Mark Levin methodically rips apart Obama’s SCOTUS intimidation statement

Mark Levin goes through Obama’s statement today, segment by segment, and does the job the MSM won’t do in pointing out the lies and truths in Obama’s statement:

Something else to think about? Could it be possible that the administration has been tipped off?

    (h/t the jawa report)

    • Arrrggghhh

I was thinking the same thing myself. I imagine that it would be virtually impossible for someone on Ginsberg, Sotomayor or Kagin’s staffs not to leak the decision out. I would also imagine that it has also been leaked on the other side as well.

      • Tennant101

No that’s a leftie way of doing things

    • Spartan4Palin
    • Absolutely… Kagen…..

    • IngeC

Of course he was; it just so happen that Sotomayer and, Sebelius dined in the same restaurant friday night. Coincidence-NOT!

  • sDee

Levin observed: Defending the Constitution cannot be judicial activism.

  • destroyer_of_moonbats

    Obama – 0
    USA – 1

    • steprock

I really hope they overturn this. It’s his signature piece of legislation and will be a terrible blow to his legacy as President.

I am reminded of the kings of old who would blot out every mention of their predecessor, so that we don’t even remember their names to this day. Marxist dictators must get what they always get in the USA: a good, swift overthrow.

      • Constit4Ever

Why not let 1/10th of it stand. This would undermine his counter attack.

  • 12grace

Levin is impressive, obama deserves this and more

    • StrangernFiction

      Obama deserves prison for life.

      • Sober_Thinking

        Spot on m8.

  • W.

No, the RUSE is the leftists want to cover everyone at the same cost – and go around the actuaries…so that high-risk lifestyles (drug addicts, alcoholics, promiscuous people may have several abortions a year, be treated for infections, diseases, homosexuals can be treated for AIDS which costs 600K per patient) will be covered at the same cost as everyone else. They want to punish healthy clean-living people for the behavior of the few.

  • sjmom

I noted an undertone of anger as well as the usual arrogance in Obama as tried to intimidate the SC with a “veiled” threat. For someone who taught Constitutional law I still am surprised he didn’t see this coming. Perhaps, he’s beginning to understand he’s only the president.

    • BS61

Yeah, I heard some MIT guy who helped both Obama and Romney on Cavuto saying their is no back up planned because they never believed that it would be challenged and they never thought that it would go to the Supremes! Arrogant is right on!

  • I am so sick of tired of this freaking fraud! He thinks when he speaks, we are supposed to quiver in our shoes. I want him and his wonderful healthcare law to be repealed.

    • PVG

Repealed is too good for BO. He needs to be impeached and tried for fraud.

      • Sober_Thinking

        For treason.

      • About that impeachment thing. Impeachment would imply initial eligibility. By the Gay Chupacabra’s own admission, it is not eligible.

  • Tennant101

Of all the Characters around only Levine, and Rush have sufficent brain power and Love of our founding principles

    • NoToTyrants

How about Boehner? Cantor? McConnell? Reince Priebus?

Who’s Reince Priebus, you say? Exactly!

      • BS61

I tweet Boehner weekly to resign!

      • actionsspeaklouder

Boehner, Cantor & McConnell are useless. Reince likes to hear himself talk.

    • Don’t forget Governor Sarah Palin, who has been fighting this regime, sometimes single-handedly, since 2008! She is one of the main reasons that the Democrats don’t control both houses of congress!!

  • PAWatcher

obama’s really a lawyer and a constitutional lecturer?……….I’d like proof of that, cause, wow, he doesn’t sound that good, his arguments are weak even to a layman and his fumbling is appalling- and he was using a tele prompter.

    • big_conservative

HA, good luck with that proof. That’s sealed tighter than the JFK files, you’ll have to pass that down to your grandchildren to try to get that information.

  • LiveFreeOrDie2012

Folks this is bad news. Either Kagan or Sotomayor has leaked the preliminary vote to Obama. A little inside baseball here: If they took a preliminary vote on Friday and it was 4 upholding the law, 4 striking down the mandate, and 1 abstaining, Chief Justice Roberts would instruct the other justices to reconvene at a future time to get a majority. This most likely means that Justice Kennedy is on the fence or the Chief Justice is on the fence. Obama is trying to intimidate the Court into doing his bidding! How pathetic!

    • lanahi

Voting of the SCOTUS occured Wednesday, and throughout the three days of arguments, it is obvious the conservative judges did not like Obamacare. He’s trying to threaten them, and that’s frightening enough. If that’s all the threats that were issued, they probably ignored him, but I would be very careful of their backs if I were a conservative SCOTUS judge. And I’d hide their families for awhile. Hope they have more balls than congress does or we’re sunk anyway.

Of COURSE, Sotomeyer and Kagan ran to Obama right away to tell him what the decision was.

  • GiantM

All I see is a Dictator dictating. To him it matters not to who, as long as they listen….or else.

He is only as strong as his weakest link….and that’s the thickness of his skin. Get under that and he quivers, whines, bullies, and intimidates. Pretty soon, even the staunches followers will be disgusted with this man-child.

  • Can you imagine Constitutional law professor Obama in oral arguments on this before the Supreme Court in place of Solicitor General Vernelli? “Er … um … damn teleprompter … I think the mandate is constitutional because … er … um …. damn teleprompter … even Ben Nelson of Nebraska voted for it in exchange of funding for a hospital and … er … um …. damn teleprompter … a 219 to 216 vote in the House is a huge majority.”

    • Constit4Ever

      LOL. Too funny.

  • Nukeman60

That’s the thinking of an imperial president‘ – Levin

He hits the nail squarely on the head with this one statement (as usual).

    • PVG

      Bunker Brilliance!!

    • actionsspeaklouder

Even Cardinal Dolan called it – he said that Obama is imperious and deceitful. Nice call Cardinal.

  • William DuBroff

Unelected people sitting in the Supreme Court doing their thing is judicial activism if they do not uphold Obamacare. But unelected czars appointed by Obama without congressional approval who make decisions and formulate regulations are not activists? We truly live in an Alice in Wonderland world.

    • Sober_Thinking

      Great point!

    • Obama is getting more creepy as the days go on. He thinks he’s king.

      • ajudicator1776

You’re correct — he’s a sinking ship and increasingly acting desperate. Ignore the spin by the openly biased MSM and any stats or polls that favor King Hussein Obama. Americans expressed their outrage in the 2010 election. Have you seen anything by the Bamster that has softened the passion to vote him out of office in 2012? He’s a fraud who deceived the electorate in 2008. The truth about his past ideology, his past associations, his questionable identity, and his ongoing cover-up (including obvious forgery) and concealment of his vital records is all rising to the surface. In addition, his anti-American and tyranical bullying, along with his brain-dead redistributionist and class-warfare economic “solutions,” are alienating more and more people — including some of his staunchest former supporters.

  • Dan

I find BO actually amusing on this one. How stupid does he think we are? The third branch is actually doing it’s job. Judicial legislation was when SCOTUS temporarily waived the moot doctrine so that they could legalize abortion only to use the moot doctrine to strike down attempts to challenge the abortion ruling, including “Roe’s” attempt to recant the original law suit……….

  • carmtom13

BHO went to law school he should know better than to try and interfere with the justices. What I understood by what he said today was he was giving notice to the liberal judges they better stay in line with BHO’s obamacare. This is wrong!! These justices are there to uphold the constitution. That is their job and they are not to play politics, which I am sure the leftist do. Mark keep up the good work you are a great American.

  • MontanaAnnie

Mark Levin is always very helpful. This was good. I always need help with the ‘why?’ and he comes through for me.

  • Fredddd

UNlike what Obama would have you believe, it is the job of the Supreme Court on constitutional or unconstitutional laws…

But Obama is afraid…so he is continuing his communist agitating, er I mean community organizing. He also will not recognize that Congress, the Supreme Court and the Presidency are CO EQUAL branches of government….well that was before the ‘age of obama’…

  • aZjimbo

Hey barry your opinion is worthless. I’ll put my trust in “the great one”.

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Hmm. What’s the likelihood that the Supreme Court would throw this out only to have Showbama simply put everything in place via Executive Order?

  • TexasPGRRider

Can someone please tell me what “uninelected” (voiced by O at 7:52) means ?

    • Nukeman60

That was Obama’s ‘plausible deniability’ at work. He can say later that he wasn’t threatening the supreme court justices because he was talking about ‘uninelected people’. See, totally different. Nothing to see here. Move along.

      • TexasPGRRider

Thanks NUKE…I was beginning to feel uninenlightened. Happy Easter everybody !

  • Sober_Thinking

Once again Mark nails it. The left are lying hypocrites… And the fact that maobama is more or less threatening the SCOTUS is so damn scandelous. Again, why is he not impeached yet?

Pride comes before a fall and I hope maobama falls a LONG way in November. But only if Americans wake the hell up and everyone unites behind maobama’s oponent – even if it’s that stinking turd romney.

And as further insurance, vote out the garbage and vote in conservative Tea Party patriots into the Senate, House, Judiciary and state legislations. Finally, America especially needs to get right with God – stand up Christians and resist the evils of this time. Unite and fight!

  • Sober_Thinking

Once again I ask, why hasn’t Kagan recused herself or been barred from ruling on this?

She should have NO say in this whatsoever because of her involvement in initiating it. SOMEONE has to have the legal ability to remove her from this case. I’m still asking how she is able to be involved in this. So wrong and criminal.

    • Nukeman60

How else could she leak the vote to Obama, if she recused herself. As is the norm, the justices have time to change their minds after Friday’s vote and the outcome could be different. Kennedy has done it before.

That is what Obama was shooting for. Publicly make a statement that Kennedy can understand, so that he changes his mind. Much like leaking the verdict of a jury and then coercing one of them to change their vote, causing a hung jury. Kagan was the leaker, Obama gave the threat, and Kennedy will change his mind. Watch the results in June.

  • Jimtalb

    Insightful commentary, Mark.

Obama and the lefties HATE anything that is not conforming with their utopian, authoritarian viewpoint. Thank God for the Constitution. Thank God for those Justices who ARE following the Constitution in recognizing their position as a third branch of government that is EQUAL to the position and power of Congress and the Executive.

  • BS61

Ugh, I don’t actually listen to Obama anymore.

  • jmlsmb

I respect the unelected Judicial Branch, not the unelected Kathleen Sibelius making her Obamacare rules! I am sick of this divisive, lying, egotistical, crying baby sitting in our White House.

  • Allowing this law to stand, any of it, would be Judicial Activism. OK Republican Politicians, start saying that every time some MSM idiot asks any question about Obama-Care.

  • Trust1TG

More Obama scam – disable credit card donor accountability –

May liberty, truth and justice prevail.

  • sdharms

I am sick and tired of people recall that BHO “taught Constitutional Law” — just because he was the named instructor doesnt mean he taught RIGHT! he could have attacked the Constitution every day in every way. He doesnt believe in it– how could he have adhered to its principles!!

  • Obama says that SCOTUS should not overturn Obamacare in part because a “strong majority” (read all Democrats) voted for the bill. If one wants to support that position then it would be illogical to ignore the fact that a “strong majority” of citizens want the bill killed in part or totally. So which has higher standing? Citizens or Congress? In my world citizens.

    • WordsFailMe

Obama has been thoroughly briefed by the traitoress Kaga and lapdog Sotomayor on the positions of the other justices. He’s know he has lost.
He needs a race conflict now!
He needs a class war now!
He needs to shut down conservative talk now!

What would Saul Alinsky say to his little pupil now? Use Catch-22?

  • Funny how Obama twists everything around, right or wrong so it comes out only his way, and on top of that he’s trying to intimidate Supreme Court Justices. Where does it end? Hopefully and praying for, November, 2012. Anybody, but Obama.

  • WordsFailMe

The only difference in the Obama approach to the Supreme Court and the New Black Panther’s approach to the Trayvon case, is that the New Black Panther admitted me was not a citizen!

(lol You’ll never see anything as good as this on a Terry Perry! You can’t make this stuff up!)

  • steprock

“A duly Constituted law”? Wasn’t he a professor of Constitutional law? He sure doesn’t speak like one.

    • DebbyX

Sounds like a “movement” to me. If ya’ get my drift.

  • actionsspeaklouder

This “thing” we have for a president is despicable and detestable.

  • joeyblueyes

  • adoorable1

I just noticed that Obama is going to give 7 far Western Alaskan islands to you guessed it….Russia. There is millions of barrels of oil there. What is Russia giving us. Nothing, Zero, Nada. Our Comrade is at least predictable. Hurry November, hurry!!!

  • adoorable1

I heard…true or false today that Obama may have been tipped off of the preliminary vote on Obama care that was held last Friday. Think of it…why else would he be attacking the SCOTUS??? Perhaps a call from a leftist Judge? Think of it.

  • AppraisHer

Just a few thoughts after listening to Barry’s sermon:
Why does Barry allow “unelected” czars to make law, but SCOTUS is an “unelected” group that has no right to decide what’s constitutional?
I thought we had 3 SEPARATE branches of government, executive, judicial and legislative, not one exe-judical-ative which is controlled by Barry.
And lastly, each states elects representatives to be sent to DC to represent their own state, why then when they get there, do they become the “Federal Government”, no longer representing US? Just sayin’…

  • Tina Ferrer

Listening to Obama is like being accosted at the supermarket by this guy selling a book of expired entertainment coupons trying to convince me they’re still good. The problem is I purchased a book from the same person 2-3 months ago and the coupons were no good. Obviously he didn’t remember me but of course he doesn’t have 320 million possible customers. Regardless, Obama? You have 7 months.

  • I want to know ~ ‘who’ is Obamination’s programmer? it’s not possible to keep up with so many lies…He has a handler..
