Jeff Sessions, noting his dealings with comprehensive immigration reform in recent history, warns of what is to come from a potential amnesty bill:

Here’s where I stand on Rubio’s immigration proposal. I’m ok with what he explained it earlier today, noting the border must be secured or there is no deal. But I have no expectation any of this can/will be done in the next four years. I just don’t trust Obama nor any of the Democrats. They will sell Rubio out, fake border protection, and make sure every illegal becomes a citizen. Obama simply can’t be trusted.

I appreciate the fact that Rubio wants to fix it and I think he’s earnest and sincere. He’s not a RINO like some of you suggest. He really wants to solve a problem that plagues our country. But signing any bill with the Democrats on immigration reform would be the worst thing he could do because their motives are ALWAYS bad. They want open borders because, just as Levin pointed out tonight, they get most of the votes from Latinos. And that’s all they care about, votes.

There’s no way we can actually get immigration reform until we kick Obama and the Democrats out of office. Just that simple. And my guess is it won’t take too long for Rubio to get to that point.

202-224-3121 is the main switch board to Congress. I will be calling tomorrow and asking for his office and I will THANK him very much.

Then I will tell them that what they do right now is NO to amnesty (Rubio’s plan) and that they MUST overturn Obama’s illegal executive amnesty order. He does not have the Constitutional authority to do that.

We must hold our ground right now, even if we can’t deport right now with the illegal in the WH…at least we don’t give 20 million invaders legal status…they can then legally send for family members…even if the border was sealed tighter than a drum.

        • Orangeone

Please also contact Rep Steve Stockman in TX, he takes calls from the US (not just his district) and is sooo appreciative of the support. 202-225-1555

Here’s his awesome stmt from his website (pssst ABinC and kssturgis62, Laurel, he makes a special stmt affecting the 3 of you!) http://stockman.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/stockman-opposes-senate-immigration-plan

Exactly so and that’s why they want it done just so they can say they’ve done something other than play cards in the clubroom.

Seriously, would a surprise meteor hit in DC really be that bad?

Here is Rep Steve Stockman’s (TX) position! http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-congress/2013/01/stockman-unhappy-with-immigration-plan-155454.html#.UQdDw8qnlck.twitter

He has already introduced legislation with Rand Paul re: 2nd Amendment and has said he will pursue impeachment.

  • keyesforpres

Scoop, Rubio’s plan doesn’t fix anything. You don’t reward lawbreaking. You get more of it.

What Republicans should be screaming is, “No amnesty!” and “No to your illegal executive order!” We are overturning it!

Giving illegals legal status is amnesty.

    • Orangeone

I’d like a refund of the fed taxes I’ve paid for the last 35 years please. And I’ll take it in gold!

Just give me back the portion of my taxes that went to welfare programs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also in Gold or Silver. But for my portion the government will have to go back 45 years unless I count my teenage years.

        • Orangeone

You are much kinder than I, I want it all back :) Might you consider wanting the portions paid to arrest, try and incarcerate the illegals for those actually prosecuted? 25% of the inmates are illegals

        • Orangeone

  • FreeManWalking

FAILURE to secure the boarders before passing comprehensive immigration reform will be as effective at stopping illegal aliens entering the country as Gun Free Zones are at preventing mass murder.

    • keyesforpres

…and giving amnesty after securing the borders (that is what “comrehensive immigration reform REALLY is..) won’t do anything….all those illegals given new legal status can then legally send for family members.

Don’t you people get it that keep saying, “Secure the borders than let the illegals stay”? Legal status means they can send for untold amounts of “family members”. 20 million illegals could quickly become 50 to 100 million.

      • Orangeone

        You are great at math!

Since the 1986 Reagan amnesty, we have a 566% increase in illegal aliens that now want amnesty in 28 years. In another 28 years at the same rate of growth, 113.2 million more illegal aliens.

      • Patriot077

Any reform needs to start with securing the border and ENDING chain migration. What Citizen of the US can arbitrarily import his/her relatives from ANY country? Answer: NONE. So why is it that amnestied illegals can do so?

        • keyesforpres

Because we let them. Yes, chain migration MUST be ended, but at this point it is not…all the more reason to NOT give millions of illegals legal status.

      • colliemum

        Spot on! Well said!

That’s how the muslim immigrants from the darkest villages of Pakistan and Bangladesh are coming in seemingly unstoppable waves – because they bring not just their immediate families – they bring the extended ones through marriages to ‘cousins’, who then bring their families, on and on and on.

And of course the left is only too happy to support that on’humanitarian’ grounds: more families, more leftie voters.

Btw – since when should law breakers be rewarded for their law breaking?

        • keyesforpres

NEVER. That’s when law breakers should be rewarded.

  • Orangeone

The only compassion should be for the people that are legal (born here, legally naturalized) and pay the taxes in this country. We are the natural born and naturalized.

    • keyesforpres

We should also have compassion for the 25 Americans killed everyday at the hands of illegals and their families…I have met several that lost a loved one to an illegal…one lost her only child at the hand of a border hopping savage.

We had three women brutally raped and murdered by illegals about 5 years ago in our town. They slit the womens’ throats (that’s their favorite way to murder). One poor woman was raped again after they slit her throat and she was gasping for air.

      • Orangeone

Absolutely!  But they get a free pass to rape and murder just like the moooslime in the UK.
Here’s one from MN, will cost us $1 million to keep her in prison for killing 4 children (2 were in one family) http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,331989,00.html

        • keyesforpres

I remember that one. I believe two of the kids were siblings. Nothing worse than losing a child, but two? And losing your child(ren) at the hands of someone that wasn’t even supposed to be here makes it even worse.

The woman I befriended that lost her only child knows the added sickening grief of losing your child at the hand of an illegal. His name was Jesus to boot! She said she almost fell to the floor in court when she heard the illegal that killed her childe was named Jesus!

          • Orangeone

Horrible.  Yes there were two brothers. And this b!tch had been stopped before and it was known she was an illegal and driving without a driver’s license.  If law enforcement has forced the deportation, these 4 children would be alive today.

            • keyesforpres

              Precisely.

Many cops let them go because “they can’t catch them all”…. and I say , “Yeah, so? You got this one ..deport him/her.” It’s not like they let an American go that is driving without a license because “they can’t catch them all”.

              • Orangeone

True again.  And MN law enforcement is targeting white women for traffic violations because that demographic tends to pay their traffic fines at a significantly higher rate than others.  It’s all about revenue.

                • keyesforpres

                  Sickening.
Of course, many hispanics ARE white. The original “hispanics” were those white folks from Spain, but they aren’t going after them.

      • c4pfan

Exactly! No one gives a rip about them.

the fact is … they broke the law coming across the boarder illegaly … and have been here for years makes them a criminal…. im just wondering if this has everything to do with 3 obama’s illegally here…

    • keyesforpres

Hey, Obama is illegal too. He’s a citizen of Indonesia.

      • davienne

you are right … and his uncle was supposed to be deported after his DUI, and obo threw a monkey wrench into the works… his aunt has been sucking off the government for 30 years, was told to leave the country, and never did but kept collecting foodstamps and welfare… the 1/2 brother .. i havent heard anything about him …

      • Orangeone

Bingo! And his eligibility hearing behind closed doors is 2/15. I think you might have hit on why this is such a rush! Backdated amnesty

        • keyesforpres

He still wouldn’t be eligible…even if he’s amnestied in. He says O Sr. is his dada, well that means he does NOT have natural born status…although I think the communist, Frank Marshall Davis (his “mentor”) is his real father and I think he grew up knowing that was his real father and Bill Ayers and O concocted the O Sr. thing because it sounded romantic and they knew it wouldn’t look good if we knew Frank was his dada.

Of course, they were too stupid to realize that would mean O didn’t have natural born status if O Sr. was his daddy.

          • Orangeone

He’ll insert a little provision that makes the amnesty recipients land in “natural born” category, just watch.
I agree, I think Davis is daddy too!

            • keyesforpres

Natural born has to do with natural law. You only get it if your parents are US citizens at the time of your birth. Of course, if you become a citizen of another country (Like O) you are forever ineligible to be pres.

              • Orangeone

You and I know that but remember Barky Boy creates his own laws and no one stops him. He ignores court order after court order and yet no impeachment. If he owns the SCOTUS, they will uphold his self-designation.

  • sDee

I have yet to hear precisely what problem it is we have that needs “immigration reform”, which cannot be solved by enforcing the existing laws. “Reform” is a tip-off phrase for Progressives, Communists and Marxists. We have to stop using the language of the left

Reform: To take an greatly exaggerated problem or created crisis and use it to pass new legislation which extracts taxpayers’ money, erodes their rights and increases the size of the Federal government

There is a reason all these “reform” proposals always boil down to Amensty. Amnesty for violators of immigration law, is the only immigration option they’ve left that we do not already have laws or policies on the books for.

    – Require a legal immigration document for all non-citizens.
    – Locate and provide a hearing for anyone who overstays those documents.
    – Deny all rights, privileges and entitlements of Citizenship to non-citizens.
    – Secure the borders and ensure those who get through without legal papers are deported immediately.

    • keyesforpres

…and don’t just take them to the border. Do like Eisenhower did under “Operation Wetback”…he put a thousand illegals on a steamer daily and they were dropped off 500 miles south of the border. He did this for three months and most of the 3 million or so that were here illegally left on their own….proving that aggressive deportations DOES work…it’s gets many out by deporting and it’s gets most of the rest of them out on their own.

      • Orangeone

Last time, under Reagan, we signed an Amnesty Bill with the requirement that the Border become secured. It never happened…and now, we’re planning on doing it AGAIN?!? With the SAME requirements, and with the SAME people?!? WHAT?!?

    • keyesforpres

…and with a foreign dictator in the WH who is hellbent on destroying America and killing off white America.

Remember, he did say right before the election that the future workers of America WILL be blacks and hispanics…. no mention of whitey.

Whitey’s don’t much like bein’ slaves now do they? We’ll just take away their guns.

or enslave us by debt, regulation, healthcare, taxes, restrined movement and intimidation

      • Orangeone

And let’s remember, he wants to make it easier for these same illegals to buy guns! Civilian brown shirts to fire upon Americans?????

        • keyesforpres

That’s right. He wants legal immigrants to have guns, but NOT US citizens.

Good grief, how can Republicans be so dumb to support this amnesty and RUBE is leading the charge.

          • Orangeone

Because Rubio is a Democrat dressed in Repub clothing.  He is going for his race before America.

        • Orangeone

My response is to Stop the Magnet, not keyesforpres

    • keyesforpres

I see you support e-verify. Sadly, that is a joke. It just encourages illegals to buy stolen soc. Sec. numbers and it gets the employers off the hook. They know they are hiring illegals, but hey, they passed e-verify. Wink. Wink.

      • Orangeone

Actually employers are being held responsible if the illegals have stolen ID or are using a relatives ID, gov’t issues the penalities, seizes documents and you have to sue to get your business cleared. They place the burden on the employer saying we should have known.

        • keyesforpres

          Well, that is good news.

          • Orangeone

How is it good news that the employer is punished when the illegal commits the crime? How is the employer supposed to know?

            • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

Because most employers that hire illegals KNOW they are doing so. The point was to make it VERY BAD to actively seek illegals for employment.

              • Orangeone

I’m first in line to go after employers that knowingly hire illegals. My point above is that the illegals are stealing and using others’ SSNs and identities yet the employer is punished. e-Verify is so very limited. The latest scam is sharing identities. e-Verify does not tell the employer the candidate/employee has 15 jobs in 13 states. We employers need to know that and we also need to have a mechanism to safely report good faith concerns of this happening. Today, we don’t, if we try the EEOC threatens to shut the company down.

                • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

I thought E-Verify also linked up to W-2s…Hell, when I run my Credit Check even IT tells all the places I’ve worked. So sharing a SSN will most likely show up on E-Verify as someone working in 13 states, and they can CLEARLY tell what’s REALLY going on.

                • Orangeone

If it does, the employer is not availed to that information. Here’s the other one, new hire reporting for child support. Both of these only partial match on first few characters of last name and first few of first name. Again, employer is only told if SSN matches, not that there are child support orders in any specific state. Again, the employer must withhold but if they don’t have the court order, they don’t know. Employers only find out if the employee willingly discloses and once the quarterly wage match is done by the gov’t agencies.

I tried for years to get this fixed and a national database for federal welfare payments.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

However, e-verify turned a gush into a drip. Rather than ALL illegals being able to gain employment, e-verify made it so only those that tried to steal an identy, and of those only the ones that did so SUCCESSFULLY, would gain employment. It’s better than nothing, but still isn’t the “answer”.

        • keyesforpres

They ALL over our complex doing construction work. They passed e-verify afterall. I reported them to the authorities, but they said, “All they have to do is pass e-verify”.

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1396855720 Brian Jones

            Again…it’s better than NOTHING…

  • PatrickHenrysBody

I’m glad somebody in Congress is doing something in regards to putting the brakes on any kind of pushing or more like “ramming” of amnesty legislation through. The leftists in Congress will try to pass their amnesty crapola if it means bending over for groups like La Raza (a very bigoted, racist group), making shady back-room deals, and trying to force legislation (unread, of course) through in the dead of night while Americans against amnesty for illegal immigrants are sleeping. I wouldn’t put it past Zero to once again violate our Constitution and institute more Executive Orders.

  • PVG

Fool me once, shame on you……………

  • Tim

    Sessions rocks! ‘Nuff said.
TRS, yeah Obama wants amnesty and open borders for votes, but will Rube-io or anointed Jeb who won’t shut up about his love for open borders be any better on amnesty? Either they’re deluded into thinking it gets them votes or something, but it won’t.

  • warpmine

Suggestion to the GOP RINO Senate: Lynchpin it to a certified budget and cuts in debt otherwise, may as well just leave it all up to Comrade President Obamakov and his all knowing executive powers.

  • tinlizzieowner

It’s going to go down just like it did under Reagan. All of the ‘amnesty’ provisions will be immediately put in place, and none of the border security provisions will.
There was ‘supposed’ to be a fence built along our entire southern border decades ago and I’m not talking about some kind of ‘virtual fence’, I mean a real one. Try sneaking across Mexico’s southern border (or the border of most other countries), and watch what happens to you.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZSKETECBAFDEAUOUML4ICTKLAA Alex

Their excuses that they’re making a ‘virtual fence’ are on their face laughable and ridiculous.
Now excuse me while I hop into my invisible jet. Hey! I really do have one, no kidding.

      • tinlizzieowner

Exactly. I don’t know what Verizon keeps sending be a bill for? I have a ‘virtual’ computer and TV. ;-) ;-)

  • Army_Pilot1967

Personally I don’t think our government is going to do anything positive to correct the huge immigration problem we have! The Dims only see the illegals as voters for them, they don’t care one whit about the problems the illegals are causing. We’re in a dire situation and all the politicians are doing is talking and talking about what we “should” do, but no one is actually doing anything to correct this problem. Endless chatter isn’t going to fix ths problem!

    • sDee

It is all a political game. A game they all think has risen to such a complex level yet everything is crumbling around them as they play.

Is Rubio simply posturing his creds amongst “hispanics” to run as Bush3 in 2016?

Is Obama letting the elephants float a bill only to come along with a “serious one when it fails?”

Are they all just posturing for the next election willing to give away even more of our nation to migrants and illegals?

We have imported 12 million people who despise our country and our laws. When given citizenship they will vote for more of the same and bring in more illegals like themselves.

1986 Amnesty was granted to 1.7 million illegals. Noe we want to give Amnesty to 12 million illegals. Roughly that means each illegal-turned-citizen from Reagan’s Amestry, resulted in 7 more illegals in our country. Do the math for the next round!

I just do not care any more about these elitists who play their games financed on our debt. They absolute and intentionally are not enforcing our existing laws. None of them will admit this yet IT IS THE PROBLEM. They do not care that is destroying our sovereignty, our security and our economy. All they care about is the next election.

Democrats beg Obama: Please don’t offer your own immigration bill
      http://hotair.com/archives/2013/01/28/democrats-beg-obama-please-dont-offer-your-own-immigration-bill/

  • Sandra123456

Why make any more laws? Enforce the laws we have. Do another “Operation Wetback” like Eisenhower did.

We have enough laws. Republicans should not make any more new laws for the next 4 years.

    • sDee

They should be required to remove 2 pages of laws for every page of new law they pass.

  • TerryinFL

Our unrepresentative representatives in Congress continually prey upon the good nature of we Americans and that needs to stop. Much like the wrangling about gun control (AKA stopping gun violence) has nothing to do with saving the children and or curbing gun violence. Same with fixing our “broken” immigration system has nothing to do with uniting families, improving our economy, and bring these poor folks out of the shadows. It’s about control of our system by tyrannical forces – or a power struggle between we the people and the power elite! Say NO to both issues……..often!!

As for Sen. Rubio, while he occupied one of the top seats in the Florida Legislature he tabled every piece of legislation regarding any effort to control the our illegal alien issue. Also, when he announced he was running for the US Senate, I contacted him requesting whether he would, as Senator, represent all Floridians or favor Hispanics. Never got an answer……until now! When I think Rubio, I think RINO much like Sen. Martinez.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZSKETECBAFDEAUOUML4ICTKLAA Alex

I don’t know if he’s doing it because of a racial bias or because of the truth he’s an establishment ruling class elite darling dutifully groomed by the Bush family. I regard him like the other RINO Senators pushing amnesty, like McCain and Graham, he’s McCain 2.0. Their tactics make me cringe.

      • keyesforpres

Isn’t it something that Rube thinks he’s a different race because he has a Spanish surname? He’s WHITE!

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

Amnesty will NOT get the Republicans any more hispanic votes. None. If it didn’t work for Reagan, it certainly will not work for us in 2016. Hispanics will sell their votes like any other spcial-interest group, to the highest bidder. All the Democrats have to do is keep promising them more and more “free stuff,” in the form of benefits, entitlements, welfare, Obamacare, or government paychecks, and they will always get a comfortable majority of the hispanic vote. Like Rush Limbaugh said after the election, it’s hard to beat Santa Claus.

  • c4pfan

    War Eagle, Jeff.

  • http://onthemark1.blogspot.com/ On The Mark

They will sell Rubio out, fake border protection, and make sure every illegal becomes a citizen.

They will certainly try, and I deeply appreciate Sessions’s warning, especially because all the laws in the world are worthless without enforcement. But, could it be Rubio is being very shrewd? It’s too early to tell yet, but as I listen to him speak warily and precisely on the issue, I wonder if he has in mind to leverage the appearance of compassion into a establishing a more secure border without handing out citizenship to any- and everybody.

Its amnesty. Sorry, that’s just the truth. They say that the amnesty wont happen without the border being secure. Bull. While they’re supposedly securing the border they’ll go ahead with the rest of the amnesty plan. Sure that sounds like it’ll work.

If Rubio really wanted to do something real he would say when there is a border fence across the ENTIRE southern border then we’ll start thinking about the rest of this BS. He could say that before we do anything the number for people who slip through should be less than 5%. Do something palpable. Do something ballzy.

I watched a video taken at the Border fence in CA. The cameraman showed to 17 year old girls climbing up and over the fence in a matter of seconds. Oh by the way the fence was built to be un-climbable.

Run some 220 through that fence.

Oh great, Now you wanna supply them with free electricity.

A republican who foists a fake solution as being serious is a RINO. Background checks for illegals? Who are you going to call? The gangs they were in? Mexican Government?

Please. This is BS. And Rubio put his flag on it.

    • keyesforpres

Maybe we could call the Mexican prisons, since many are released from the prisons and brought to the border.

Love Senator Sessions. All we need is 59 more like him!

  • Sober_Thinking

I love the woman’s face in this video… if Sessions was consistently passing gas, that’s what it would look like. Wonder what Jeff had for lunch. Great comments though. :)

Fix the borders first. A Fair Tax would be nice because ANYONE who is in this country will pay taxes, whether they’re here legally or not. Some of the things Rubio is suggesting makes sense and could be a decent course to take… if the borders are indeed secured first and the laws are enforced properly. Also… go after employers who hire illegals.

But I agree with Scoop… this can’t be done in the next 4 years. Obama and the Democrats will undermine any reasonable attempt to fix this problem… and the damned lapdog media will echo their sabotage and propagandize the left’s point of view. Bank on it. Plus, Obama wants to add to his legacy… this would be another feather in his pimp hat. The problem is, whatever passes through the bowels of the Democrats and Obama, always stinks and is wrapped up in tons of paper (regulations and subterfuge).

Sadly, I think we’re past what I really want, which is to deport ALL the illegals and their families – it’s been a problem that’s grown way out of proportion for too long, under too many Presidents and it has become very complex. It’s just plain impractical now to do the right thing. For now, I think Rubio is trying some decent ideas… and many of his solutions/suggestions have merit.

Senator Sessions is a hero to defenders of American sovereignty.

I know of what the distinguished senator speaks. I live in a small apartment complex that has roughly 200 units. In those units we have approximately 40 families from Burma a country which only recently gained political recognition and normalized relations with the U.S. A great celebration was made of this fact and credit for this recognition was given to Hitlery Clinton.
Of those approximate 40 families all receive food-stamps, housing payments, and medicaid. And they have received those payments from day one. All arrived here with at least two little ones in tow and several of the women were pregnant when they got here with two children on the ground already. One family in particular has four kids two they arrived with and two more since getting here with the new births coming in less than two years. And they are still on the taxpayers dole, reproducing like rabbits because they too realize that the more children they have the more money they get!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS HAS TO STOP AND STOP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
