Krauthammer: Palestinians attacked Romney over stance on Jerusalem and mindless press bought it

While Krauthammer believes Romney was off to a rocky start in London, he disagrees with the consensus of the mindless press and says that Romney’s remarks about culture were not a gaffe, but rather that Palestinians attacked Romney because they didn’t like his position that Jerusalem should be the capital of Israel.

  • You would have to be blind not to see that the MSM has been backing the Palestinians for years. Leftists and Islamics are on the same side.

    • M_J_S

When you get in an argument with a Leftist, just tell them they support tyranny and watch them squirm.

  • sDee

It really tells alot about someone as knowledgeable, experienced, and well connected as Krauthammer when he tries pass off this intentional and coordinated media propaganda as “mindless”

He knows it could not be further from “mindless”. So, why cover for them?

    • p m

Agree, and I wish he wouldn’t repeat the canard that Romney had ‘a rotten start in London’. He didn’t, he’d just read British papers and watched British tv reports, and acknowledged that there were then, and are now, problems.

Too often, CK sounds like he’s batting for the other side, damining with faint praise, and that makes me distrust him and tend to steer away from his commentary.

    • StrangernFiction

Because to give it to the folks straight would be downright Visigothian, and would get him removed from Fox.

  • when romney pleases the palestians, i’ll be worried…until then, i hope he agravates the heck out of them…

    • PVG

      I’m with you Janet.

Media or Propaganda Arm? Beck Compares Soviet Media With the American MSM

While mainstream media bias in America may be considered subtle to some, people who hail from Communist, even Fascist regimes, frequently share a common observation about President Obama, who they view as a cult of personality aided by a propaganda apparatus similar to that found in the former Soviet Union. And Glenn Beck agrees.

    • p m

They’re right, I think. And may I say, not so subtle, either.

    • Why are you listening to Beck who is a alcoholic drugged addicted Mormon. LOL and you are taking spiritual advice from him a cultist. The brainwashing begins.

      • williamm

I would accuse you of being brainwashed, but you would need a brain first.

Why are you listening to your Messiah that admitted he spent much of his time in college drugged up and hanging around the scumbags that want to destroy this country and crap on our Constitution? I know you probably are nothing but a troll that has no real life. I used to feel sorry for people like you, but not anymore. With your non-functioning brain , I’m sure you have no clue how screwed up you really are

Now get back in your padded cell before your keeper discovers you escaped long enough to post your comment.

At least Beck made something of himself while your Messiah made a mess of this country.

        Have a good night.

      • Watchman74

I don’t see any spiritual advice given in that article. I don’t follow Beck spiritually but I follow him politically. The latter of which being a Mormon and EX-alcoholic have absolutely no relevance.

      • yanksrule

Actually the funniest thing about your nonsensical post CB is that you have a pic of your face for all to see….Now that is LOL

        • ConnieConservative

I’m sure you are teasing, Yanks.
Cheryl looks like a cute girl. We conservatives mind our words.

      • ConnieConservative

Mr.Beck is sober many years, is an ex alcoholic.
Besides supporting the Constitution, he supports many charities.
Actually CREATES many charities might be a better term.
Perhaps the brainwashing is on your side.

  • Landscaper59

The START video box is covering his mouth and where it should STAY.

  • MaroonRepublic

Romney was correct and who could argue that there is a culture difference in their successes.

Look at what the Palestinians have compared to Israel. Hell, throw in the rest of the middle east.

  • He said the capitol of Israel was Jerusalem which it isn’t and insulted the Palestinian people who are under apartheid and economical distress because of Israel. You have been saber-ratting for over ten years about Iran developing a nuclear weapon. In the meantime, Israel has nuclear weapons, an army, and an air force and you are worried about them? Romney doesn’t know what he is talking about and you keep Republicants misinformed by making excuses for his inexperience. Bain Capital created mostly part time minimum wage jobs after destroying people jobs and pension thus making millions in the process. I want to see his tax forms for 2008 to present too see if indeed he paid any taxes and how he made his money since he is unemployed.

    • Landscaper59

      God would disagree about Isreal.

      • Landscaper59

        Israel (sp)

    • Watchman74

Ask the Prime Minister of Israel and he will tell you the capitol of Israel IS Jerusalem. The Jews have 3000 years of history linked to Jerusalem. The Muslims cannot claim this. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran. Israel is not an apartheid state, there are many Arab Israelis. On the other hand the palestians have said if they get there own state Jews would not be allowed. They have been given billions of dollars over the decades so there’s no reason they should be under “economic distress”. Israel has never acknowledged they have nuclear weapons nor have they threaten to wipe anyone off the map. If you haven’t noticed Israel is surrounded by enemies who have attacked 3 times. As far as Romney the tax thing is a red herring. If he wasn’t running for president it wouldn’t even be an issue.

    • Your brainwashing is complete. We have certified this to 99.99% accuracy. The meme repeater functionality is operating a peak efficiency. Congratulations! You may now join Obama’s task force as a human drone.

    • Jerusalem has always been understood as THE capital of Israel and the only reason it isn’t named as such to day is to appease “moderates” in Washington and the State Department. Jerusalem will never belong to anyone except Israel. The City of David is unlike any other in the world…

And you Cheryl must have gotten bored on The Huffington Post & MSNBC websites (which I can understand)…

    • yanksrule

CB you need to polish of whatever your drinking and go crawl under you sheets and pass out for a couple of days..

      • p m

But before she does that, she should check out the luxury shopping malls and overflowing market stalls in Gaza. Compliments of Israel and the rest of the West. Would you believe, they actually wish to market Gaza for tourism? Tis true.

    • Jay

Oh yeah? Let’s see how the Big 0 got into Columbia after spending the last two years of high school chooming and playing bassetball.

  • 911Infidel

Palestinians? What are they since there’s no such thing. That’s an Arafat-made-up word.
What do you expect from a bunch of Satan worshipping cretins who want to cast all the Jews into the sea or kill them all. Doesn’t the Hadith say that “all the Jews must be killed before the end comes?” Why sure it does. So why bother caring what the tools of the Shatain have to say in the first place?

    • freenca

Arafat just found a way to fill HIS OWN pockets on the backs of others, and kept getting recognized as a leader of people of which he was not one. The kleptocracies that have ensued in the palestinian wards have not helped the people there, so that they are kept stirred to fanaticism and suicidal frenzies.

      • 911Infidel

        I’ll do ya one better:

“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct Palestinian people to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.”

        – Zuhair Muhsin, leader of the PLO splinter gang known as “Al Sa’iqa” 1977

        • freenca

I think I have heard or read that quote before. While the treatises that created Israel were instituted, the peoples that were “displaced” were not assimilated into the Jordanian or Egyptian or Lebanese or Syrian peoples as was planned by the signitories. There lies the rub. Until or unless they decide to be honest brokers, naught will come to naught.

          • 911Infidel

The Arabs never went along with the partition plan instead they wanted to annihilate Israel. They asked other Arabs to leave so that the Arab armies could aasault Israel w/o killing other Arabs who might get in the way. Whole families and towns moved with the promise that they could return once the Arab armies won the war. They lost.
But these displaced persons are not the problem. The problem is the migrants from all over the Arab world who have decided to “occupy” Israeli lands. They have no intention to assimilate. They have every intention to push the Jews into the sea or to annihilate them. The Arabs are just following their Koran and Hadith.

“‘Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” – Hamas Charter Preamble

“‘The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews’ usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.” (Article 15)

‘[Peace] initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement… Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam… There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility.’ (Article 13)

That’s all anyone needs to know about it. Ham-as and the PLA are no different in their goals vis vis Israel’s existence.

There is so thing as “Palestine” The word is non-existent. In the Arabic it is Filistinia.
It means the same thing. It is a lie.

From a PLA cleric speech 1/22/2012

‘As Mohammed Hussein noted in his speech, the hadith that says “there is a Jew behind me, come kill him,” comes from hadith collections considered reliable by Muslims, including Sahih (“sound,” “reliable”) Bukhari 4.52.177: “Allah’s Apostle said, The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him’.”‘ ….

“The hour of resurrection will not come until you fight the Jews,” Hussein told the gathering, citing a hadith, or saying attributed to the Prophet Muhammad. “The Jews will hide behind stones and trees. But the trees and the stones will call: oh Muslim, oh servant of God, there is a Jew hiding behind me so come and kill him.”…

Arafat’s little tactic of negotiating land for peace and then starting an intifada as a reward to the Israelis, doesn’t work anymore. The PLA and Hamas will never be satisfied until they slaughter all the Jews, so that their evil Mahdi will return to the earth to conquer it.

There will never be peace between the two sides as long as Muslims continue to embrace Mo and his pimp-daddy god. The mosque is both religion and state. Sharia is their constitution. Peace is saleem or hudna, never sohl with Westerners or Jews.

            • freenca

I do pray for peaceful solutions as I know you do also infidel. The thought of other avenues of resolution are abhorrent, but may be all that’s left to us if we cannot accomplish them. If that is to be the case, then we must never be distracted from victory and not get derailed into an unsteady faux peace as has been the cases in both Iraq and Afganistan.

              • 911Infidel

                I embrace Joel 3:2.

                • freenca

Thank you infidel, that verse does seem so fitting.

                • 911Infidel

You’re welcome. Isaiah 21 is also instructive.

                • freenca

I read that one last week and it sent a shiver up my spine I must say. It seems to be unfolding just as written.

Buy the book (or download it) “God’s War On Terror” by Walid Shoebat. Or go to youtube and watch Walid’s lectures on eschatology. There’s a bunch of them. Abnsat TV is a great channel for instruction. The other great channel is Alhayat TV. The last one is all Arabic.

    • WordsFailMe

Good morning Infidel: Just ran across this on on DC Thought you might appreciate the Quranic Update! Looks like the Mus are having the came problem with their constitution as we are having with ours
      Have a great day!

      • 911Infidel

Oh yeah. “The Anus Jihad”. Raynond Ibrahim has written extensively on that fatwa. Truth is the Mooselems practice gayness all the time. They use it as a form of torture in their prisons and they also practice it with little boys as in Afghanistan’s “Dancing Boys”. Mullah Omar is said to be a practicioner as well. Oh but he’s a holy man? Yeah right and I’m a martian from the planet zendar.

  • Rage is the only emotion of Islam. It is primitive, gutteral, animalistic. There is no room for Islam in intellectual intercourse, much less creation.

  • Sober_Thinking

Romney hasn’t done or said a single thing wrong while overseas. The pathetic LSM is desparate to slime him and this is fabricated outrage.

With Romney standing by Israel and making strong statements, he’s serving notice to the poisonous Muslims that America is NOT their friend and won’t stand for their BS. He’s telling the world that the days of apologies and weakness are over if he’s elected.

  • Mike Lee

Pissing off the Palestinians is a feature – not a bug.

  • Jay

Romeny pi$$ed off the socialist Brits, the Palestinians- he’s off to a great start. Now he needs to offend Putin, Kim Jerk Off, Chavez and the rest of our enemies. If only the bootlick media would report it so the sheeple would see he’s got a pair.

  • MiketheMarine

Jerusalem IS the capita of Israel.

  • NAZI….The National Socialist government of Hitlers Germany were friends of all Muslim nations, and shared the same ideology when it came to Jews. Exterminate, eradicate and annihilate from the face of the earth Israel and it’s people. Nothing has changed!…. with the exception of today’s Germany, but not that of socialist and their ideology. Enough Said!

  • Brooklyn_NY_Conservative

I would just like to point out to liberals who feel that we have to be fair to both sides of the Isreali Palistinian conflict that there is nobody that the Israelies can talk to on the other side that would ever accomplish anything significant. The leaders are Hamas, Hizballah, and the PA which has hooked up together with Hamas. I just can’t understand for the life of me why we give money to the PA. Would we give money to Hamas? I would also like to hear Romney asked if he would continue to give money to the PA and Egypt (which is now controlled my the Muslim Brotherhood). I understand both sides of the argument of giving money to Pakistan. Personally, I’m not sure myself what the right answer is regarding Pakistan. Also, regarding the PA, remember the house put a freeze on those funds and Obama lifted the freeze. I don’t expect much from Obama, but I would like to see hear from Romney what he would do.
