Levin says that Republicans are doing way too little in the way of spending and blames the leadership for being more interested in power than the future of the country. One of his big issues that he talks about is the fact that Michele Bachmann has uncovered over 100 billion that is currently being used to fund ObamaCare’s implementation, that was hidden in the ObamaCare legislation for this purpose. But instead of removing it with the recent CR (Continuing Resolution), they don’t even address it. Levin can’t believe they would allow Obama to continue to create this humongous entitlement when they have the chance to kill it.

Levin says it’s time for the freshmen Republicans to rise up and let their voices be heard.

Disgraceful. Typical weak Bush-era republicans. The newest gang of 6 being formed is going to make them look even more like the dumb-asses they are.

Are you retarded? They can. They can fight, tooth and nail, until cuts are made-period.

What’s the worst that happens? The government gets shut down? So what? GOP leadership sucks.

You keep passing these spending cuts no matter what and make the dems justify as to why their spending money we don’t have. If “our” own are rino’s or spineless they need to be eaten.Sorry but cowards in position of leadership make me ill. Their nothing but little children in old mens bodies.

Yessir, I love me some Mark Levin… He IS a think thank :)

Every Republican in the House should have a photo of Nancy Pelosi on the wall. The Caption should be “I Will Be Back” now if that does not scare them into action, nothing will.
Mark, I want to hear more about Congresswomen Bachmann’s findings.

They are arguing over pennies, while I pay $3.50 for gas. Someone in Washington should get off their butt and CUT SPENDING! This is just dumb. I think we need to throw every single one of them OUT. Just dissolve the whole bunch and ban them from within 20 miles of the city limits of Washington D.C. Let’s just start over with all new Senators and Representatives.

I was starting to wonder if I was just missing something by the repubs being so quiet. What is the deal with this?! I am extremely disappointed with what is going on. Even after Michelle B being on Meet The Press and carrying on about it, and still nothing is said.
I have heard, I think on Sean Hannity radio, that we cannot do anything about this now because the money has been designated for Obamacare.
Does anyone know if this is true?

    • B-Funk

It’s true, but I think the House can deny them the money because it is setting the budget. I could be wrong on that, though. The money might already be set for it. Either way, the Republicans should cut everything they possibly can!

Mark is exactly right. This ridiculous $61 billion cut is LAUGHABLE. These weak-kneed Republicans need to get FIRED in 2012.

  • Anonymous

Agree 100%, this entire thing has been bothering me for awhile now; they need to speak up, and we need to cut FAR MORE than 100billion. If it were me, Id push to cut that 100bill, say we did the MINIMUM then push to cut 500billion, and hold; the 500billion won’t pass, but they wouldn’t be the party of no, and it wouldn’t hurt them in the end as they are the ones at least trying.

  • K~Bob

Excellent replay, Scoop! It’s extremely rare that I agree with every word in a Levin rant. This is one time where he said exactly what I was thinking.

I want some leadership out of the new faces. So far, all we see in congress is Jim DeMint and Michelle Bachmann. Throw in a few short quips from Rubio and a couple of excellent outings by Allen West. That’s an OK showing for Kollidge hoops, but this is the NBA (of Politics).

  • Gary R

Thank God for Mark Levin! He seems to be the only political commentator who is voicing what we are all feeling! We need to get rid of ALL these Demmunists, and ALL Republicans who are going along with their destructive policies. I think the only way we’re going to fix this is to replace ALL of Congress and the White House. ALL of them. We need fresh horses!

  • Spintreebob

Based on what I’ve seen in interviews, Boehner etal are clueless on the mechanics. Rather than ominbus CR, they need many small CRs. have as separate CR to fund HUD at 2008 level; a separate CR to fund HHS at 2007 level; a separate CR to fund FDA at 2006 level or whatever they want. But the point is that the veto of any single bill does not bring down the governmet, it just brings down 1 agency. There are other tactical options that Boehner won’t even consider. He has only 1 play in his play book… and he doesn’t know how to execute that one properly.
