At least according to this guy, Rove secretly called a meeting with the Delaware Tea Party to try and talk them into supporting the Party…or in this case Castle:

Dan Riehl believes that Fox should suspend Rove:

Fox Should Suspend Rove And Investigate, Cornyn Must Resign:

Especially given his comments on Fox News tonight, until this is resolved, it seems impossible to trust Rove as an objective analyst. In terms of the conservative movement, we should not simply ignore him, but proactively work to undermine Rove in whatever ways we can, given his obvious willingness to undermine us.

Oh ho – i can just now see the media grab a hold of this and make a mockery of the Republican party. It would be wise of the NRSC to support O’Donnell to avoid a disaster – you know damage control.

What Carl did (a year ago… according to this gentleman’s own words) was/is SOP in general primary functions/meeting.

Now, if he had done so TODAY… that’s a different bowl of Wheaties. But, according to this man, he did NOT.

    Sackett

BTW, Rove’s public tear-down of Ms. O’Donnell is also SOP for the establishment. It’s their way of publicly putting out the word, “DON’T CROSS US!”

Only problem is… there’s WAY TOO MANY AMERICANS, that just don’t give a rat’s anymore.

    THANK GOD!!

I’d go one step further, for myself and from what I’m seeing around this and other blogs, that establishment Standard Operating Procedure actually encourages the exact OPPOSITE of what they intend.

The age old American tradition of spitting in the eye of anyone claiming self-righteous arbitrary authority, I love it!

  • Rich

Wait, who actually thought Rove was a conservative? He was always republican party first, George Bush fan second, and way, way in last place, a conservative.

      Typical progressive Neocon.

oops i was out of context…..i see. rove a neocon progressive… i would agree with that.

This video is really powerful!! I believe him.

Even if he is a “no-name,” he’s got to be credible to at least a pretty decent degree for the gal who just won the primary to give him the opportunity to speak to the nation.

      • DelaWhere

Here, Russ is NOT a ‘no-name’ to anyone involved with the TEA Parties…

An ex-Marine (yes, once a Marine…..) he brought together several groups, strengthening the organization as the 9-12 Delaware Patriots. Their bi-weekly meetings are informational, educational and very enlightening. Beyond politics.

Credible? You can bank on what he tells you!

    both parties are corrupt
    likewise the media ~

I saw what the Repub establishment did to Katherine Harris when she won the Repub primary for Senate in Florida. Governor Jeb Bush announced he would not even meet with her let alone vote for her. O’Donnell should expect daily attacks by by establishment repubs. Then they’ll say “see we told you she would not win”

This is really pathetic on the part of the entrenched gop’ers. For the NRSCC to come out and declare that they “will not spend a dollar, in the State of Delaware”. Is political “treason”, as far as I’m concerned. I watched both Rove and Perino on Hannity last night and could not believe what I was hearing from them.
They are invoking the “Buckley” rule, most conservative, best candidate and best chance to win. Reagan must be “Turning Over” in his grave ….. What happened to “Never speak ill of another Republican”.
In the meantime I’ll be dropping in on O’Donnell’s website today and make a contribution to the campaign.
Let it never be said that any Republican can’t “blow” a gift or a election, when it’s being handed to them. Will they ever get the message?
Shame on you Rove and the GOP!

I wonder how Glenn Beck is going to handle this situation with Perino and Rove on his show today? Both being Fox News Contributors.
Should be interesting with all of the “Back Biting” going on here.

I dunno guys, personally I don’t particularly want to see the Republican party gain power in the near future, so I’m pretty thrilled about O’Donnell’s victory, but if Karl Rove knows how to do any one thing, it’s to win elections. Ignore him at your own risk.

The establishment (DNC, RNC, and other saudis sponsored groups) are scared. They know their TIME is almost up. Go the authentic TEA PARTY movement.

If you want to shoot yourself in the foot, then waste your energy going after Cornyn and Rove. Rove has direct millions toward Angle, not the mainstream candidate of the party, and Cornyn directed the maximum money allowed to O’Donnell immediately after the official results were known. Yea, some people leaked the supposed dislike for O’Donnell, but was that person a liberal Republican or a Democrat playing at being a Republican. Who knows when it is anonymous, then it should be ignored. Actions speak louder.

Cornyn and Rove do not have the same ideology as Castle but saw him as the stronger candidate and malleable enough to work against the Obama administration and the Democrats. So Rove met with the TEA Party to try and convince them to support Castle; good for him for being up front. I would have met secretly myself if I was trying to win over a group; he did meet with them, which is better than most of the Republican power brokers we see in Cecil County, MD who have been using the knife in the back routine. Hey this is politics

We’ll see in the general who was initially right but now go after the Marxist Democrat opponent with all your energy for the “greater good” of the county.
