Krauthammer says that out of all the terrible things going on in the world, Obama still wants to talk about nuclear disarmament as though it were the most important issue we face. Kraut says this is the least important issue on the planet yet Obama is stuck on his obsession from the 80s when he thought the nuclear freeze didn’t go far enough in reducing our nukes.
But then Juan Williams chimes in acting as though this issue is one of the most important that we face and that if the US and Russia sets an example of disarmament, then countries like Iran and Pakistan will follow. Kraut responded, explaining why Juan’s logic is absurd and finally pointed out that the idea that Iran will follow our lead in disarming is ‘preposterous’.
