Liberal Chris Hahn Concern Trolls Republican Party On Fox

In the same Megyn Kelly segment mentioned earlier today here at the Right Scoop, liberal talking head Christopher Hahn responds to Schumer’s unhinged tea party tirade by doubling down on the tripe:

I think the senator was giving a very articulate communication of what the tea party has become. And he was comparing it to other movements that grew out of a fear of a changing America. And I think the tea party has grown out of a fear of a changing America. But it was basically propped up by big money using tax loopholes and moved this movement into the mainstream politics. And I think the senator, he spent an hour on it. The Republican Party has been spending a year trying to figure out how to get rid of the tea party and moving it out, because basically it’s turning the Republican party into a party that cannot get elected nationally and in many states is just obsolete.

Oh the liberal is so worried for Republicans that they can’t elected get and wants to fixes it for us. Tricksy liberal!

Every single year since the inception of the tea party we have heard this exact same tired line from scared liberals. They laugh and play it cool and say how the tea party is ruining Republicans. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on a podcast or in an online argument with a smug liberal who says something like “I hope you do stick with the tea party. I’d love it! They’ll bring an end to the Republicans.” Oh they are all so clever and unconcerned and living large, happy about the tea party and imminent demise of Republicans and party balloons and cake! Please. They said it in 2010 over and over and over. And what happened liberals?

What did we learn?

Keep playing it cool. It isn’t getting you anything. Well, except for support from spineless, beltway insider, latte sipping Republican poseurs. What a coup!

The liberals are going to keep pulling out all the stops to crush the tea party and conservatives as whole, now and forever. They openly discuss this at conferences like Nutroots Nation. They’re absurd, they’re scared, and they’re going to lose. And even if they think they are not, they must be idiots to think the tea party is just going to go softly into that good night.

Obsolete? We’ll just see about that, won’t we?
