James Taylor gushes over Obama, says we need to sacrifice some of our freedoms for gun control

Nicholas Ballasy with the Daily Caller caught up with Singer/Songwriter James Taylor yesterday at the inauguration and asked him his thoughts on Obama, his continuation of Bush policies, and gun control. And as you can tell by my title, Taylor is absolutely in love with the Obama presidency and doesn’t dare criticize him. At one point he even said:

I just think we need more like him — not that there’s anyone else like him — but I think it’s great that we have him in government. We are very fortunate to have Barack Obama as our leader.”

Talk about deification.

Regarding gun control he told the Daily Caller:

but I think the majority of us feel strongly — even the majority of gun owners feel strongly — that we need to make some sacrifice[s] to our freedoms, if that’s the way to put it. We need to make some sacrifices to what we might want to have, in order to safeguard our children.”

Ugh.
