As you may know by now, Israel has been carrying out airstrikes against Hamas since hours after they found the murdered bodies of the kidnapped teens yesterday.
When asked about it yesterday, the State Dept. gave their ridiculous line that both sides should show restraint, as if Israel had done anything wrong here.
John Bolton whole heartedly disagrees with the State Department, saying that we should be working with Israel to help them deal a massive blow to Hamas. He believes that because of world pressure, Israel always moderates its response against Hamas.
But this is war, Bolton points out, and Israel has not only a right to respond, but a right to destroy Hamas should they choose to do so.
