Mark Levin calls out Mediaite for misconstruing his comments on amnesty

Mark Levin called out Mediaite tonight for misconstruing comments he made about amnesty last night regarding amnesty. Mediaite accused Levin of comparing amnesty to the Japanese internment done under FDR:

On his radio show Tuesday, conservative talker Mark Levin compared a hypothetical executive order from President Barack Obama that grants amnesty to undocumented immigrants to the Japanese internment of World War II.

But as Levin points out, he made no such comparison between the two. There was no moral equivalency between those coming across the border that will be affected by Obama’s executive order and the Japanese-Americans FDR rounded up.

Levin states:

“The moral equivalency goes to the attack on the Constitution, the separation of powers. FDR’s action wasn’t a separation of powers, it was horrendous! It was a violation of aspects of the Bill of Rights.

Whereas what Obama is about to do in his ‘hypothetical’ executive order that he and his people keep telling us is coming is the greatest assault on the separation of powers, probably in American history.”
