John Bolton says that SoS Kerry just looks foolish with his comments on Climate Change being a threat like terrorism or WMDs. He calls it a ‘rhetorical scare campaign’ and points out that Global Warming was also said to be a national security threat back in the day. But because that never worked and it wasn’t really getting warmer, they changed the name to Climate Change and are now doing the same thing all over again, this time trying to make it a global threat.
Bolton says the threat could be global cooling and the answer from the likes of Kerry would still be more centralized government and global institutions in order to control the economy and our lives. Bolton adds that even if we are warming and are contributing to it, centralized government and global institutions is the wrong answer.
