman60

I don’t really want our country to collapse, but there is a part of me that seems to long for it. These people could never survive and then we could just start all over again with those that know how to survive (clinging to our guns, our Bibles, and our self-reliance).

          • colliemum

Not to forget the spades and pitchforks and axes: useful multi-purpose implements for survival.

Strange, isn’t it, that the collapse of our countries doesn’t seem to be such a far-fetched, tinfoil-hat thing any more but is looming ever starker on the horizon.

            • Nukeman60

Yes, that’s very sad to comprehend. But at least we aren’t staring at Unicorns, waiting for our handouts, like so many of them are doing.

        • Orangeone

Love those little Prius’ and enjoyed watching them spin into oblivion in the 16″ of snow we got. I waved as I drove by them in my SUV, struggling to even get moving :)

          • colliemum

            I can imagine!
There are situations where such joy is indeed permitted!

(16 inches of snow? My oh my, and people survive? Here everything still breaks down when there are more than two inches, even after the harsh winters a couple of years ago.)

            • Orangeone

16″ in less than 24 hours, sometimes at 2″/hr.  If it’s going to snow, love to get a lot of it!

              • colliemum

Well, 16″ ain’t so bad, if one’s used to it!

We aren’t, no way – but did get that two years ago.
Wading through it is hard work, and the housewolf had enough after a hundred yards: fluffy snow is for rolling in, but definitely not for coming up over one’s tummy!
Small dogs didn’t even make it to the park – they’d have had to tunnel …

                • Orangeone

:)  Die hard dog owners plow pathways in the yard for the furry ones to go potty…..I have felines now so they watch the snow fall from the window ledges and are thankful for indoor litter boxes :)  I do miss my Shelties running through the snow though, buring their noses along the trail and coming up with a face full of flakes…

                • colliemum

Aww – I do love those die-hard dog owners!
And I can well imagine your Shelties with their faces covered in fluffy snow: all housewolves love snow, they adore rolling in it, and they actually eat it! It’s five runs -roll – five runs – scoop up some snow – roll – run – endless fun and games.
Mind – Cats are indeed more restful.

                • Orangeone

What a great vision to start my day, thanks colliemum

  • Nukeman60

Wake up, President Obama. This is how it’s done. Now see if you can curtail the massive amounts of money that goes to terrorists, terrorist supporters, the UN, and anybody who doesn’t support the US.

Seems pretty simple to me. If my neighbor kicks me in the knee, I don’t loan him that C-note he wanted. Duh!

    • Orangeone

The only problem is that Barky Boy sees business owners and Constitution-loving Americans as the terrorists. He is trying to take everything from us to redistribute to his followers.

  • mikeinidaho

    Good for Israel!
Now let’s see if they just say “forget 4 months, we’ll keep our money forever. If you don’t like it, MOVE!”

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

I’m stunned the Israelis are giving them anything. After what they have been through with Hamas and the Gaza strip, I wouldn’t give the Palestinians the time of day, let alone all that money. To me all these people are the same and the Israelis should treat them as such.

  • Watchman74

“Under interim peace deals, Israel collects some $100 million a month in duties on behalf of the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank — money that is badly needed to pay public sector salaries.”

So tired of it being called occupied territory, it’s disputed territory not occupied! And anyone who says otherwise sides with the terrorists.

  • Orangeone

Israel should use the money to expand their missile defense program!

    • http://www.facebook.com/jaspersilvis Jasper Silvis

      And more housing around Jerusalem.

  • 12grace

    Pray for Israel.

  • Sober_Thinking

You go Israel! Nice to see that someone in this world has some backbone and are true to their word.

  • http://www.facebook.com/tom.stedham Tom Stedham

So, it’s not enough that foreigners from Europe (Poland, Russia, Brooklyn, etc) steal huge amounts of land from the Palestinians… Now they steal their money, too?
    Typical.

  • samUwell

freaking Zionist sum. what a joke… money involved and the Jews keep it.

hopefully we will follow suit and stop giving the Fascist Zionist state billions every year.

its not surprising to see all the freaking neo-cons on here rooting for fascist. just because we have a common enemy does not make Israel our friends. but, neo-cons are too stupid to understand and i except the “Hitler” remark any minute.

  • TLaMana

It’s not their money, give it to them.

See, this is what I am saying about how Israel antagonizes the situation when it isn’t productive or necessary.
