I wish Barton would have told them to kiss off! We need Conservatives who have backbone and are willing to stand on principle.
I think we have to look at each person individually, regardles of who backs them. We need to evaluate them and see where they truly stand on the issues that are important to us.
I totally agree with Mark Levin. I was outraged when I heard that Boehner, Cantor and Jeff Miller chastised Rep. Barton. Then, today I read that Jo Bonner (R-AL) called for Rep. Barton to step down. Well, I'm from AL and Jo Bonner is going to get a really good piece of my mind!! I'm sadly finding that there are very FEW good Constitutional Republicans in DC! I've already jumped all over Boehner, Cantor, and REALLY gave it to Miller. Bonner's going to get it even worse because he's from my state. When are they EVER going to learn!!!
If people continue to vote for the party's pick that's what they will get. My motto is don't vote for a candidate that's backed financially by the party or any other organization, because that's where their loyalties will lie
Regarding your comment about the next election being one where we choose the least corrupt: Isn't that how it is every election?

I find it odd that many people, Mark Levin included, believe it is appropriate that the President has the authority to assassinate any American citizen without any court oversight, yet asking a corporation to pay damages is "soft tyranny".Maybe Obama should just launch a drone strike against BP headquarters.

The oil spill is not Obama's fault but the destruction that has followed is. That the Republican's have not laid blame where it should be...the shoulders of government and BP...means that they would perpetuate the politics of "gotcha" over serving the people who elected them. I think maybe all these illustrious members of both parties are dirt-bags and will sell their souls for a dime bag. This next election will simply be one of choosing the least corrupt.

So very true. I think the Rep are still busy looking good in front of a camera. I don't think any of us know what's up O's sleeve for Nov.
