Donald Trump has apparently so gotten in the head of Rick Perry, that Perry has now published a video response directly to Trump on illegal immigration and the border in Texas, explaining what he’s done to protect the border when Obama wouldn’t do it because of illegal immigration:
I know this video isn’t really meant for Trump, but rather the Republican base and perhaps Latinos. But still, it seems a bit desperate that Perry felt the need to do this, to respond directly to a candidate like this in a Republican Primary where there are tons of candidates vying for the nomination.
Or perhaps Perry is smart, realizing that Trump is sucking up a ton of oxygen and is using that to foist himself into the mix to get attention.
Either way, with his comments on Hannity last night mischaracterizing Trump, this video doesn’t do too much for me.
