John Bolton gave the best speech today in my opinion thus far. It was all foreign policy starting with Egypt and ending with China. There are so many memorable lines that I can’t write them all, but a couple that stick out in my mind are:

Worrying about a REAL democracy in Israel is more important than a hypothetical democracy in Egypt!

We do not accept an America president that is weak, indecisive and apologetic about our country!

Enjoy!

Certainly, no rational person disputes the fact that “The WORST PRESIDENT of Modern America” must be defeated in the Nov. 2012 election. Based on the horrific candidate the “Republicans” nominated in 2008, every effort must be made this time to avoid a person with such massive character flaws and get a candidate that reflects real American conservative values. Unfortunately, there are a lot of presidential wanna-be’s that are every bit as bad as AMNESTY-JOHN, and they MUST NOT be the nominee if we want to further take back our country in 2012.

The flawed characters: (speaks like jimmy “the peanut” carter) barbour, (who dat?) huntsman, (the mustache) bolton, (a bush!!!!) jeb bush, (mr. ethanol) gingrich, (do nothing senator) thune, (dumber than even babs boxer) santorum, (the hair) trump, (“I pardon rapists and murderers so they can rape and murder again”) huckabee, (romneycare) romney, (ignore social issues) daniels, (not again!) ron paul…..

This is the bunch of “to be” losers who have less chance of winning the presidency than my pet hamster, “little obozo”. Each of these clowns is unlikely to get more votes for president than the candidate from the “Rent is too **** high” party. Of course, that doesn’t mean one of them won’t be nominated by the “Republicans” – if they can nominate a RINO TRAITOR like NO-CHARACTER AMNESTY-JOHN mccain there is clearly NOTHING or NOBODY that they wouldn’t nominate. My “little obozo” has a chance, but let’s hope that none of those in this flawed bunch does.

I love how the one negative you can think of is that Bolton has facial hair. It truly shows the depth of your analysis and I think we shold all take your comments with the seriousness it deserves. I just hope that one day, in my lifetime, at some point, if only for a couple of minutes, before I die, that I can meet a liberal who can actually argue the issues instead of reverting to personal attacks. Of course, I also hope to win the lottery….

That person is named Teapartynation, and from past comments if I remember correctly is conservative. Make note also that he had nothing negative to say about Palin. That should give a hint at who he thinks is the peerless potential candidate for 2012.

His analysis is very shallow though. I often wonder why it is that if amnesty is such a “line in the sand” to conservatives why they still worship Reagan so much…

        • Pundit35

Good point but I have never been on this site nor do I pay attention to screen names as too many are fake.

Reagan’s amnesty was a drop in the proverbial bucket and was supposed to be backed up with real immigration reform and caps which Congress decided not to follow up on. Nowadays. amnesty only means “come on in and don’t forget to wipe you feet. Can I get you anything to eat?”

          • Anonymous

Yeah, that’s (supposedly) what McCain’s “immigration reform” would be as well. The only reason I can see from my admittedly biased perspective that he catches heat for it in the sense of “fool me once, shame on me. . .”

I won’t get into my position on immigration as it might start a flamewar, lol, but I can’t say Teapartynation is a Con with any certainty. It’s just assumption since he has 0 criticisms of Palin, not even superficial ones like for Bolton and Trump (neither of which I like).

little obozo does have my vote for nomination. the state of the union speeches will be amazing to watch while he runs on his wheel for an hour. He’ll solve foreign policy by running up the legs of foreign ambassadors.

Yep, Little Obozo President of the United States 2012.

Okay, I’m not serious about this response at all, but I do find the idea of a hamster president funny. That might give you an inclination of how serious I take TPN’s original post. There is no perfect candidate for President, so you live with what you’re options are (I don’t know, isn’t that kind of the conservative thing to do to live with what you got and do what you can with it?).

I’m sure Reagan even had his critics on the right (He did lose the 1976 nomination afterall). If you really don’t like the choices, do a write-in for the deceased Ronald Reagan. You’d probably scare the pants off our enemies that we were willing to elect a dead man to become President. ZOMBIE REAGAN RUNS AGAIN!

        • DisturbingBehavior

Okay, I think Little Obozo has some competition.
Princess here has my nomination if they go head to head:

I think perhaps it was humor? I found it amusing, but then my humor rarely is the same as the peeps on this site. I agree out of that list all of them are losers w/the exception of Bolton. A small makeover would go a long way for him. He can keep his mustache just get a stylish hair cut. Unfortunately America is beauty conscience.

Hello….it’s time to wake up to the fact that since all of the weak candiates you mentioned are the King Pins of the Tea Party whom the Republicans live in fear of bucking up against…… Presidnt Obama will win the next election!!!!

    We’re doomed.

    • Anonymous

We aren’t doomed unless people continue to say we are. There are a whole bunch of us in this country that won’t settle for people like Huckabee or Romney or Jeb Bush. Not anymore. It’s going to have to be a conservative this time, and a tough one. I have every faith in us. So…. we aren’t doomed.

    • poptoy1949

      NO!!!!!!!!

  • http://geopolicy.wordpress.com Tony

John Bolton and Allen West, two of my favorite public officials. NO DOUBT!

  • Anonymous

“Finally the TRUTH is being spoken about the situation in the Middle East and the SOLUTIONS which should be implemented.Mr.Bolton sounds and looks like a great replacement for the Secretary of State of the United States of America in 2012.”

  • Zaza69

There are very few conservatives that could fit the bill and become the next President of the United States. I can quote a few like Allen West, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, John Bolton, Chris Christie, etc.. etc. But the real question is: how can we know that the person running on the conservative ticket is the right president for this country? The credentials go far beyond competence and knowledge of foreign policy.
We need a person that has the character of a Reagan, who himself knew too how to discern the times, in light of the Bible. Reagan had no problems discussing Russia with his cabinet members by referring to Bible verses. May I add that he was God’s choice for President of the USA way before Carter came to power. Against all odds, he became President at the ripe age of 70. It took us a Carter and his devastating policies to pray and have the right person ushered. History is repeating itself again. We might be a different generation but we need a rightful and godly person that will overcome our opponent’s thuggish campaign trickery and divisive rhetoric! The best way this can achieve is when we get on our knees, recognize that by own power we mess things up and ask the Mighty One to intervene and heal our land.
May God bless America and appoint a Godly person to lead us during the difficult times ahead!

    • Pundit35

Uh, The Huckster isn’t a conservative.

And as much as I enjoy Christie, he isn’t much of one either, though he woudl make a fine president.

The only adult in the room is Bolton and it is a damn shame he will not win. America needs a leader like him.

      • Zaza69

There must be one out there that fills the bill…. and fills the bill perfectly! May God help us locate him …. or her!

        • Zaza69

Sorry, I meant “fits the bill”!

          • DisturbingBehavior

Just doing a play on words here: Even if we find someone who “fits the bill” Obama is gonna be “footing the bill” to him or her.

        • Anonymous

West, and he is too busy being noble to run.

Why should God answer our prayers anymore?
He provided His man for us to lead us through the most devastating attack in our history with courage, determination and dependence on God Almighty.

And how did the American people reward this man of God? By demeaning, attacking, lying about him and trivializing him continuously, even now after he has been out of office more than two years.

I thank God that we had President George W. Bush at the helm on 9-11-01. I cannot think of anyone that could have done what he did with the strength and purpose he showed through the worst of times. God bless him.

“We do not accept an America president that is week indecisive and apologetic about our country!”

What day of the “week” is this president?

    • DisturbingBehavior

Monday, definitely Monday. It’s the worst day of the week. Garfield has told me so.

I do not see John Bolton as presidential material, but I sure do see him as either V.P. material or Secretary of State. He is intelligent and knows his stuff. Good man.

  • http://punditpawn.wordpress.com PunditPawn

You can see why Democrats wanted Bolton out at the UN… Can’t have a competent diplomat fighting for American’s behalf when there’s just so, so much to redistribute and give away in the name of liberalism.

  • http://www.joshcomm.org Jon C. Randall

I have a lot of confidence in this man, and in what he says. His bring back the Kirpatrick speech of 1971 added to my admiration of him as it was Jeannes Speech that made me realize I was on the wrong side of the fence and wasn’t a “Democrat,” so I resigned when Walter Mondale ran for President. I don’t regret that at all.

  • http://twitter.com/danielevanssays Daniel Evans

What, exactly, is unpresidential about Bolton? This guy is scary. Imagine the kind of administration he’d put together. I’d like to see it.

    • http://www.joshcomm.org Jon C. Randall

I had to read you again to see what you were really saying, and it appears that you support him. Just listening to the mans speaking shows his heart, and how he thinks. He is brilliant, and very astute.

  • Impertinent

As much as I think we have to have a man like Bolton around a sitting Prez or the SOS, or around a National Security advisor…John speaks the truth. Which ultimately disqualifies him as he cannot utter an untruth and simply won’t learn to be PC!

  • Craig

I pretty much agree with Bolton that this president has been indecisive and weak in foreign affairs. But does anyone really believe that McCain would have done any better?

  • poptoy1949

JackSprat said it perfectly. This is indeed the man to be the next President. Absolutely not doubt about it. Col. Allen West for Vice President would be my choice. This would make the most intelligent and knowledgeable ticket that I can ever remember in my years. It would be a dream come true to see these two fine men elected. Perhaps I would sleep easily knowing they were in charge.

    • Ticked Off Too

Bolton / West 2012 is a dream ticket alright!

It would also set the stage for “West in the West Wing” in 2020 … or 2016 if John got everthing straightened out and wanted to retire.

When you have leadership in the White House that is either naive or incompetent, then the transformation of the Middle East has no chance of ending well. Obama has shown to the world that he is a laughingstock that cannot be trusted. We are vulnerable as never before. The possibility of losing the leadership of the free world has become reality as Obama has apologized for American exceptionalism. The world has come to the realization that our country cannot be trusted in difficult times. He has forsaken our allies and emboldened our enemies. These are grave times for our country.

  • http://www.joshcomm.org Jon C. Randall

This is the best copy of John Bolton’s speech before CPAC, and is clear, concise, and VERY Knowledgeable about the world around us. He knows things, and is right on about them. http://www.blip.tv/file/4761512

Bolton’s knowledge of history is a great asset.

  • Redneck63625

If John Bolton is frozen out of the next Republican Administration, then it will be proof that administration has been “captured” by the idiot branch of the GOP…the branch that preferred Bush 41 and Gerald Ford to Reagan, nominated John McCain, loved Arlen Spector, and hates Sarah Palin.
