This is the full interview between Mark Levin and Frank Gaffney tonight on Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood. Gaffney also talks about the Muslim Brotherhood’s organized presence in the US.

Obama quite during the Iran uprising.
Obama calls for reform with Egypt.
Obama cut domestic energy production
Obama not pushing natural gas.
Which side is Obama on?
In Obama’s book, he said he will stand with the muslims. This is the first promise Obama has kept.
It isn’t like we’ve had a President recently push natural gas or increase domestic energy production (by any meaningful amount). Can’t just put that on Obama.
Look, we can not like what Egypt might become, but we really have no power here. If the majority of the people in Egypt want Sharia law (which is what Gaffney said) then wtf can we do? Go in and supress the will of the people of a sovereign state? What does that make us? Tyrants and imperialists. We can denounce. We can call out the brotherhood, but beyond words, there is nothing we can do.
I wish Obama had spoken out in favor of the Iranian people. Now, let’s not act like that thing couldn’t have ended up in just another Islamo-facist state. It easily could have. But, with it already being that and already being such a sworn enemy of the United States, we had nothing to lose. In this instance, I have no idea why Obama so quickly sided with the people when he wouldn’t do so in Iran. I suspect he is continuing to try to get on the good side of the hard-line Muslims in order to “repair our image.” Of course, we all know that attempt will be futile but I don’t think Obama sides with the Muslims because of some sinister plot, but because of a misguided foreign policy issue.
Frankly, we would have been better to simply shut up during this thing. Our opening our mouths for Mubarak would have done nothing but fuel the anti-American crowd in Egypt. Our opening our mouths in favor of the people will really look foolish if they end up failing and will hurt our relationship with Mubarak. It’s a lose-lose situation (as opposed to Iran, which was a win-draw situation) and in those instances it’s best to just stay out of it.
more peace = less muslims
The most maddening thing about what Gaffney says towards the end is that the goals of Islamic Jihad are not at all hidden or hard to find. Muslim leaders come right and say so. In English. They make no attempt to hide their plans.
I can’t tell you how many liberals have argued with me by providing links to websites and articles that say exactly what I’ve argued but Muslim defenders use them as proof I’m wrong. It’s bizarre in a way I’ll never get used to. People just refuse to believe what is plain as day.
It’s sickening. But it’s the world today. Winston Smith meets Mayor Vaughn.
Jaynie… i’ve said it before and it bears repeating again and again. The soft leftist/liberal brains will not admit to truth even when it is staring them in the face. Few are the enlightened souls who will turn. Marvin Olansky is one of the very very few.
Look up the interview with Yuri Bezmenov and study it. He tells you that the soft headed useful idiots like Ted Kennedy and all the left wing radicals from the 1960’s and 70’s were targets of Soviet disinformation… and the lambs went willingly to their intellectual demise. Liberal thinking is a degenerative disease, a self destructive pathological malady. Soviet manipulators knew this very well and Islam knows this as well. That’s what makes Islam and Western Liberals a perfect mix.
Here’s the link to Bezmenov. I just love these old Soviet dissidents. They speak the truth in cold stark terms.
Sadly, we have provided ammunition to Egypt which will get passed down to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Khalid Sheikh Mohammeds of the islamic world. Next they will be using these against Israel and against us. My guess is they know that with a weak US President as Obama, they have free reign to do what they want – they saw how he dealt with the Iranian crisis- turning a blind eye. Yet shockingly enough, Obama is making a 180 and is declaring ‘support’ for the overthrow of an elected official who while being a dictator, kept the Middle East at peace. Why not encourage the Egyptians to wait until the General Elections in September as they decide on the right visionaries to run their country? What’s the rush? They could elect the Muslim Brotherhood then without the violent uprising they’re causing now. The question is about timing; the right timing for the radicals; and this is it! With Obama as US President, the Muslim Brotherhood knows they have about two years in their hands to spread Sharia law throughout the Middle East.
Our foreign aide to these countries is what helps these dictators become rich. They should have to depend on their own resources and the production of their people. If they did not have the US giving the dictators money they would not stay in power so long and treat the people so poorly. I am with Rand Paul. It is time to stop all foreign aide. We are broke. Let us rebuild our own resources and stop trying to tell the world what to do.
