Marco Rubio doesn’t agree with Kaepernick – BUT he thinks he should be on a team!!

Liddle Marco doesn’t give a damn that he will likely get skewered for this opinion – he told TMZ that Kaepernick was good enough to be one of the 64 quarterbacks on a team’s roster in the NFL.

Watch below:

From the Hill:

“Well, I don’t know what the owners did. I think he’s certainly … what is it … 64 quarterbacks in the NFL? There aren’t 63 people better than him,” Rubio told TMZ Sports when asked about the former San Francisco 49er, who famously began the kneeling protests during the national anthem ahead of NFL games.

“Look, I support his right to stand for what he does. I don’t agree with what he did but I support his right to do it,” Rubio said of Kaepernick’s protests against police violence and racial discrimination.

“But if we’re just talking football,” he added, “there aren’t 63 better quarterbacks in the world.”

So three things here. Firstly, it is really debatable if he’s actually good enough to be on a team. He wasn’t that great the year before he left. Secondly, even if he was good enough to play, it’s absolutely within the prerogative of a team’s owner if they want to avoid political controversy. Very simply, political divisiveness will anger 50% of your fans no whatever side you choose. Why put yourself through that? And it’s unfair to the other players too.

Thirdly, I think liddle Marco might be a bad judge of quarterbacks – he IS a Miami Dolphins fan after all. BOOOM!!! Suck it fins!!!
