We have a disagreement on the debt deal, but GOD BLESS YOU COLONEL!

Go take it to the enemy, and by “enemy” I mean the Left!

I’m confused.. What specific quality did Levin Endorse..??? So far, West has not shown us that he is any different than what we already had in Congress.. West had two chances to vote AGAINST Increased Spending and he didn’t.. He voted right along with the GOP and the Dems to Increase spending and Raise the Debt Ceiling with Absolutely NO Balanced Budget Plan… Am I missing something.. What trust has he earned that he will vote to Cap, Cut and Balance.???? West has not yet proven that he will go against “Politics as Usual” and Demand Real Change..

He’s still a military man even if he is retired. He’ll follow orders from the chain of command as he has shown both times.

Although we dare not openly admit this, it should be clear that our government is under control of the executive branch. Congress and the Courts are impotent. That is not a stable state.

Considering we do not know what is going on in defense of the Republic in the shadows, especially with the military and the new breed of politicians like West and Palin, we may all do well to follow those with courage and principle, and trust them.

      West understands islam.

He is not afraid to stand and declare it the enemy of America, Christianity, Judaism, and Western Civilization.

That places him in rare company not only in DC, but in history.

      • Anonymous

Yeah he does understand Islam. However in Fl-22 he ran as a Tea Party dude. The Tea Party is about stopping spending. Sorry, the man speaks wonderful. I love everything he says. But, I don’t love the way he votes. So I can’t vote for him again in Fl-22.
What really hurts is I can’t believe the establishment got to him. To use his expression, “We would have followed West into hell with a gas can.” We loved him here. We so much need a leader who will just refuse to back down.

He endorsed the “R” after his name quality…..

Dont you understand???? You have to be the “D” that is what matters….

Mark Levin’s ringing endorsement (especially after the last month) should not go unnoticed by ANY concerned conservative. Mark holds nothing back, is never afraid to call ANYONE to the floor, as pure of a Constitutionaist as their is that has a national voice. Makes me feel even better about my commitment to Allen West!!!!!!!!!

Come join us at Allen West Republic on FB, Twitter, Freedomworks and Patriot Action Network. New website will be up in the coming weeks. Help get your Republic back!

I still do not understand why West caved on such a horrible bill without a real fight. He mentioned there being a problem with the very thing he voted on; the ticking clock on forced military cuts unless we get tax hikes. West has already told us how he is going to vote when that nasty mess comes up soon. He stated that he will not vote to hurt our military even more. Well that means that we will have the tax hikes.

What were they thinking! I still haven’t heard his explanation of why he voted for the pile of dung! Anyone have a link to where he attempts to explain why he voted the way he did?

    • Orange Shaman

I never felt right about him and so far, he’s not given me any relief about my concerns. He’s too much like my friend Bobby who’s also a retired officer. He’s too set in his old neocon ways to actually bring any sort of real change which could shrink government back to its constitutional limits.

That vote was disappointing. I questioned deeply my continued financial support of Colonel West after that. I more often judge politicians on single votes or actions that reflect character and principle rather than their “record”.

I have decided that my reference point on West is that he is fighting a battle, he knows our enemy. This for him is not politics, but survival. He knows islam and the leftists/statists who ally with it.

I will take his vote as an ugly but needed diversionary move for him. Unless he caves on islam, I have decided to stand strong with Colonel West.

Here is West at his Tea Party town hall where he explains in detail his perspective (he ROCKS – get to know him – and get involved!):

      I don’t get it ? Water is wet ?

I’ve yet to meet one single human being on the face of this earth that I have agreed with 100%, 100% of the time.
But, many of those same people have a character and a level of integrity that I can admire and support and completley back them.
This is how I feel about LTC. West, he’s not perfect, and to expect perfection is unrealistic and will hurt the over all cause, in this case, conservativisim.
    Go West!

    • Anonymous

Look for excellence not perfection. (the short version)

      • Anonymous

Very good way of putting it without taking much space! Thanks, I’ll remember that quote.

    • Anonymous

Okay, I’ll take excellence on votes not so much on talking. This guy talks the talk but he doesn’t walk the walk. You are willing to forgive him for his vote on Pigford where he says that he made a mistake and now for his vote on the raising of the debt ceiling. That’s your right. But I am not willing to forgive him. Frankly I do question someone’s character and integrity when they don’t consider the votes of the people who sent him to DC. West didn’t run on Islam and the military. He ran on controlling spending and putting people back to work, and getting the government out of our lives. Now he pulls a bait and switch and tells us he is the most concerned about the military.

Well said, JRD1. This is the same man who loves to quote the Constitution and reference the country’s founding. This is the man who promised to be OUR voice in Washington and fight the old “politics as usual” mantra. He then went and quietly gave our voice away to some UNCONSTITUTIONAL “super committee.” And his explanation was “that was the part I didn’t like.” Too bad Mr. West This is wholly not what I had expected from Colonel West when I voted for him last election. I really expected him to be a leader, not a follower. I am very disappointed with him and as an Independent in District 22 in Florida, I WILL NOT be voting for him again. “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.” I will not follow any more politicians just because “they are not as bad as the other one”. Substance does matter. I don’t really care what Mark Levin says. As far as I am concerned Mr. West can now seek donations from his new best friends John Boehner and Eric Cantor. Evidently “politics as usual” goes a long way.
