Mark Levin schools Jeb Bush, says raising taxes should NOT be on the table; Levin gives his answer to Lauer

Mark Levin schools Jeb Bush on why there should be no wiggle room at all on raising taxes. At all. And then he gives Matt Lauer his answer to the same question.

Yes Mark was all over the twit. He made it clear that America is not a nation which wants a monarchical dynasty.

    • toongoon

Especially now that the Kennedy dynasty has finally died off.

      • marketcomp

Yeah, but those Bushes are still young and they just keep on com’in! I heard that Jeb Bush son is much more Conservative than any so far. But that remains to be seen. I think he’s going to run for Govenor of Texas. So I hear that democrats want to take back Texas and with George P. Bush (Jeb’s son!) they may get their wish.

      • OneThinDime

Well there’s one trying to make himself vital but is a failure like the rest of them.

  • toongoon

      Made me laugh!

  • That’s right.. Just recently we have proof Obama isn’t serious..

Obama basically said more tax revenue or else, sequester.

Jeb Bush said he won’t rule out running in 2016, well you can rule me out voting for Democrat or a Bush in 2016 if that happens..

  • Conniption Fitz

I will never vote for another Bush (or Clinton) or RINO. If they run, I’ll stay home.

    • Sober_Thinking

Me too. I was a team player with Romney (against my beliefs) and I’ll never do that again.

      • Taurnil Oronar

        • Conniption Fitz

The GOP and CPAC have gotten infested with socialism and Islam.

  • Once again, Statists attempt to frame the debate dishonestly. Increase in revenues is not being discussed. Increase in tax rates is all that is being offered by the Statists. Increasing tax rates will decrease revenues and further diminish the economy, which is precisely the Statists’ goal.

    • aposematic

Its not about revenues if you can believe the liar in chief, Obuma. Obuma said its about punishing the rich. Obuma believes in the idiocy that the rich (spelled the producers of wealth) got rich off the backs of the poor the same as America became the greatest Nation ever on the backs of the third World Nations. The great hypocrisy is that the Obuma is getting rich by stealing America’s wealth.

      • Conniption Fitz

And Obama’s giving away taxpayer dollars by the hundred-millions to his cronies.

And the Republican establishment (Boehner/Bushites) in the District of Corruption are Obama’s enablers.

  • Wigglesworth

Bush and his sidekick were on Hannity. This amnesty circus is pathetic.

    • notsofastthere

The failure of McCain and Romney just didn’t teach the RINO’s a lesson yet. None of them get that we are in a fight for survival of this country.

      • Sober_Thinking

        Absolutely!!! 🙂

  • marketcomp

These RINOs can be doped so easily it’s a wonder that Obama plays them, specifically Boehner, like a fiddle. They are such punks because they can so easily damage and tarnish Conservatives i.e. Mitt Romney v Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney v Rick Santorum, but fold like a cheap suit and allow communists and liberals to just manipulate them to do and get whatever they want. I just cannot believe that these people are actually leaders!

  • notsofastthere

Hey, Levin all the genius talking heads on TV are telling me that Jeb is liked and he speaks Spanish. That is why he will win and he is a Republican who is willing to reach out and be inclusive. Nothing else matters and no other qualifications are needed.
Did the media lie to me again? Oh, there I go, just being sarcastic again.

    • marketcomp

If I’m not mistaken Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio speak Spanish too. So what?!

      • Sober_Thinking

I’m not being snarky to you… but I doubt he’s qualified to wipe his bottom. I don’t trust that guy one bit.

Good point about Cruz… but also, I agree… big deal. 🙂

  • Sober_Thinking

    Boom! Spot on… brilliant! 🙂

Sorry, but I think the Bush family has done quite enough to this country. Leave Jeb out of it all.

Obama is a liar. When will these goobers realize that? He has no intention of doing anything that will actually help this country. He’s a monster and a destroyer. What’s it gonna take for these clowns to get that? Sheesh!

  • aposematic

Can’t stand any of that Bush clan and never have. They are the quintessential example of the definition for the phrase the lesser of two evils when one’s in the voting booth.

    • notsofastthere

I do believe the Bush’s are honorable, honest people but I don’t want them leading the country either. Lesser of two evils fits them well.

  • JohnCraven

But a monarchical dynasty of Bush’s, Clinton’s and Obama’s is what we are headed for because this is what the Big Whigs of the GOP and the Dems want.

It can be stopped but not the way we are going.

In 2010, we took back the House for the GOP and nearly took back the Senate
and what happened afterwards? Many TEA Party candidates who won election
were co-opted or marginalized or eliminated from standing up to ObamaCare at the very next election in 2012. We can’t take this party back. There’s nothing to take it back to.

But we can run alternative conservative party candidates against them all in the next election and defeat them, both the Big Whigs of the GOP and the Marxists of the politburo of the democrat party.

And it’s not like we have any other reasonable choice in this matter.

An alternative conservative party would be as viable if not more so than the dead party in the GOP we have now.

Serious, the president is not serious about anything that is good for this country. He IS serious about destroying our moral foundation, and our historic foundation, and our Constitutional foundation.

    • Rocco11

Make no mistake, there is a communist in the White House, yet some on “our side” (Rand Paul) still believe he deserves deference. Deference to a communist, great strategy…

      • Conniption Fitz

Beyond communist – Obama is a black muslim supremacist Islamo-fascist wanna-be dictator. He will not go peaceably, without destroying this nation.

  • spin43

I would stay home before I vote for Jeb Bush. The media is building him up so they can destroy him later. Sorry Mark, but I am joining the Conservative Party.

  • spin43

Mark, please stop saying what good people the Bush’s are when they have no respect for our countries laws.

  • colliemum

    To the point, as always!

It is beyond belief that so-called ‘conservative’ politicians in your and my country do not understand that more taxes will not make the economy grow. They do not understand that economic growth leads to more revenue.
    Why is that?
Are they stupid? Then why do they get elected? Or do they have an agenda they don’t talk about? Like – more control over their people, and staying in power by handing out free stuff, just like the progs do?

But there’s hope. Voters, especially tax payers, are getting it and are starting to ask why they should elect the politicians who have failed them and keep on failing them.
The so-called pundits in the meejah are suspiciously silent about the real impact of the ‘Five Star Movement’ on Italian politics, as they are about the success of UKIP here in the UK, which went from 3.8% of the vote in 2010 to second place, with over 28%, in 2013. They didn’t win because the local incumbent had the postal vote stitched up. UKIP got the most votes on election day.

So prepare to hear shouts of ‘populists’, ‘racists’, and worse in the coming months, but take heart: you can do exactly as the Italians and as UKIP did, and throw those tax-happy politicians out.

  • Biggbear52

In recent years( about a dozen) it has become exceedingly obvious that true conservatism is a dying belief. That is to say that those claiming to be of that thinking are actually playing semantics at best. It is not difficult to see the hyperbole that spews when we should be hearing a non-movable stance on principles. In the last 40 years: “THAT’S TWO GENERATIONS) the moral compass of this country has turned 180 about and gone strait towards Satanic Paganism. This is the one common denominator in this change. This change has been SHOVED at our youth in this time frame by the left and extreme left. Mostly in the schrewalls of the indoctrination system once known as the education system. To make matter worse the introduction of video games showing extreme violence is not exactly a good moral fiber! In fact these games have been directly linked to recent mass shootings that the left would have you believe is not so. Yet the evidence is irrefutable indeed. At last study the level of immoral aggressive collapse do to violence on screen in the form of movies, and video games is up over 5600% in just 15 years. Bearing in mind that games like mayhem, grand theft auto and presumed “ADULT SWIM” cartoons are just turning 20 to 25 years of age.

Frankly, Great One, any candidate who is a GOP establishment candidate who is more interested in preserving or growing their power and influence and have lost sight of the grassroots principles of limited government, personal freedom and rejecting cronyism and have exhibited their corruption by freezing out the grassroots with the Soviet style rules change at the convention is my enemy and I will never vote for them no matter how much you try to convince me that an orange juice can can beat Hilda-beast or Cuomo.

I’m done with the corrupt Bush mafia and all their little suck ups and that includes “the Waterboy.”

I am particularly incensed that none of the so called TEA party candidates went after Jack Lew and I intend to never forget it just like I intend never to forget Jeb and his dad spending a quiet little afternoon hanging out with Obama at the White House.

Establishment candidates have proven time and time again just which side they are on when they choose to partner with Chuck Schumer on amnesty which is not even on the grassroots agenda rather than partner with the left on attacking a corrupt Jack Lew because it will upset the Bush Ruling Class. When a far leftist liberal rag like the New Republic writes a scathing piece on Jack Lew it smacks you right between the eyes what a golden opportunity was wasted to prove to the other side that the GOP is not the party of the rich Rockefeller Republicans but the party of the working middle class. The left is still pissed off about Rubin, Goldman etal. It was finally a time to partner with those on the other side of the aisle instead of going to Wall Street and asking them for money to finance your corrupt campaign. Shame!

    Actions speak louder than words.

  • You could EASILY cut billions of dollars from our budget and nobody would miss it. Here’s a start, get rid of those stupid ethanol subsidies that have not only been a total failure, but have also driven up the price of corn so much that it has also driven up the price of food. There are plenty of examples of how to save money, but the problem is that if you end up cutting anything there always seems to be a special interest group that wants to save it. You actually need an adult in charge to make the hard decisions on what to cut and what to keep. Such leadership is nowhere to be found in Washington, certainly NOT at the White House.

  • Conniption Fitz

    NO MORE Bushes or Clintons.

Both are socialist big government oligarchs and corrupt, corrupt, corrupt and compromised to hell and back with Islamophilia and foreign oil.

We need to cut ties with Islam, expell all of it from this country.

We also need to cut our dependence on Middle East Oil.

Our Constitution and laws and economic free enterprise are incompatible with Islam and Obama’s Islamo-fascist totalitarianism usurpation of power.

  • bjohnson55

What Mark said, go away Jeb Bush. I just made a large payment to the Tea Party, get the message GOP’s RNC? I suggest the money start flowing to the Tea Party NOW, the RINO’s are trying to get ahead of the curve with jerks like Jeb Bush and the Lauer’s of the FAUX media are more than happy to help.

  • Kordane

You’re getting either Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio.

Either learn to live with it, or go Libertarian.

Those are the options you have, because they’re all the options that your establishment masters will allow you to have.

The establishment has the money, they have the manpower, they’ve rigged the system in their favor, and they’re fanatical about the absolute necessity to have a moderate candidate.

    • just because the gop establishment puts them up, doesn’t mean we have to vote for them. and i for one will never vote for another rino republican who alienates the conservatives.

      • Kordane

You’ll vote for whatever establishment candidate wins the nomination, just like you did for Romney. Again, don’t fool yourself into thinking a Conservative will win the nomination; the establishment won’t allow that, just as they didn’t allow it last time.

And Mark Levin will come out and say “I’ll vote for an orange juice can over (Democrat candidate)”, meaning he’ll vote for yet another weakling moderate establishment RINO, and the Democrats will win another election, further cementing their tyranny over this nation.

And then in 2020, you’ll do it all over again, and again in 2024, and so on… until the United States is NO MORE.

    • OneThinDime

This country will not vote for another amnesty candidate and will not vote for a liberal-lite (libertarian). Rand Paul has already shown his amnesty colors and his disregard for the Senate’s checks and balances.

      • Kordane

I reject the notion that libertarians are “liberal-lite”. They share some of the positions that liberals have, but the cause of liberty is not about being “anti-liberal”; it’s about respecting and defending individual rights.

There are things that Conservatives advocate that are violations of individual rights, just as there are things that Liberals advocate that are violations of individual rights; likewise, there are things that Conservatives advocate that are respectful/protect individual rights, just as there are things that Liberals advocate that are respectful/protect individual rights.

        • OneThinDime

There are things that Conservatives advocate that are violations of individual rights Why don’t you list them out for us.

          • Kordane

The Conservative stance on abortion, on drugs, on pornography, on marriage, on taxation, on regulations, on entitlements, on welfare, on homosexuality, on eminent domain, on suicide, and so on…

It’s never: What freedoms of action are implied by the unalienable individual rights?

It’s always: What freedoms of action are we choosing to allow and not allow? (typically based upon Christian ethics and/or based upon what’s politically expedient)

Conservatives pay lip service to individual rights, but when it really comes down to it, they do NOT want people to have the freedom that the individual rights imply they should have. It’s “too much freedom” for them to tolerate. They put what their religion says or what’s most expedient, above protecting the individual rights of Man.

Did you know that if individuals had the freedom that the individual rights imply, that individuals would be free to inject ANY and EVERY drug imaginable? Did you know that individuals would be free to marry the same gender, and even marry multiple partners? Did you know that the government (and states) wouldn’t be allowed to tax you or regulate you? Did you know that there would be NO entitlements, NO welfare and NO foreign aid? Did you know that people could commit suicide and even get others to help them commit suicide perfectly legally?

Individual rights implies things that would make (especially) social Conservatives heads explode with anger. “You can’t take drugs, have sex with the same gender and get married to multiple partners!”, they’d say “That’s immoral!” and I’d reply “HA well guess what? I have individual rights that say I can, so you can sod right off you crazy kook!”, and that social con would rage rage rage, it would be glorious. But yes, that’s only if individual rights were respected and protected completely.

    Seen on twitter yesterday evening:

No more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs – no more shrubs!

    (H/T Firelight)

  • If Jeb Bush is nominated, I WILL NOT vote Republican at the top of the ticket. Further if a viable candidate like Sarah Palin openly confronts both parties and goes for it in 2016, REGARDLESS of who the Republicans nominate, I will stop my life and work for her.

Her or someone like her like Col West or Sen Cruz are the only ones who stand up to the REgressive cancer destroying our country.

Jeb Bush???? GO THE *UCK AWAY

    • Kordane

Careful, if you don’t vote Republican then you will receive hatred and bile the likes of which you’ve never experienced. You either vote for that moderate weakling RINO, or else it’s the tar/feather, bucket of slime, and hail of abuse treatment for you! That’s basically what Libertarians get every election cycle from Conservatives and Republicans alike.

Allen West or Ted Cruz? Nope, it won’t happen. Don’t be hoping for another Reagan any time soon. The establishment learned their lesson. They won’t let that happen again.

You’re going to get moderate weakling RINO after moderate weakling RINO after moderate weakling RINO after moderate weakling RINO… until you SCREAM.

  • Bryan Ewbank

    Oh, C’mon…

Jeb was just pointing out that there’s no way to get agreement because of fundamental differences. There’s no need to jump all over someone simply because you don’t like the way someone said “no” without being blunt and, perhaps, offensive to those in the the middle.
