Lindsay Graham bill would let MORE illegal aliens receive Obama’s amnesty

Lindsey Graham is teaming up with Dems to propose a bill that would keep protections for illegal aliens who received Obama’s amnesty “Dream Act.” But what isn’t being widely reported is that the bill would keep accepting applications and offer the “deportation deferral” to more illegal aliens.

From the Huffington Post:

The Dream Act would have granted Dreamers a path to legal status, as would the 2013 immigration reform bill that Durbin and Graham helped draft. The new bill would put DACA recipients into a new type of status, “provisional protected presence,” that would last for three years from enactment. It would not be constrained to only those who currently have DACA: eligible individuals who have not yet applied could be granted provisional protected presence as well.

I really doubt this is going to fly. Even though Trump seemed to be open to amnesty when he backed off on his promise to deport 11-12 million illegal aliens as soon as he took office. When the press began pointing out what an enormous task this would entail, he then pared it down to kicking out 2-3 million “criminal” illegal aliens. Now it appears that he’s open to some kind of amnesty after all of that is done. Does that mean Lindsey Graham is on the right track with his bill? We’ll have to wait and see, I guess.

One sad victim of all these shenanigans: Obama gets to claim some of his “legacy” will stay in place. Boooo!!!
