Sarah Palin to Obama: You ignored us in 2010, but you cannot ignore us in 2012!

***UPDATED with Andrew Breitbart’s speech***

Sarah Palin, affirming her union connections, gave one of the best speeches I’ve heard her give today at a Tea Party event in Madison, WI. Early in the speech she took on the GOP establishment:

We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic. We didn’t elect you just to stand back and watch Obama redistribute those deck chairs. What we need is for you to stand up GOP and fight!

But she didn’t just go after the GOP leadership, she went after the President Obama as well:

The only future that Obama is trying to win is his won re-election. He’s willing to mortgage your children’s future to ensure his own. And that’s no the audacity of hope, that’s cynicism. Piling more debt onto our children and our grandchildren is not courage! No that’s cowardice.

And then it gets even better. After listing many of the things Obama has ignored, including the American people, she leaves President Obama with this challenge:

Well Mr. President, we’re not going to get used to it! Not now, not never! You ignored us in 2010, but you cannot ignore us in 2012!

What a great speech! Enjoy!

That’s the one thing I hate about being us WE are too nice when we protest the Left act like animals “of course they are lol” but we even wait for the cross walk light to cross streets and pick up our trash. Just one time I wish we would tear up something

    • Jackyl

I’m tell’n Tom, political cage fighting! That’s what we need. Comings versus freedom fighters! That would show the collectivists a thing or two about anger management (or lack thereof).

    • Anonymous

How ’bout put that energy into something constructive…like work for Palin’s team and get her elected. Your restrained energy is actually stronger than impulsive anger.

    • I can’t wait for this lady to run for the White House!

  • Let’s be ugly with the left at the voting booth, vote them all out. It’s really frustrating that the left acts like animals and they can get away with it.

    • Jackyl

They dumb, they lie, they cheat and they steal too. But hey, its all for the collective borg and world peace.

You will be assimilated! Resistance is futile!

    • Merle

What’s ugly about that? Sounds lovely to me.

  • Pbart

Ooo, looks pretty chilly up yonder !

  • Pbart

Sure could use more volume, here… all pinned, but very quiet.

    • Brideofchucky

Here’s a link of the speech with better sound.

  • thanks! though i cant hear 2nd one. 1st one is working for me

  • Anonymous

The volume is good now. That last girl (the talk radio host) was good, I like that. We got to be fired up!

  • Yes the volume should be good. If you don’t see a feed above and below the chat, REFRESH THE PAGE.

    • Thanks a bunch. Had to wade thru all the libtard filth gunking up search engines before I came across your link in Facebook.

    Palin 2012!!!!

    • Jackyl

I love Palin! Seriously, Todd’s a dam lucky man. But honestly, Sarah just does not have enough intelectual gun power and charisma to fend off the attacks from the new socialist order crowd.

As much as I would love to see her become Presdient, Michelle Bachmann shows greater skill, ability and charisma.

If Sarah can enhance her skill at dealing with the leftist propaganda factory at the Communist News Network (CNN), MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and every other network, but Fox, then maybe she could win me over.

However, she has not been able to “Wow” me with political adeptness yet.

      • syn

You must have just miss her speech at the Wisconsin Tea Party.

      • i like bachmann but she definitely does not have more charisma than palin…

      • Tjpruett

I love the left’s “Sara is so great but unelectible” meme. You obviously don’t listen to her or you wouldn’t agree with them. Are you a troll? Sounds like you are, to me.

        • I think of the negative things people say about Sarah Palin, and am reminded of how Abraham Lincoln responded to the negative things people said about Ulysses Grant.

I cannot spare this woman; she fights.

        • Jackyl

Geeh Tj, go for the jugular. You’re as blunt as me. Nice. Maybe I am a troll, let me go look in the mirror. Hey you’re right, dam! That sucks.

My point is who ever runs will be attacked more viciously than any other presidential candidate in history. My main concern with Sarah is that she did not handle the attacks very well during the campaign with McCain.

The commies will throw every dirty trick in the book at her and then some. I want her to show me more gumption. I need to see her call their dam bluff and just straight up tell the American public, this is what these a__holes did and my campaign is filing a request to congress asking for a congressional investigation of their communist a__es!

I am tired of watching candidates sit back and let the dirty tricks go unchallenged. To win, will have to unload the big guns on the leftist a__es. She will have to do so because the dirty tricks will work on the left leaning centrist voters. In short, she has to figure out how to capture the centrists. Perhaps we can help her do that by making sure she has enough money and staff to get the word out. This is probably our last chance to save our country. We have to win this one in a landslide.

So there, if you think I am a troll because I make a critical comment about Sarah, go ahead and think that. I will say what I think regardless and I will admit when I am wrong when you reasonably demonstrate that to me.

In your post, you suggest the left thinks “Sarah is so great but”. Really, I have never met a leftist that likes Sarah at all. They fear her and express that fear by making vicious negative comments about her.

It’s true, I am probably being way overly critical about Sarah’s skill and maybe being critical is not the correct thing to do because it plays into the hands of the Marxist, communist, anti-colonialist nut jobs who insist on living in the United States instead of moving back to their motherland, the Soviet Union where they would be welcomed with open arms.

I recognize that even Regan had trouble speaking early on in his political career and he was eventually able to smooth out the wrinkles. I see the progress Sarah has been making with each speech and think by 2012, she will probably have gained the skill and hardened her armor just like Regan.

Perhaps I am completely off base. As Jasmine says, Sarah has more charisma than Bachmann and watching this speech, I have to agree that I am wrong in saying Sarah has less Charisma than Bachman. Perhaps I am not giving Sarah enough credit for the progress she has clearly already made.

I will say this, in terms of potential; I think Sarah Palin has more than any candidate since Regan, bar none. Hell, she may have more potential than Regan for that matter. And I will also say that in 2012, its war! A political war like none of us has ever seen! In short, if we want to win, we are going to have to act like this presidential election is WWIII!

          • Persephone

            Haaaaa!
            I love it.

And yeah…Sarah has more charisma than Michelle B….but then Michelle B. wins big props for going into the lions dens on the LibNetWorks.

I have said it before, on another thread…
That I think Ms. Sarah needs to come out swinging on the ‘quitting’ thing.
Go after ‘Lawsuit Abuse’…name names, get all hostile about it.
            — We have the LawsuitAbuser-in-Chief in the White House, whose suit against Citicorp, on behalf of ACORN, set in motion the banking crisis.
            — Lawsuit Abuse is all around us…it is the single biggest reason why our healthcare costs are so high.
I could go on…but you get the idea.

She needs to do like Bill Clinton did with his laundry list of scandals.
When one would come up…he’d throw it all out there.
Let the dogs chew on it, and tear it to pieces.
Then ::poof:: …it would go away.

I think if Sarah did that with that ‘quitting’ thing…she could make that go away too.

      • morm

        Jackyl, are you a plant?

        • Jackyl

No, I am an animal. At least that’s what my wife says. Behave!

          • Persephone

Tell that woman she’s a lucky wench.
            Persephone said so.

      • Whoa. I like Bachmann, and although I have no clue what that lady is doing wanting to run for the presidency, but Palin dwarfs her in skill, ability and charisma.

        • Anonymous

mostly charisma but even overall smarts

      • teabagger1

“sacrifice for the common good” ?!?!!? She sure sounds like a socialist to me – she is a MORON who doesn’t even understand the words coming out of her mouth!

      • Nonsense.

BTW, you’re doing the concern troll thing wrong again. Todd is a lucky man is the only positive you got? Really? I’m afraid you have zero skills as a concern troll. Maybe with some more practice, you could be convincing. But as it is, your comment is 100% pure nonsense. It doesn’t even make sense.

        • Jackyl

I don’t follow other than you think Sarah has the necessary qualities to win already. Perhaps you are right. This was a good speech. I did not say I was not going to vote for her. I said I had some concerns. I tried to explain them in a response to Tj above. Whatever.

Just explain one thing to me. What does “BTW, you’re doing the concern troll thing wrong again.” mean? Sorry, you lost me?

          • Persephone

            Hi Jackyl.
            *waves*

I think the ‘concerned troll’ is a type of psychological warfare that some trolls use…acting like they are soooo concerned, while firing their little poison darts.
            I’ve seen it other places.

I get the idea that there have been massive troll attacks here in the past…primarily against Sarah Palin.
Some folks are wary of them.
            And probably…rightfully so.

I got that when I started posting m’thoughts on Sarah’s chances.
Said much of what you’ve been saying too, but offering some strategy as well…it wasn’t received well by some.

            • Jackyl

              Thanks Persephone.

Then I guess my response to Vorlath is, “Sorry Vorlath, poison darts are for kids. I prefer RNEPs thank you!”

              • Persephone

                Oooo….RNEPs.
                RNEPs are….hot.
                You’re such a bad boy.
Now that’s what Sarah needs to do.
Hurl some RNEPs at team Obama’s bunker.

                • Jackyl

                  Grrrr!

      • C LeeV8

You must not know Sarah Palin very well. There are plenty of places to get real info about her. I mean, if you really want something more than liberal spin.

        • Jackyl

You guys have your facts wrong. If you are going to attack someone for being critical, argue why the criticism is incorrect?

You’re being emotional. That’s how liberals make decisions for goodness sake.

          How do I know?

          http://teamsarah.ning.com/ I’m a member
          http://sarahpalinradio.com/ I listen

          I voted for her!
I will give her donations of time and money!
I am in love with her! (Oops, did I write that out loud!)

Actually, all men are in love with her, even the communists.

She’s awesome. I really think that. I do. Geeh!

      • Benthoven

Clearly, Jackyl – You are not listening.

        • Jackyl

Yes I am. Are not. Am too. Are not. Am too. Are not. Am too….

          • Benthoven

LOL! Nice reply, Jackyl. I just can’t understand your statement about “not being Wowed with her political adeptness” when as far as I’ve seen, her political instincts have been nothing short of brilliant. The Madison speech on Saturday should have erased any doubt you have of her “political adeptness” (if you had been listening :^) wink wink) Right out of the gate, she established her Union creds and extensive family connections into unions and public education – de-fanging their entire position against her. THAT’s political adeptness, if I’ve ever seen it.

            • Jackyl

If a picture is worth 1,000 words then videos…there worth a whole lot more…I want to see Sarah do the political equivalent of this to the DNC…

Sorry, thats the best explanation I can come up with.

      • Anonymous

During the 2008 election she was handled by RINO McCains managers. She was toned down. Remember her first speech!!!!!! And this one too. She actually attacked obama, something McCain refused to do.

As I stated above, I am concerned about her lack of taking a stand on “illegal aliens”. Guess what, those illegal aliens will become demoncrat voters.

        frjm

        • Anonymous

Her first speech on the floor of the Repub convention. I remember it. The American clock stood still for a moment in time.

      • Dhendrickson42

Fox lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a clue .

        • Jackyl

Thanks for the clue that you are mentally limited.

Dh…look at Russia – sucks to live there.

Look at China – sucks to live there (don’t argue with me, I’ve been there – visited families in their 200 year old dorm rooms smaller than the size of my childhood bedroom – all 4 generations from baby to grandpa lived in the same room).

Look at Detroit – unions and moronic management conspired to create that bombed out city.

Face it. You want to sit on your a__ and leach off the rich. You think its your right to steal from the rich because you think all of them steal from you. I am not rich and I never hated the rich for being rich. If they become spoiled, insecure pompos asses, that is a different story, but if they are rich – I ADMIRE THEM FOR THEIR SUCCESS AND HARD WORK!

In life, nothings free. Your a useful idiot and your being used by socialists to gain power. If you win, you will lose more than you ever can imagine.

But why waste my time on you zombies – none of you listen. Your already programmed “Rich are evil, Rich kill grandma, Rich hate minorities…bla, bla, bla. Whatever.

          • Jackyl

Wait DH, I thought you were just saying you hate Fox News like some kind of lunatic leftist. I did not realize you were protesting my comment. It looks like you are implying that Fox News does not like Sarah and has convinced me to hate Sarah?

Fox News is the only station that treats conservative reasonably fair. Who at Fox is panning Sarah. Maybe Gretta – I think she kinda leans left. Maybe O’Reilly?

Personally, I don’t watch much network news anymore – its a waste of time. I can make up my own mind. Put it this way, I will start to decide whether Sarah has become skilled enough to get the job done on the first day Sarah is attacked when running for President. I can’t really decide yet because its too early in the battle.

How she handles that first attack situation will say a lot about whether her advisors are strong and whether she has honed her defensive counter attack skills enough to capture the centrist vote. Maybe the centrists will break right this time and it won’t matter. That’s all I am saying.

      • She has a tremendous amount of “intellectual gun powder”. You are either unable or unwilling to listen to her message. No worries though. There are plenty who are able and willing to listen, understand and act.

      • Anonymous

So vote for someone else, then.

        • Jackyl

I wrote “However, she has not been able to “Wow” me with political adeptness yet.” Note the word “yet”.

I don’t know who will run yet so I am not committed to any candidate. I want to win and will evaluate all candidates as objectively as possible. If Sarah shows moxy and political skill to turn the press on themselves, she’ll get my vote. Sarah will be a candidate if she want to. She’s lead candidate if she wants, but that won’t stop me from trying to be as objective about her as I am able.

I can be emotional in some of my posts also so I can’t blame you. And quit frankly, the fact that so many people reacted so emotionally to my post says something in an of itself.

Let’s just hope the centrists learned there lesson with “commie boy” – to the rescue! He rescued us right into a massive inflationary depression!

      • You must be kidding. Sarah Palin has been the one that has kept the conservative message on the for front these past two years and no one I mean no one has paid the price and faced the adversity she has, and the scrutiny yet she remains standing and her integrity intact. Sarah Palin worked harder than any of the others and is more responsible for the historic midterm election than any other potential candidates. You can’t even compare Bachmann to Palin. She has been through the fire, and is prepared to lead.

      • 36763

Actually, Palin is the smartest of the lot. Only a political genius could
withstand the onslaught heaped upon her. It’s unprecedented and tells me a
lot about the medial culture, the GOP establishment who have failed to
defend Palin, and how much courage Palin has.

I like Bachmann but she comes off as a panderer and too wooden. Too much
like the tax attorney she really is and less like the convincing trial
lawyer that the jury wants to listen to as she makes the case against the
        left.

BTW, I’d get elected President before Bachmann. Hardly anyone but us
political nerds know who she is.

        • Jackyl

Well the fact that Palin is still standing after the onslaught heaped on her does say a lot, I agree. It’s also great practice for her to help steal her emotionally against their lie delivered through the DNC propaganda press (CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, etc.)

Bachmann is a bit wooden. But I think that can be a strength with centrist voters.

I have posted before that I feel really good about the new conservative talent as we have not had this much strength in decades. We need more “real” conservatives and a reduction in the number of the brainwashed leftist voting public.

One thing is for sure, we will have some great choices for Pres and VP.

          • 36763

            Jackyl:

            I hope you’re right.

      • I think Bachman is a good canidate…..but I don’t she wouldn’t stand a chance against Palin/West. We really need our best for the 2012 and most support Palin, and those who don’t would support Allen West. I just makes a really tough team to beat in 2012.

    • Jackyl

I like your thinking. Either would be a dream ticket. How much would either of these tickets scare the US Bolsheviks? Just watch and listen. Their fear will be measured in direct proportion to the extent to which they do protest!

Thanks RS for the viewing of the great speech by Governor Sarah Palin.

I think the progessives are going to double down on the hate of this remarkable woman if that is at all possible.

Last night she gave a speech in front of over 8000 God fearing women and today she went into the body of the hate to give a speech.

The 8000 women were probably more scary than the bunch of thugs in WI.

I think they started to quiet down a bit. I wonder if some of them decided to listen?

  • Sarah Palin’s short speech was awesome. Wow. I can’t wait to watch it again, but I felt the power of her words. She is a force of nature, that is for sure.

Sarah Palin is showing leadership and courage; as usual

    • I’m disappointed that she didn’t name names when she criticized the GOP Establishment & their lowering of the amount that would be cut from $100B to an embarrassing low of less than $1B in her speech. She shoulda taken Boehner, Cantor, etc. to the woodshed right then & there, & said that she hoped they will get Primaried next year

WOW……..WOW…..What a Great Speech from Our Next President of USA in 2012; The Only ONE, Sarah Palin….

    • Anonymous

      Is that sarcasm?

  • teabagger1

Amazing what you can do with microphones! Take it from someone who was there – the teabaggers were embarrassingly out-numbered and out-voiced! If you were there in the crowd you couldn’t hear a word of her rhetoric and BS! Everyone who was there will have to watch the home version on FOX, complete with palm trees and snowflakes!

    • people who go to another person’s rally and desperately try to physically drown out their voice must be REALLY afraid of that person- or else why go to the trouble of doing that? we know she scares the crap out of the left. deny it all you want but it’s clear as day. we love it when she scares the idiots on the left.

Jasmine- I read on another site, that a guy had filled a plastic jug with coins and continually shook it thru out Sarah’s speech. Can you believe how rude that was? I mean how totally juvenille!

Rude? Ha! I call that brilliant. Freedom of speech also. Ever hear of that idea come out of Palin’s dumb ass mouth?

Juvenile? All of you repugnitards are juvenile if you think some cute little half-time governor from Alaska is anywhere near smart enough to run this country. She is stupid, an attention-whore, and a vile-spewing, greedy ignoramus. Apparently, compared to the rest of you, she is a genius.

Let me just say this about the current field looking to be president in the GOP. There was ONLY ONE this weekend who went to the heart of ground zero for debates, with the enemy surrounding her and gave a speech to the Tea Party and the conservatives of this country. Sarah Palin. While all the others have been going to the ‘safe’ havens to make speeches, she went and confronted the haters head on. Not to mention pointed directly to the media, the established republicans and the president to do their job or get out of the way!!!

Tell me again why she is NOT qualified to lead this country?

Who knows, maybe they are promising her she will be Romney’s running mate. Listen to Bachmann closely and you will notice a lot of double talk and many times loose with facts.

Thank you Mrs. Palin for your courage, your energy and your determination to turn this country back to the values I knew and cherish. Bless you all for enabling me to hear these words. I feel every American should hear these words. God bless America -the land that I love.

I sure wish Palin had a strong stand against illegal aliens and for American Sovereignty. She has not entered into this arena which concerns many of the States and ultimately America.

She would be a great contender for President if she believed those who violate our laws are subject to the sanctions of those laws. The security of America is dependent on our ability to secure our borders and address the problems which have been created by decades of non-enforcement.

But for the above item I believe Palin would be a great President. Without addressing the above item she would be a short lived President over a crumbling nation because America is on the verge of dissolution and needs immediate attention.

    frjm

    • C Mill

Surely you jest. You have not been paying attention. She is the strongest on illegal aliens of anyone in the field. Look back at some of her recent interviews. She has many times referenced sealing the borders.

      • Anonymous

        You can’t be serious!!!!!.

I base my opinion on the interviews I have heard and the grade which Numbers USA gave her. Numbers USA is a website which monitors the activities of all politicians and reports their pros and cons concerning immigration and illegal immigration. Numbers gave her a D- based on current comments made or not made by her.

I went back to four different interviews and noted that; on April 27th 2010 she agreed with the purpose of Arizonas’ SB1070 thats a +, on Oct 24, 2008 she was for a pathway to citizenship thats a -, Dec 4, 2009 she was against amnesty thats a +, and on July 10, 2010 she was for a pathway to anmesty thats a -. All in All I conclude she isn’t sure what she would do. And that is my problem as I stated earlier.

Simply stating she will secure the borders is no more than what McCain said and I do not accept that as a plan. Since the current population of illegal aliens are a major problem for the tax payers (of which I am one) and many may even be terrorists, I want to know what she or any other potential candates have FIRMLY in store for the invaders. NO WISHY WASHY responses.

        frjm

  • I knew Obama was trouble after his ’04 DNC speech. Even back then, the media was foaming at the mouth…
…of course, who knew then that during the ’08 election cycle, many members of the media would actively conspire to suppress news exposing Obama for who he really is…and that they would go so far as to create a listing of themselves they called The Journ“O”List! I think every member on that list should have an asterisk by their name, FOREVER IDENTIFYING THEM and their conduct AS TREASONOUS.
BTW, the “O” in Journ“O”List actually stood for “O”bama. Sick…

This was not a typical speech by Palin this was a very hardcore charismatic campaign speech. This speech was as close as one can get to saying, “I am running for President” without an official announcement. There is no way you can listen to this speech and still question whether or not she is running in 2012. Did you also notice how she threw massive bombs of the GOP Establishment and House Speaker John Boehner in particular? She has set herself as not only as the anti-GOP Establishment populist but as the anti-Obama candidate as well. Name another major GOP 2012 candiadate who laid so many bombs on John Boehner. She is consoldating not only the Tea Party but is also going after all those pissed at Boehner as well.

I just couldn’t resist you left your self wide open for that lol

          • SolomonStandish

Admitted; but in that “cat” comment, I was actually trying to raise a caveat to her candidacy for President: It’s not enough to be able to articulate a compelling objection to Barack Obama’s policies. Even if you are spot on in what you think, body language, including the voice, is a very informative indicator of a person’s maturity and wisdom. I used to pick juries for a living. Look at 7:15 when she says: “That’s wut wur gunna DU.” There is hatred in her voice. Look at that whole section where she talks about kowtowing to our enemies. I think she would hit Obama with a crow bar if she could get away with it, and that disturbs me.

            • Dan

Why? Because Sarah is as real as can be there is no fake about her.
And she dose not talk down to anyone she says what’s on her mind.
She loves her family and is deeply in love with her husband Todd.
Sometimes wisdom is way better than smarts but when you add smarts to wisdom you have a leader that’s what I see in Sarah

            • Why is the Left always fixated on projecting violent imagery onto their political opponents? I find this to be very disturbing.

line to hit barry with a crow bar too, if they could get away with it.

I would LOVE to have the popcorn concession for THAT line, by the way.

I could retire VERY, VERY soon I’m sure.

And the line WOULD still be there.

              And Barry DISTURBS me.

        • Anonymous

Her voice does get shrill at the top registers. Try to listen to the content.

  • In the famous words of John Lennon, IMAGINE a male candidate (or potential candidate) speaking the words this women is speaking. HE would be popular beyond words. I wish some of the GOP “hopefuls” would/could fight like this “girl”. I think we are fools to allow the lame stream media to define this woman. I think we are fools to not support here with everything we got. I’m ashamed of so-called conservative/republican/whatevers that are putting Donald Trump at the top of the pools. WTF is right. WTF is wrong with people. Absolutely NOBODY else in the running comes close to the integrity and power of this woman.

  • When it comes to Governor Sarah Palin, there’s just something about her that drives some on the right and people on the left nuts. God only knows what that is. Every time, no matter what ideology, people use the same argument over and over and over again when discussing Sarah Palin. Frankly, it gets very annoying.

Whether its she’s a quitter, or she is unelectable, or the most famous argument is that she’s stupid. They say she is un-intellectual when those who disagree with her or can’t stand her can’t come up with a logical fact to try and convince someone why they shouldn’t support her. This woman is smart, a self made success that everyone wishes they were, and yes, she can beat President Obama.

    • I agree. I don’t think I’ve ever had to argue 3 years against a stupid person to win an argument. I don’t think I’ve ever had to keep telling people that you won’t elect someone when I already believe you won’t elect them. And I’ve never had to remind people that a certain someone is a quitter because she’s still around and just won’t quit.

I’ve given up trying to figure out the logic that the Left uses.

      • Anonymous

THe left has no logic when it comes to Sarah Palin so they resort to what they know best-personal attacks, drive-by smears (look at the trolls that come out from under the bridge at the mere mention of her name) and unsubstantiated claims.

      • GK

I think it is not ‘logic’ that the Left uses. They simply follow old political strategies and tactics codified by Lenin after his explusion by the Tsar from Russia (prior to his return for the Bolshevik revolution). _Professional_ Left operatives and agitators (such as the Bolsheviks guided by Lenin) simply target and character assasinate effective opponents, when they are unable to physically assasinate them. Think about it this way, we are fighting against coordinated Leftist/Socialist machine politics, not against disorganised individual union members or Leftist supporters. After all, when was the last time that you heard a Leftist/Socialist make an _original_ criticism of Palin? I bet you can’t! All you will hear is the same old Party Line over and over again! The same old organisation!

BTW I believe Mahatma Ghandi had the same political ability as Palin, to connect directly with _his_ great unwashed audience! (Churchill dismissed Ghandi as “that naked fakhir”)

So, let’s see, Typocrat. People on this page are trying to have a substantive discussion about Obama’s policies and Palin’s potential as a presidential candidate. You make some ludicrous comment about the clouds urinating on the speaker; you get banned; you change one letter of your name, you come back, and now you are trying to suck me into a side show. She sounds like the cats I remember f*****g on the back porch at Grandma’s house when I was a little kid. You thought they were killing each other, but they were just making more cats.

          • SolomonStandish

Actually, it was vulgarity, not profanity; and we both crossed that line. The difference is, I made a vulgar analogy to cats in heat to illustrate the animal spirits to which SP is appealing. You had the clouds metaphorically pissing on her from the heavens. The first vulgarity was substantive, and illustrative or a point about Sarah Palin. I was trying to say that for all her sentiments, she is actually animated by some pretty negative emotional baggage (which is understandable, when you thing of what people like Katie Couric and Tina Fey put her through). I am not trying to offend you or put myself above you at all, sir, when I say that your vulgar comment was just a gratuitous expression of your own personal hostility to Sarah Palin. It was utterly lacking in empathy for the woman and it contributed nothing to the question whether she is emotionally fit to be the President. And that’s why I criticized your remark. Perhaps you will think about what I’ve said. I’m done. God bless.

            • typocrat

The use of vulgar, profane language and you called that substantive discussion to discuss SP’s presidential candidacy? I called you out. You’re done. God bless.

Now maybe I missed it, but aren’t you two on the same lefty side? You guys are out-numbered here. You gotta stick together better than this….

                • typocrat

Playing his own game, I fooled Solomon to reveal his true colours. Typocrat is no typicrat, I have much regards and esteem for SP and no one should get away mud slinging our female conservative candidate in this forum with such vulgar sexism comment without being challenged and called out. I hope others would do the same. Sorry, Rich, if I misled you too, ’twas somewhat amusing to engage the lefty.

SP’s recent foreign diplomacy trip to India and Israel warming up to this event, if the level of enthusiasm and responses in this post and blogosphere are of any indication of the momentum that SP generated; with nationwide support from grassroot tea party, center-right, Reganite republicans and independents; coupled with a solid platform to launch for 2012, I say Game On!

IF Sarah Plain runs for President and IF she makes it out of the primaries, the smart thing for her to do would be to ask someone like Daniels or Pawlenty to be her VP. Assuming, that is, they get far enough without any huge blunders that puts them in pariah status. Gaffe’s and scandals will come into play, so it all depends on who is still left standing at the end of the primaries. Remember, these are Republicans were talking about here, so nobody will get away with a John Edwards style cover-up.

Don’t ever underestimate the Republican Establishment. Krauthammer, Rove, the Bush camp, the NRO crowd, and quasi-conservative bloggers like Ed Morrissey (through Allahpundit) and his ilk will not stop their attacks on Palin even if she gets the nomination. BUT, putting someone like Daniels or Pawlenty on the ticket would hinder their ability to go after her in the guise of being honest, truthful “journalists”. That would be the best way to neuter them.

I’m not saying either Daniels or Pawlenty would accept. My guess is that Daniels isn’t man enough to take a VP slot with Palin. He’s also short, so those visuals would be too hysterically funny for words even if he did decide to accept. Now that I think about it, Daniels would be a terrible choice just for the visual aspect. Can you picture a joint campaign appearance? I have no idea if Pawlenty would take it. I don’t know enough about him yet. But someone along their lines would be the best way to shut up the Roves of the GOP establishment.

that is stupid. we tried that with Reagan/bush and after reagan’s 8 years the rinos couldn’t wait a day before they started to backpedal on Reagan’s polices.

I’ve heard two great speeches today. One from Sarah Palin from here in Wis and the other from Allen West in Fla. These two would make a great ticket for the GOP in 2012. We don’t need a blow hard, that we have been hearing from recently, or we don’t need another Rino republican. It is too late to even listen to the establishment – we need someone who will take the issues to the left and force results. Too late for politics as usual. This country is going down the tubes with high debt, high energy cost, high unemployment and too many people looking for hand-outs at the expense of tax payers. Liberals are fun to listen to when they are out of power and whining but are very dangerous with a little power–we must defeat them not negoiate with them–just look at the last agreement to cut the budget – what a deal-reduce less than 1-hour’s worth of gov spending.

Sarah Palin point fingers at everyone that she blames for the problems of our country only if there is a “D” after there name. What about old George Bush who pissed the countries money away on war and non bid contacts for his oil buddies. When is Sarah Palin the weather girl going to offer a solution for the problems she blames everyone with a “D”. The same way she ran Alaska. Just run away.

“Sarah Palin point fingers at everyone that she blames for the problems of our country only if there is a “D” after there name.”

Oh Sam darlin, Palin beat the republican elites up side the head before she took Dumb-Ø to the woodshed. Hey, Rush has been talking about these great new hearing aids on his show lately. Oh, calm down little Sammy.

I can tell by your uninformed whining that you didn’t watch the video and that you have no idea of Governor Palin’s past of taking on the GOP.

Palin did this in her speech yesterday and has a history of calling out the Republican party when she disagrees with them. Which in Alaska happened to be most of the time.

Palin ousted a sitting GOP governor in a primary on her way to becoming governor of Alaska. Can you name another current or former governor that took on their own party and defeated the incumbent in a primary? You will probably have to Google that one because I doubt you can think of another off the top of your head.

Sounds like you could use a history lesson on Palin instead of relying on DNC and MSM talking points for your information. When you repeat lies and distortions like this it makes you look like a fool. Please name me another politician from either party that has taking on their own party more than Palin?

Also, weather girl? That type of sexist remark says much more about you than your entire uninformed rant about Palin and the GOP.

    • Anonymous

      It’s “their”. Not there.

Sarah Palin’s first job in the media was not as a “weather girl”. She was a sports reporter. Keith Olbermann’s claim to fame is as a baseball card collector. You must really despise him, huh?

    • enufisaenuf

Most of the country’s problems today have been created by what tyou call the “D’s”. The rest of our issues were created by the rinos. The Democrats have this “enemies list” — denominated in epithets aimed at the people whose wallets they wish to hijack and take up residence inside. You can be a “Racist!” and you can be a “Homophobe!” and you can be a “Teabagger!” — a homosexual man taking his partner’s scrotum into his mouth. You can be “Selfish!” and you can be a “Wacko!” and you can be a “Hick!” and you can be a “Rube!” and you can be an “Extremist!” You can be a “Right-wing-nut!” and you can be “Mentally Ill” and you can be “Deranged!” and you can be a “Warmonger!” and you can be “Unenlightened!” and you can be a “FatCat!” and you can be a “Nazi!” and you can be a “Fascist!” — although no one more closely approaches the precise description of “Nazi!” or “Fascist!” than the usual Demo propagandist — either official, or self-appointed.

So all you have to do to occupy multiple epithets on the Demos’ enemies list is to insist that they take their hands off yourself, off your wallet, off your property, off your kids, off your diet, off your healthcare, off your household appliances, off your car, off your bank account, off your weapons of self-defense, off your liberty, and off your freedom of speech. Insist on all these good things – and that qualifies you to be spat upon by nasty, mean-spirited scxm — by The Friends of All Mankind — by a gang of lying, thieving, dope-smoking, pill-popping, coke-snorting, sticky-fingered, bloodsxcking, tax-eating, gun-stealing, predatory humanitarian thugs — by the Democrat party, in other words. No political party in the history of America more profoundly deserves absolute and outright destruction.

  • Alamitos Bay

OhBummer is a b_0-0_b and a fool for attacking the American Tea Partiers. Heck, he thought that he had all of us hoodwinked, hornswoggled, and bamboozled. He’s annoyed that the Tea Partiers are not grateful to him for hijacking the American healthcare system — the greatest act of vandalism perpetrated upon the American people since a gang of jihadi frootloops and loonytoons hijacked some planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center towers — and the Pentagon, and made a failed attempt to crash into the White House — and instead drilled a hole in a Pennsylvania farm thanks to some very courageous American passengers.

And — now widely seen for what he is — the president presents a problem for the Democrat-captured media. They pump out his propaganda for him — and, like the opinion monitors in Ayn Rand’s novel, “Atlas Shrugged” — they are dodging brickbats and rotten vegetables.

    He’s pompous, pampered, and pretentious — a pseudo-intellectual fop. He’s a glorified, smooth-lyin’ dandy, and slicker than Sick Willie Clinton. He’s a dictator-on-the-make, a bloodsxcking, predatory humanitarian thug, and a low-down skunk.

He’s a fraud and a swindler. He lies when he inhales and he lies when he exhales; his oxygen is the falsification of reality. He lies, placidly and laconically, as if deception were a soporific drug.

He’s a friend of the poor and the downtrodden — indeed, you can hear the milk of human kindness sloshing around inside of him when he walks.

He declares himself the post-racial leader — “Let me be clear!” he intones — and he hides behind his race, daring his critics to put their reputation for fairness at risk.

He pauses to ponder the portent of his propaganda — and it is fakery; he smiles and his mendacity comes shining through. Shake hands with Barak Hushpuppy OhBummer — “The Mistake of ‘08” — the illegal alien squatter in the White House — and America’s first and last Arab president. Now count your fingers.

SPARKS FROM WYATT’S TORCH… [See the movie “Atlas Shrugged,” in theaters now]

What this country needs is a truly LIBERAL president and congress and judiciary! And I forgive the reader for suspecting that this must be some kind of bad joke!

But the Democrats believe in “statism” — not “liberalism.”

They benefit from the imprecise American political terminology —- we say “the government” here in the USA —- rather than “the state.” And that’s a dangerous problem. Famous brands of statism in recent centuries have been Nazism, socialism, fascism, communism, and welfare statism —- this last is sort of a mix of fascism and socialism.

Liberalism, on the other hand, is a political philosophy of small, cheap government —- it is a constabulary —- and the job of a liberal government is to enforce human rights within its own jurisdiction. I speak of the unalienable and perfectly-natural and universally-valid human rights of life, liberty, private property, and the pursuit of personal happiness.

The first article of private property is “the self” and all other rights are derivatives of and flow from these cardinal rights. These rights —- The Rights of Man —- are the gift of nature or of nature’s god —- and they belong to all human beings, everywhere.

Show me a Democrat who subscribes to all of the above, without qualifications or weasel words. The words “liberal” and “liberalism” were hijacked by the Democrats and socialists and fascists long ago —- and it was the mistake of conservatives and libertarians to let them get away with it.

It is long past time that liberalism be reclaimed, defined, and explained by its rightful owners —- by the champions of freedom, i.e.: not by Democrats.

Well, how about “progressivism?” Whuzzat?! “Cancer” is “progressive,” too. Isn’t “progressivism” just another statist cancer? It chews you up, piece by piece, in the name of Da Peepul? Eat Da Rich? Moral cannibalism, anyone?

Friends of freedom! Friends of peace-through-strength! And friends of prosperity! Declare yourselves to be “liberals,” then —- and kick over the bloody coffee tables — and overthrow and trounce the Democrats in 2012!

SAM ADAMS IS MORE THAN JUST A GREAT YANKEE BEER!

TAX HATER SAMUEL ADAMS, ON A ROLL AND ARMED TO THE TEETH, AUGUST, 1776……

“You darkeners of counsel, who would make the property, lives and religion of millions depend on the evasive interpretations of musty parchments; who would send us to antiquated charters of uncertain and contradictory meaning, to prove that the present generation are not bound to be victims to cruel and unforgiving despotism, tell us whether our pious and generous ancestors bequeathed to us the miserable privilege of having the rewards of our honesty, industry, the fruits of those fields which they purchased and bled for, wrested from us at the will of men over whom we have no check.

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, What should be the reward of such sacrifices? Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, and supplicate the friendship, and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If you love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom – go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

“Courage, then, my countrymen, our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to mankind an asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty. Dismissing, therefore, the justice of our cause, as incontestable, the only question is, What is best for us to pursue in our present circumstances?”

“It does not take a majority to prevail….but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

“Among the natural rights of the colonists are these: first a right to life, secondly to liberty, and thirdly to property; together with the right to defend them in the best manner they can.”

“The Constitution shall never be construed… to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”

Looking out over the horizon at Republican candidacy, Pence is not running, otherwise a credible winning ticket, Trump will win the popularity contest handsdown regardless. Gingrich in perpetual (in)fidelity penance, Romney is rewriting RomneyCare history, Huckabee considers not running with limited campaign finance, Cain, a good candidate yet lack of the requisite gubernatorial/senatorial political experience to be presidential, Pawlenty’s national stature remains in junior league and, the last and the least, Huntsman an outlier looking in.

The winning tickets will need to have a broader appeal to both the tea party grassroot, center/left/right Reblublicans and independents voters base. IMO, the best tickets:- Palin/Ryan, or Palin/West (Ryan, if not running, Treasury Secretary).

Governor Palin: Video and Transcript of the Tax Day Tea Party Speech in Madison, Wisconsin
    Posted on April 17 2011 – 2:37 PM – Posted by: Sheya

The Governor posted the following on her Facebook page:
I was honored to be in Madison, Wisconsin, yesterday with a group of strong patriots willing to rough the snow and cold to stand together in solidarity. You can see a video of the speech here and below is a transcript.
    – Sarah Palin
Hello Madison, Wisconsin! You look good. I feel like I’m at home. This is beautiful. Madison, I am proud to get to be with you today. Madison, these are the frontlines in the battle for the future of our country. This is where the line has been drawn in the sand. And I am proud to stand with you today in solidarity.
I am here today as a patriot, as a taxpayer, as a former union member, and as the wife of a union member. What I have to say today I say it to our good patriotic brothers and sisters who are in unions. I say this, too, proudly standing here as the daughter of a family full of school teachers. My parents, my grandparents, aunt, cousins, brother, sister – so many of these good folks are living on teachers’ pensions, having worked or are still working in education.
A pension is a promise that must be kept. Now, your Governor Scott Walker understands this. He understands that states must be solvent in order to keep their promises. And that’s what he’s trying to do. He’s not trying to hurt union members. Hey, folks, he’s trying to save your jobs and your pensions! But unfortunately some of your union bosses don’t understand this, and they don’t care if union members have to be laid off. No, they want to protect their own power, and if that means forcing a governor to lay off union workers, then so be it; they’ve proven that that is fine with them. But that’s not real solidarity! Real solidarity means coming together for the common good. This Tea Party movement is real solidarity!
Well, I am in Madison today because this is where real courage and real integrity can be found. Courage is your governor and your legislators standing strong in the face of death threats and thug tactics. Courage is you all standing strong with them! You saw the forces aligned against fiscal reform. You saw the obstruction and the destruction. You saw these violent rent-a-mobs trash your capital and vandalize businesses.
Madison, you held your ground. Your governor did the right thing. And you won. Your beautiful state won. And you know what – people still have their jobs because of it! That’s courage. And that’s integrity. And that’s something that’s sorely missing in the Beltway today.
Because let me tell you what isn’t courageous: It’s politicians promising the American voters that, as we drown in $14.5 trillion debt, that they’re going to cut $100 billion out of this year’s budget. But then they cave on that and they reduce it down to $61 billion after they get elected. Then they get in there and they strike a deal and decide, nah, they will reduce that down to $38 billion. And then after some politics-as-usual and accounting gimmicks, we find out it’s not $38 billion in cuts. You know that $38 billion – we don’t have it; we’re borrowing it. We borrow from foreign countries to give to foreign countries, and that’s insanity. We find out it’s not even $38 billion; it’s less than $1 billion in real cuts. Folks, that $352 million in real cuts – that’s no more than the federal government is going to spend in the time it takes us to hold this rally today! That is not courage; that’s capitulation!
Now, there’s a lesson here for the Beltway politicos, something they need to understand; the lesson comes from here in Madison. So, our lesson is to the GOP establishment first. And yeah, I’ll take on the GOP establishment. What more can they say about us, you know?
So, to the GOP establishment: if you stand on the platform, if you stand by your pledges, we will stand with you. We will fight with you, GOP. We have your back. Together we will win because America will win!
We didn’t elect you just to re-arrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic. We didn’t elect you to just stand back and watch Obama re-distribute those deck chairs. What we need is for you to stand up, GOP, and fight. Maybe I should ask some of the Badger women’s hockey team—those champions—maybe I should ask them if we should be suggesting to GOP leaders they need to learn how to fight like a girl!
And speaking of President Obama, I think we ought to pay tribute to him today at this Tax Day Tea Party because really he’s the inspiration for why we’re here today.
That’s right. The Tea Party Movement wouldn’t exist without Barack Obama.
You see, Candidate Obama didn’t have a record while he was in office; but President Obama certainly has a record, and that’s why we’re here. And hey, media, it’s not inciting violence and it’s not hateful rhetoric to call someone out on their record, so that’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to do it to be clear. That’s right: we’re here, we’re clear, get used to it!
Candidate Obama promised to be fiscally responsible. He promised to cut the deficit; but President Obama tripled it!
Candidate Obama promised that fiscal responsibility; but President Obama flushed a trillion dollars down the drain on a useless “stimulus” package and then he bragged about the jobs he “created” in congressional districts that don’t even exist! That’s right; on this, White House, you lie. The only thing that trillion-dollar travesty stimulated was a debt-crisis and a Tea Party!
Now, the left’s irresponsible and radical policies awakened a sleeping America so that we understood finally what it was that we were about to lose. We were about to lose the blessings of liberty and prosperity. They caused the working men and women of this country to get up off their sofas, to come down from the deer stand, get out of the duck blind, and hit the streets, come to the town halls, and finally to the ballot box. And Tea Party Americans won an electoral victory of historic proportions last November. We the people, we rose up and we decisively rejected the left’s big government agenda. We don’t want it. We can’t afford it. And we are unwilling to pay for it.
But what was the president’s reaction to this mandate for fiscal sanity?
Less than 90 days after the election, in his State of the Union address, President Obama told us, nah, the era of big government is here to stay, and we’re going to pay for it whether we want to or not. Instead of reducing spending, they’re going to “Win The Future” by “investing” more of your hard-earned money in some cockamamie harebrained ideas like more solar shingles, more really fast trains – some things that venture capitalists will tell you are non-starters. We’re flat broke, but he thinks these solar shingles and really fast trains will magically save us. So now he’s shouting “all aboard” his bullet train to bankruptcy. “Win The Future”? W.T.F. is about right.
And when Wisconsin’s own Paul Ryan presented a plan for fiscal reform, what was Obama’s response? He demonized the voices of responsibility with class warfare and with fearmongering. And I say personally to our president: Hey, parent to parent, Barack Obama, for shame for you to suggest that the heart of the commonsense conservative movement would do anything to harm our esteemed elders, to harm our children with Down syndrome, to harm those most in need. No, see, in our book, you prioritize appropriately and those who need the help will get the help. The only way we do that is to be wise and prudent and to budget according to the right priorities.
Now, our president isn’t leading, he’s punting on this debt crisis. The only future Barack Obama is trying to win is his own re-election! He’s willing to mortgage your children’s future to ensure his own. And that is not the audacity of hope. That’s cynicism!
Piling more debt onto our children and grandchildren is not courage. No, that’s cowardice!
But did you notice when he gave that polarizing speech last week there was a little gem in the speech. Maybe you missed it. But he spoke about the social contract and the “social compact.” Well, Mr. President, the most basic tenet in that social compact is adhering to the consent of the governed. That would be “We the People.” President Obama, you do not have our consent. You didn’t have it in November. And you certainly don’t have it now. You willfully ignored the will of the American people.
You ignored it when you rammed through Obamacare.
You ignored it when you drove up the debt to $14.5 trillion.
You ignored it when you misrepresented your deficit spending.
You ignored it when you proposed massive tax increases on the middle class and our job creators.
You ignored is when you went to bat for government-funded abortions and yet you threw our brave men and women in uniform under the bus, Mr. Commander in Chief.
You ignored it when you got us into a third war for fuzzy and inconsistent reasons, a third war that we cannot afford.
You ignore it when you apologize for America while you bow and kowtow to our enemies, and you snub our allies like Israel.
And you ignore when you manipulate the U.S. oil supply. You cut off oil development here and then you hypocritically praise foreign countries for their drilling.
And when hardworking families are hit with $4 and $5 a gallon gas and your skyrocketing energy and food prices as you set out to fundamentally transform America, you ignore our concerns and you tell us we just better get used to it.
Well, Mr. President, we’re not going to get used to it. Not now. Not ever. You ignored us in 2010. But you cannot ignore us in 2012.
Mr. President, you and your cohorts threw all the hatred and all the violence you could at these good folks in Madison, Wisconsin. But you lost here.
And Madison, you defended the 2010 electoral mandate. You are heroes, you are patriots, and when the history of this Tea Party Movement is written, what you accomplished here will not be forgotten.
Your historic stand brought down the curtain on the last election. And the 2012 election begins here.
We will take the courage and the integrity that you showed all of America. We will take it and we will win back our country!
God has shed His grace on thee, America. We will not squander what we have.
We will fight for America! And it starts here in Madison, Wisconsin!
It starts here! It starts now! What better place than the state that hosts the Super Bowl champs, to call out the liberal left and let them know: Mr. President, game on!
God bless you, Wisconsin, and God bless America!

    Very Happy Birthday, Trig Palin….

    God Bless You Always, Trig….

  • I have to do this-

I’m not a Palin fan because her normal speeches aren’t that great, but this speech was so GREAT-

She rocked the sh&t out of this. This woman belongs on the battlefield- she has more nads than most politicians out there…… this completely turned around my opinion of her speaking abilities—-it turns out, she needs the right muse. In the middle of what looked like a snowstorm, she came alive. She was good.

If she can keep up this kind of vibrancy, then I will question my own perceptions about her ability to win an election.

  • Ann Bartley

Trial by fire she came through triamphant, didn’t retreat but reload to answer the battle calls right back. Akin to Reagan’s spirit, unconventional but genuine character and authentic leadership.

American at the crossroad, we need patriot braveheart leadership to lead, to serve and to steer the nation back in the right direction of constitutional and fiscally responsible governance. She will have a strong team along side of her to win the race for 2012. Through the battle rage, I’ll stand with her, pray for her and cheer her on…

  • Timetobetrue

Sarah Palin has made suckers out of all you fans. She has enriched herself with her silly speeches, throwing around cliches that she doesn’t even understand, but sound good to you sheep that follow her.
Long may she make fools out of you!
Mrs. Tawdry and her sleaze ridden family laughing all the way to the bank.

And, Another America-hating OBOMMUNIST heard from!

Looks like O-shit has made a fool of you, Numbnuts!

How’s all that hope and change workin’ out for ya, Moron?

    • Persephone

      No.
Obama has made a sucker…out of You.

Name one campaign promise that he has kept.

And don’t even bring up Obamacare.
That was supposed bring down the cost of our healthcare.
      …It hasn’t.
We were supposed to be able to keep our current healthcare insurance.
…Obamacare has already caused our premiums to skyrocket.
Even Obama’s buddies don’t like it.
…They started screaming about it….and he gives them a Waiver, to exempt them from it.
So far, about 1200 Waivers have been granted to Obama’s chosen ones, Unions and Companies that give him campaign contributions.
Just wait till that hits the fan.

Obama is acting like a 3rd world dictator!

And he is laughing at how easy it was to fool you.
