By The Right Scoop

This is a short but great segment where Steyn mocks what he calls “the most pathetic revolution in history” because they couldn’t even start it themselves. They had to outsource their revolution to a media company in Canada.

He mocks:

What has it come to? What is the pitiful state of America’s rebellious youth when they have to basically just be lame southern front men for what is essentially a Canadian rebellious youth movement. This is pathetic.

Steyn makes me laugh every time I listen to him. The moral outcry from a seriously funny sense of humor is just more fun than humans –especially revolutionaries– should be allowed to experience.

Oh No. He’s gonna offend Heraldo. Heraldo has probably had his wallet stolen and been smacked in the head 15 times out there trying to make friends.

The best moment was jerry getting covered in white powder and turning to the cameras. He could have broken into a chorus of mammy but I guess that’s not PC anymore either.

He sure has a compelling way with words, making fun of them is probably the best way to address their incompetence. It is the Dr. Johns, the Cloward Pivens and the tyrannical, anarchistic unrestrained agitators that worry me.

Mark Steyn rules and is hilarious. An out-sourced revolution for the physically and intellectually lazy American bums.

I doubt it’s coincidental that the “occupy” mobs chose to call themselves the “99 percenters”. It seems the term is meant to impress and intimidate by infering “There are more of us than you – We are bigger and more powerfull than you”
I don’t understand the psychology of people who derive a kind of visceral pleasure, even exhilaration, in joining a group in which one’s individual identity is subordinated to that of the mob. Mabye the use of their warm body seems a reasonable price to pay in return for the insulation the mob affords, emboldened by relative anonymity to indulge their more base, anti-social urges. However in my mind that doesn’t immunize them from the consequences of their actions should they become violent, or even violently disruptive, at which point they are as alien to me as an invasion of “pod people”, and should be dealt with as such.
Mabye the term “99 percenters” is also meant to instill in themselves a sense of popular, righteous grievence, thus exonerating them of guilt or shame for whatever actions they commit in the “heat of the moment”. After all, people can be just as adept at concocting lies to beguile themselves as they are in deceiving others.
To the “99 percenters” I say this: Try as you might, no matter where you are, or how comforted you feel sheltered amongst the horde, you can’t escape yourself. For better or worse, you’re stuck with YOU – 100%, ALL THE TIME. You’re time might be better spent focusing on THAT project, before deigning to put the rest of the world to right.

Yes, 99.9% of the Wall Street Protesters are ” useful idiots”.

    • Anonymous

      99% hmmmmm…

The Hells Angels biker gang calls themselves 1%ers.

I wonder how those 99%ers would do vs those 1%ers.

Silly me, how could I expect any empathy for OWS from the right. Not too long ago there was a “mob” of frustrated American citizens marching for what they believed in… the difference is they were considered patriots, while OWS is thought to bring terror. Can’t we just give a tip of the hat to these fellow American (and world) citizens for exercising their right to free speech and assembly rather than chastise them for doing the exact same thing the Tea Party has done?

      “Silly me…” (Jus)

Oh, it’s more than silly, it’s absolutely wrong and completely ignorant. There are no similarities whatsoever.

“…exact same thing the Tea Party has done?” (Jus)

100% BS. Thanks for taking the time to illustrate what bold-faced lies looks like.
Tip a hat to communists? Are you crazy? Tip a hat to people who tear up things? There is nothing admirable about this group. Nothing…unless you’re a communist yourself.

These OWS-holes are stupid, lazy, anti-free-enterprise, cockroaches. The only thing I would tip towards them is a giant can of Raid and a landslide election.

    • Anonymous

Actually, there is no similarity between OWS and the Tea Party. The Tea Party abide by the law, they clean up after themselves, and they go home at the end of the day. OWS wants wealth redistributed, then cry when other OWS’ers redistribute THEIR wealth (steal from them). They refuse to leave wherever they have planted themselves. They relieve themselves on other people’s doorsteps. They trash their surroundings. They harass and intimidate people. They are filthy from lack of bathing, and it is only a matter of time until we find out about the spread of easily avoidable diseases from the unsanitary conditions they have created.

News Flash: OWS (“Occupy Wall Street”) is granted the ticker symbol OWS on the New York Exchange. Al Gore Gloats to his buddies at the club on his successful IPO. In other news, 6 protesters die of drug overdose in Washington State.
