Krauthammer argued that this was Trump’s strongest debate performance to date and believed that Trump was winning the debate on points…that is until Trump refused to say he would accept the results of the debate.
Krauthammer said this was a terrible mistake, even calling it political suicide.

Krauthammer says the reason this was damaging was because Trump was winning the debate up until that point, that he was doing what he needed to do to try and stop the slide of voters switching to Hillary. Now all the headlines are going to be about Trump refusing to say he’d accept the election results instead of about Trump winning.
