Cory Booker is being celebrated by the left and the mainstream media for his abusive and angry berating of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, but isn’t that just a little bit hypocritical on their part?
Here’s an example:
"Your silence and your amnesia is complicity”: Sen. Cory Booker unleashes on Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen after she says she doesn’t remember President Trump using the word “shithole” to refer to African countries at the DACA meeting https://t.co/tPCw1t4SSR pic.twitter.com/HY3ff6M637— CNN (@CNN) January 16, 2018
Seth Mandel shoots them down over it:
I'm going to guess the prevailing narrative isn't "male senator bullies woman in front of crowd?" We getting thinkpieces on the societal failings that led Booker to treat Nielsen this way? No? Anyone? https://t.co/QamejvcpS7— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) January 16, 2018
(Your regular reminder that counting the number of times a witness interrupted Kamala Harris is mere performance art by ppl who don't actually care but are just looking to score partisan points.)— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) January 16, 2018
He then retweeted this adoration of Booker:
Sorry but I can't hear you over all these crickets— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) January 16, 2018
Now look I’m not saying Nielsen didn’t deserve any berating – maybe she did. But it’s absolutely hypocritical for the media to slobber all over Kamala Harris because some old white guy interrupted her during a committee hearing. And the reason is obvious to anyone who is being honest with themselves – they love ripping down Republicans and helping out Democrats.
And they’ll hypocritically use any reason, including “sexism,” in one instance and completely ignore it another, for the sake of pushing the leftwing agenda…
