LOL! Trump aides insert typos into Trump tweets ON PURPOSE!

Wow this is interesting. Apparently Trump’s aides who assist him in writing his tweets insert typos and randomly capitalized words on purpose to try and match his style:

DAILY MAIL – President Donald Trump aides have learned to try to reproduce his distinctive voice when they assist in crafting his tweets – by inserting errors and random capitalization of words.

Trump has built one of the world’s most recognizable Twitter brands with his swipes at a ‘Witch Hunt’ that is a ‘Political hit job’ – even if he throws the occasional curveball with a word like ‘covfefe.’

It has long been know that aides, including digital director Dan Scavino, assist Trump in his tweets. He has been known to dictate tweets to aides, such as former communications director Hope Hicks.

Online clues such as the signature of his old Android phone Trump used during the campaign also have provided hints about which tweets came directly from Trump, as opposed to those that are staff-generated.

Now sources tell the Boston Globe that when they do draft tweets for Trump, they deliberately insert spelling mistakes and his form of unorthodox capitalization to try to recreate the feel that they are spontaneously and authentically from him.

According to the report, the Trump-like tactics include liberal use of exclamation points, random capitalization for words he wants to stress, and sentence fragments.

There is even an official process for this!

There is even a surprisingly official process for when a staff member wants to solicit a tweet. To get one, an official must write a memo to the president that includes three or four sample tweets, a source told the paper.

Trump will either send it out as-is or make changes, then blast it to his 52 million followers and watch the reverberations.

“Tweets that are proposed are in his voice. You want to do it in a way that fits his style,’ said a source.

Remember the old adage that if you can’t beat them, join them? Well I guess Trump’s aides learned a long time ago that they couldn’t control him in any way when it came to his tweeting. So why not join him!

I’m in a good mood today. Go ahead and make this an open thread!
