I don’t think Republicans should be complacent about this – the Democrat “blue wave” does look real, and the Trumpster isn’t doing much to reach beyond his rabid base to expand the support for his policies even while demanding absolute loyalty from every Republican. But at least we know Ted Cruz has another six years in the Senate – and if he doesn’t, then it will truly be a liberal armageddon in the rest of the country…
