    SOOOO Much stuff

    SOOOO little time

PRAVDA SAYS: AMERICA, ‘Never give up your guns’…

  • PVG

Who needs facts when you are a lib?

    • aposematic

I would say the libs are in desperate need of facts; however, facts do seem to confuse libs to the point of explosive rage and hysterical fits involving very vulgar language.

      • sjmom

That’s because it takes a good intellect to absorb facts.

    • bbitter

what they aren’t telling you is that their stats for ‘england’ do not include vast tracts of land inside the UK.

I lived in Sydney for 2 years, (guns are also banned there)… they reported only ONE murder in “Sydney” for the first year I was there… yet I lived in the slums and there were several just outside my apartment complex. Come to find out that the report for ‘Sydney’ only considered the city of ‘Sydney’ to be a one mile stretch of George St., and nothing beyond the actual street and sidewalks, everything else was considered a ‘suburb’.

…well then, I guess that could be accurate.

I would be interested to find out how the UK, with over 2K violent crimes per 100K, only had 53 gun-related murders.

      “Lies, damn lies, and statistics.”

      • ryanomaniac

I think it was Mark Twain who said Statistics are pliable, Facts are stubborn.

    • Don

Exactly right, PVG. Liberals actually think the truth is what they perceive it to be, instead of what the facts substantiate. That is why it is a mental disorder. It easily explains how Gore has amassed hundreds of millions of dollars by exploiting the liberal psyche with his total distrotions on global warming. Clint Eastwood is right that Obama is the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. Global warming is the biggest hoax perpetrated on the world.

  • Sandra123456

Refreshing, a local reporter committing factual investigative journalism. Guess he won’t be hired by any major Democrat news networks.

    • PicklePlants

I remember reporting like this! Whatever happened to it? This was fairly easy to do. The statistics he cited have been floating around the web for a few days now. I hope more reporters see the light and report the news.

  • Marky_D

Yeah, but facts are awkward and get in the way of a good ole fashioned socialist nanny state with its foot firmly on the citizen’s throat!

    • poljunkie

      Good to see you Marky!

  • Orangeone

Anyone see this? AZ gun dealers are challenging the rifle reporting requirements from Obama & Holder’s Fast and Furious gunwalking http://www.azcentral.com/news/politics/free/20130109arizona-gun-dealers-challenge-rifle-reporting-requirement.html

    • Didn’t see it, so thanks for posting it. It’s good we challenge this regime on every front!

      • Orangeone

What about this one Wolfie?  NRA going after Tuscon for destroying guns in by-back program.  “If property has been abandoned to the police, then they are required by ARS 12-945 to sell it to a federally licensed firearms dealer, and that’s exactly what they should do,”

        • Nope, I missed that one too. Bloody disgrace!

          • Orangeone

But don’t ya just love the NRA’s response? They are going to sue because those guns have to be resold.  I call this a great example of redistribution!

  • stage9

“While people like Morgan insist that the U.S. can learn from Great Britain — well maybe we can,” Swann concluded. “What we might learn is that violent crime is not the result of a gun or any tool — it is the result of the heart of men and women.”

    Someone’s listening.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

  • wales777

    More of this please!!!

    • bbitter

Refreshing, wasn’t it? Soon, networks will realize that this is how you get people to pay attention and watch – you report on reality, not on fantasy.

When I want fantasy, I pick up an epic-adventure novel with elves, fairies, wizards, demons, witches, and a brawny hero, where no good guy dies while legions of evil minions are slaughtered…

…I can’t watch MSNBC, it’s too unbelievable. Even fantasy has its limits.

  • white531

Facts do not worry Liberals the way they worry Conservatives. If a particular fact does not fit their agenda, they will change it, so that it does.

Lying, cheating, stealing, distorting of facts, Liberals have no problem with those things.

    The end, justifies the means.

    Understand your enemy.

    • NYGino

They can get away with it because most people are uninformed or misinformed.

Or simply don’t care and can’t be bothered.

    • physicsnut

Great advice – know thy enemy. Thanks to Yeltsin, we can learn what the hard left is about – see Richard Pipes “The Unknown Lenin”

      • white531

I know enough about the book, to put it on my list of things to read. It is controversial, to say the least. But then, anything the Liberals don’t like, is controversial, no?

Thanks for the post, physicsnut. I really needed another research project. 🙂

Just kidding, of course. New members like yourself, have enriched this site tenfold.

  • sjmom

Great reporting by Ben. He really clarified the gun crime issue and showed even though the US has more gun ownership we have less violent crime. Perhaps, gun ownership is THE reason we do. So Obama, stuff it!

  • keyesforpres

That’s what I thought, that England did have a high crime rate even though most criminals may not be using guns.

One has to wonder if those gun victims would have died if they had been able to be armed.

    • bbitter

The most violent member of the EU, 2K+ REPORTED violent crimes per 100K, and they ONLY had 53 gun deaths?

      I call big, fat, BS.

There’s an excellent chance that the 53 deaths reported consist of half self-defense, and half murder. Remember, during the riots last year everyone was scrambling to get their hands on anything to defend themselves? Yeah, there are more guns there than we might think.

  • Ray

Forget Piers Morgan, read Burke instead. Your IQ will go up at least 10 points!

    • bbitter

lol. Burke is good, but let’s not forget that you can learn very, very valuable things from a negative example, and that’s where Piers really shines.

Alright class, here is exhibit #1; an exquisite example of extreme stupidity and prejudice tied with self-importance, lies, money, and public exposure. Please equip your safety glasses and only view for short durations, as long exposure can cause great pain and loss of cognitive ability, and has been proven to cause cancer in the state of California…

  • msverde1

Don’t we all love facts. Numbers don’t lie, but interpretation of them certainly prevaricates and obFUscates them to the nth degree. Boy, how I so much adore the [Piers Morganless-infused] unadulterated facts. Thank God for the rule of commonsense!!

    • bbitter

Ten likes to you, my friend, for the use of the words: Prevaricate and Obfuscate.

  • nibblesyble

I am loving me some Ben Swan right now!

  • Landscaper

    Memo to Piers:
Americans tie boats to piers. So your first name is a dock?
The Brits lost the war. We beat them with guns and guts.
    Your country is an island.
The Queen is old, ugly and has bad taste in clothes.
    We don’t like you.
Go back home to adore your Royals.
    Sincerely, Americans

    • Hey Landscaperfriend! Haven’t seen you in a while. Hope you had a nice Christmas.

Piers is an idiot- but remember, even Britain doesn’t want him back. Colliemum, MarkyD and some others are from across the pond and love America, so please be nice 🙂

And not to make you feel too bad, but actually the Queen looks kind of like my mom. 🙂

Not messin’ with you this time, but I’m smiling as I write it.

      • poljunkie

My only issue with the Queen is she wasnt very nice to Princess Dianna. She seems to have cozied up to Kate and thats cool with me.

As far as Piers…he can go jump in the lake!

I dig the hats all of you British wear- so CollieMum and all of you … If there’s ever a wedding….

        I think you’re a brick!!!

        • I seemed to recall an old British friend back home once in a while used the term ducky when he talked about a girl. Just looked it up now lol and it seems I’ve got the perfect name 😀

          1 [duhk-ee]

          adjective, duck·i·er, duck·i·est. Informal.
          fine; excellent; wonderful.

          darling; charming; cute.

          ROFL!! I LOVE BRITS! 😀

PS- but I can’t stand Prince Charles!!! >:-(

          • poljunkie

            Ohhhh I detest Prince Charles.

But I do love the British! Everyone I have ever met has been charming and has been the type of person to loop their arm thru mine when walking.

(Like I did with my friends in junior high, laughing and walking….and I still do with a very few GF’s ive known for years and year and years….never see….but when we do….its like yesterday. )

            I love the descriptions. 🙂

I remember people saying everythings ducky as well!

Collemum said the other day that someone was the brick. AND I love that!

            • LOL- yes, I remember a friend called me a brick once lol. I’d rather be called ducky. :0) BUT at least no one’s yet called me a stupid git.

Sorry polsis- I get silly when I’m tired. Gotta get to bed. It’s after 2 again. Have a Blessed night girlie.

              • poljunkie

                G’night Ducky.

              • Rshill7

I have noticed that Colliemum uses the word “git” in a way I have never seen. I use the word git too. But when I use it, it’s southern for scram.

I’m not sure what she means by git when she uses it. If she sees this, maybe she’ll grace me with a proper translation.

                • git (ɡɪt) noun

a contemptible person, often a fool

“worthless person, British slang, a southern variant of Scottish get “illegitimate child, brat,” to beget as in ba$tard

                  Mornin’ myBear! 😀

    • RKflorida

I love the hats! I love the clothing! I have respect for the queen because I took the time to learn a little about her. I’m most sad at the decline of Britain and now the U.S.

Jeremy Clarkson has begged us to keep Piers as he is despised in England. Clarkson even punched him in the face not too long ago. (Jeremy Clarkson is one of the presenters on the Auto show “Top Gear”.)

  • sDee

As this closes in on us, this serves to remind me of true heroism, of the grit that made America.

    Tango Mike Mike

    Master Sargent Roy Benavides

Watch this second one through the end if you have time!

    (thanks john jay)

    • OH WOW sDee!!!!!! Thank you SO much for sharing that. I have no words except Lord I love our troops and Vets. Here is another hero I want to meet as soon as I get to heaven.
      Thank you.

      • sDee

You are most welcome! Incredible – I had to rewatch it.

  • After watching the recent interview with Larry Platt on Pierce Morgan tonight, and seeing the way that he ended it, I can fully understand that Morgan is a media hack. After AJ asked Morgan why he got fired for falsifying information in “his” country, it is quite clear to me that Morgan was brought into “our” MSM to play the British smart guy against our constitution and bill of rights. He isn’t just a leftist, if he is at all. He is just an actor, and a shill. He isn’t even a decent person when dealing with people he doesn’t agree with. Morgan called Larry Pratt a liar, but it is quite clear that Morgan is desperately pushing his lies in an attempt to keep his job, because he probably won’t have one if he were to return to “his” country.

  • tinlizzieowner

Piers Morgan ought to look into getting a job with ‘Al’s’ Jazzera. 😉 😉
Joy(less) Behar will look a whole lot better in a burka anyway.

  • Conniption Fitz

Ben Swann’s take-down of Piers Morgan great – a truth-fact journalist in action!

Hope he is as balanced and un-politically correct in all his reporting.

Hope he makes it to the big time on a new Conservative national/international network.

  • thumbs up

  • Ben, Ben, Ben – Why do all you Yanks always have to bring up facts when I’m trying to make a point? I mean how am I supposed to forward my agenda when you keep throwing facts around willy nilly? I think that it’s just irresponsible (and frustrating) when people go a look up the real numbers and use them against my make-believe fairytale land stats that I use.
I’m sorry to say this England, but he really needs to go home to you guys. But hey, look at the bright side, when he comes back you can throw him right in the clink for his phone tapping.

    • TimeForAnarchy

I think the French deserve him more than anyone……

  • WordsFailMe

Now watching re-run of the BBC mini-series, “The Tudors,” the back story on Henry the 8th.

It is uncanny to watch how the weak gave Henry what ever he wanted and the men with an agenda used the little tyrant to accomplish their aims. The Catholic Church wouldn’t give him what he wanted, so he just issued and executive order and the Catholics were gone. Hank had a penchant for new women and never gave up trying to get a legitimate son. Got tired of one woman, he convened a court and convicted her.

No wonder the dipstick Peerzed Mogun likes the pimp king of America.

    • TimeForAnarchy

When Henry died, his body lay in the Royal quarters for several days; the servants a Court members were scared to move it. Fascinating history.

Someone should ask Peeeers about the shenanigans that took place in the Tower. My ancestors were not as angelic as one might think.

      • WordsFailMe

As a person of Scots ancestry, I kin a-g-r-r-r-e-e-e with ye on your last point.;>)

        • TimeForAnarchy

Famous Scots saying: For God so loved Scotland, he gave us the most beautiful country on earth. And to give us humility, he gave us the English for neighbors.

  • well done and thank you

  • white531
    • “English teacher at Chapin High School was placed on leave as they investigate the incident.”

What’s to investigate? He did it in front of multiple witnesses and on several occasions. Why is he on “leave”? He should have been FIRED ON THE SPOT! He’s obviously got some sort of delusional deranged personality disorder (Libtardism) and is NOT safe to be around kids! Get him out of there and keep him out of schools!

      • Nukeman60

Of course, with our teacher’s unions, ‘placed on leave’ means with pay. Get rid of the unions and we can clean out the scum at the bottom.

        • Oh AMEN!!!!

          • MiketheMarine

I know that there is a “J” in that word somewhere.

            • I heard on O’Reilly that the flag stomping maggot has now been fired! GOOD!

              • MiketheMarine

What size round of ammo did they fire him with?

                • ROFL!!! 🙂 Morning my brother!

                • MiketheMarine

                  TGIF, Brother

  • kong1967

More people are killed with hammers than guns. Another feel-good inclination by the left that won’t solve a thing, and will actually leave many people without protection. There will still be just as many murders, but with a different tool.

  • ===A little early morning chuckle.
Clinton returns from a vacation in Arkansas and walks down the steps of Air Force One with two pigs under his arms.

At the bottom of the steps, the honor guardsman steps forward and remarks, “Nice pigs, Mr. President”

Clinton replies, “I’ll have to let you know that these are genuine Arkansas Razorback Hogs. I got this one for Chelsea and this one for Hillary.. So, now what do you think?”

The honor guardsman answers: “Nice trade, Sir.”

Two farmers were discussing politics and the first one says: “I believe in a share and share alike policy. One where we are all equal.”

“Well” replied the other farmer “I’m not sure about that. What you mean is that if you have two horses you’d give me one?”

    “Of course” says the first.

The second farmer continued: “and of you had two cars, you’d give me one of them too?”

“So” says the second farmer, “if you had two pigs then you’d give me one of them?”

“ah, now hang on a minute” says the first, “you know I’ve got two pigs!”

    LOTS more here: http://www.comedy-zone.net/jokes/laugh/politics/index.htm

    • Nukeman60

Loved your Clinton story (I won’t call it a joke until it’s been proven false). Any punchline that is hidden till the very moment of revelation is priceless.

      • If you have time, you should have a look at the link. some gems there. I’d post more but Scoop might get mad at me! 😉

        • Nukeman60

I’ll save the link. We can use some good humor inserted in the right moments. It might break up some of my squabbles with a few wandering trolls.

          • Hint: Use short jokes… They don’t have the mental capacity for jokes longer then one line! 🙂

  • Ask any Libtard and he will tell you. A FACT is NOTHING more than an INCONVENIENT TRUTH. It can be twisted out of shape to make a point, it can be dismissed, denied, or just plain ignored. it’s call the “Al-Gore factoid rule”

    • Nukeman60

Ahhh, man-made global factoids. They change with the weather.

  • physicsnut

wow – that video clip is incredible. Give that guy a Pulitzer – or a Nobel prize.

  • Nukeman60

I keep hearing this UK vs US argument over and over again. Never have I heard the proper retort for it on video. I’ve said it several times myself, but I’ll repeat here as well.

Piers’ sole point is that banning guns is the reason for their gun deaths being lower than ours. Of course we know that it’s a gang problem and not a gun problem, but that’s not the proper answer for his jaded stats.

The UK has had a long history of low gun deaths. Banning guns in 1997 did absolutely nothing to change their gun death totals. Long before the ban, their gun death total was low, and long after the gun ban, it hadn’t changed one bit.

What did change after the gun ban, however, was violent crime. It escalated out of control, as we all would surmise that it would. Once a citizen has no way of defending themselves, the criminal element considers it a gift from heaven.

I just wish one person would tell that to Piers and watch him squirm on that factoid.

    • MiketheMarine

I’d rather just kick him in the teeth, if that’s ok with everybody.

      • Nukeman60

Mike, I love it that you have a way with words – and combat boots. 🙂

        • MiketheMarine

My folks always taught me to find what you’re good at then try to be the best. As it turns out, my special gift is to be an A-hole. 😉

          • Nukeman60

Well, just for the record, in case any trolls are cruisin’, I like your kind of A-holiness. Just for the record. 🙂

            • MiketheMarine

How do you bow in honor on line?

{bow} with smart @$$ed smirk on my face.

  • EchoMike

Crap! It won’t let me share it to FB.
    I’ll try it at home.

  • 911Infidel

So the EU says that Britain has the second highest crime rate in the EU; and the US is 28th in gun crimes in the world. Oh c’mon losers like Piers Morgan don’t deal in facts. They are all about emotional vituperation, nothing more.
