Issa calling Jay Carney the “administration’s paid liar” apparently struck a nerve with David Plouffe

Today Issa referred to Jay Carney as the administration’s paid liar when talking about the IRS scandal:

From a recent report we’ve posted, it does appear it came out of Washington and I’m betting Issa is holding some cards that he isn’t showing right now. This could get interesting.

Meanwhile, former White House Senior Advisor David Plouffe apparently didn’t care much for Issa’s characterization of Carney and hit back with childish insults:

This is what we’ve come to expect from the people who’ve served in this White House. Immaturity and lies.
