There have been many rumors that John Kelly would be leaving the White House or that Trump would fire him. But those rumors over the past year are apparently untrue, as Trump just asked John Kelly to remain his Chief of Staff until 2020…and he agreed!

As you know I’ve always been a proponent of Kelly staying in the White House, even through the turmoil about Rob Porter. Kelly has been one of the best things to happen to Trump as far as his staff goes and I’m glad it’s staying that way.
By the way, this announcement comes a day after Kelly’s one-year anniversary in the White House:
