Jason Riley was fantastic today on Special Report discussing Ferguson and the intertwined race issues.
For instance he criticized Obama for blaming the high black crime rate on poverty and a racial criminal justice system. Riley pointed out that in 1960 the black crime rate was lower than it is today but the same can’t be said for both poverty and racism.
He also busted the race hustlers like Sharpton and Dyson who suggest that young black men live in fear of being shot by cops. But Riley says that cops aren’t producing all these black bodies in the morgue. It’s blacks shooting blacks that account for this which makes their whole argument ludicrous.
It gets even better when he tussles with Kirsten Powers over the ‘militarization’ of the police.
