Michelle Malkin defends Sen. Rand Paul, say he hasn’t been assimilated by the Borg in DC

Apparently some Democrats in Washington are incensed by Rand Paul’s questioning of Hillary Clinton yesterday when he told her that if he’d been president he’d have fired her. But Malkin says he was right on the money and notes that the reason they are incensed is because he hasn’t learned the DC way of speaking, that he hasn’t been assimilated by the Borg in DC yet.

OMG I’ve never been so CREEPED OUT!

      Good vid…

      • Creeped me out too… But I remembered it when Michelle mentioned the Borg and she gave me the chance to creep everyone else out… You know, I didn’t mean that to come out the way it did.

    • Philo Beddoe

      How true.

There is a sense of hopelessness in America. All caused by obamunist.

      • americalsgt

I had a similar feeling of hopelessness in the late 70’s after Carter’s Cardigan Sweater speech, and going through the gas lines based on your plate number, but it’s more intense this time. There are way too many on the dole, our debt to GDP isn’t going to get better in the next 4 years and we will be looking at another downgrade this year. The president we have I fear will never leave, and if and when that happens it will be for a position at the UN. where he can continue his redistribution but on a global scale. For me I want to stick around till the crash and burn if only to see those who are empowering our demise; the Cloneys, the Zuckerbergs, the Matthews et al get there turn when Obama no longer needs them.

    • 57thunderbird

That was one creepy video.Especially the first 10 to 15 seconds

    • cabensg

That was it in a nutshell except for the resistance is futile part. Obama hasn’t even seen the beginning of resistance.

  • Betsey_Ross

It’s the DC way of speaking that infuriates me. I hope he never learns it.

    • BlueGood

Who can not love Michelle Malkin?? (okay Liebrals don’t count)….

      I mean….Hill ‘O Beans OWNED by Rep. Duncan (R)

      AND Rand Paul….

  • sDee

“The DC way of speaking” is double speak itself. The rest of us out here just call it “lying”.

    • Don

Great point, sDee. Rand telling the truth should upset the majority of politicians as the truth is something most of them have not known since they were elected. Washington DC is a cesspool of lies and deceit where honesty and integrity has ceased to exist for decades. I don’t know which is worse, the lies and deceptions by the American-hating progressive or the cowardly backstabbing of the scum sucking RINOS. Neither group is worth the water it takes to flush them down the toilet..

      • sDee

that sums it up nicely Don – politics are really not so hard to understand afterall

  • If Clinton had any integrity at all, she would have apologized and quit her job in the days following the attack. Instead they got a coverup in place. Benghazi is FAR FAR WORSE than Watergate… Nobody died during Watergate. Fair play to Rand Paul for calling a spade a spade and asking the right questions the right way!

    • jrt1031

Are you kidding me Hillary and her boss were more than happy to just used that massacre as an excuse to apologize to Muslims in the world.

    • Orangeone

But if Hitlary had apologized and resigned, Barky may have lost the election because the Clinton machine wasn’t available for a Monica-style cover-up and that would hurt her 2016 campaign. The Clintons and entire Administration lack any ethics or integrity.

      • BlueGood

Orange we Conservatives know, and a few “other humans” (read Borgs), are learning that spelling is difecult, cumplicetated and hard…..

Liebrals can’t even speel the word “integrity” let alone unnerstan’ it’s meaning……(snort)….

        • Orangeone

Gigglesnort alert from my neighbor to the north!  Go’day my BlueGood friend!!  How’s the cold up there?????

          • BlueGood

When I awoke this morning Madame, I immediately check the WEATHER NETWORK online for the temp…..

It was so FFFFFRickin’ CCCCCCOLD…as soon as the page loaded…IT FROZE!~

            -32 with windchill of -39………..

            • Orangeone

Bbbbbbuuuuurrrrrrr This is our 4th day of -Zero usually only -10 with -35 wind chill.  I’m sending you and my friend east some 20s this weekend 🙂

              • I want my Global WARMING And I want it NOW!!!

Fat Albert bemoaning a warming… I think he’s secretly trying to freeze us all to death!

                • Orangeone

Warmth is on its way 🙂  Global warming, Mobile Swarming.  Some of us call this January!  Maybe Gore should come north and leave the CA sun behind and then explain his global warming (or climate change to explain the cold….)

    • Dukehoopsfan

“If Clinton had any integrity at all” … Well, there you have it my friend. She clearly has none.

  • I thought Rand Paul was one of the few bright spots of yesterday’s farce. I also thought Hillary is lucky that she’s not being brought up on charges for perjury. We need a lot more people like Rand Paul in Congress, not less. God Forbid someone be held accountable for the needless death of four Americans. Had the people at the State Department actually done their jobs and provided the people in Benghazi with the additional security that they had requested, those four dead people might be alive today.

  • PhillyCon

Man, these Leftists really have cornered the market on this supposed “righteous indignation.”

  • Rand Paul stand s in stark contrast to the idiots in the Senate that just butt kissed her.

That includes the grand standing Republicans like McCain.

    • marketcomp

      Amen, Laurel!

      • Ya know I have to say I am leery of Libertarians, and Rand Paul has some foreign policy positions that make me question him…HOWEVER! He has my attention and I am listening to him. There may come the time soon that we just might have to take his rip the band aid off approach.

Agree or disagree with him at least the man has some backbone!

        • aposematic

Good for you Laurel; its wise to be leery of anyone that puts a single capital letter behind their name. FYI Rand Paul uses a capital R. There exists only three major groups in America for Small Federal Government: real Conservatives, not those the LSM/Press label as conservative, most of them couldn’t spell Conservative; grass roots Tea Partiers; and Libertarians.

          • aposematic he puts an R behind his name for political expediency so think about that as well and what it entails.

    • would love to see a palin/rand ticket in 2016. two who are unafraid to speak out on what matters truth.

      • That would be a great ticket.

  • jrt1031

From what I heard of Paul he was far too diplomatic with the injustices that our administration has committed

    • cabensg

He’s not commenting on a blog where idiot, traitor and incompetent speed from our keyboard to the page. He’s speaking in a Senate hearing before the country. His words were well chosen to accomplish what was needed and the spinning heads of liberals show he hit his mark.

  • c4pfan

For crying out loud! These are the same people that still go after people out of office (GW Bush and Sarah Palin), but don’t bring up anything the person in charge is doing? Please!

    • sDee

      You reminded me of this…

The Lesson in the Betrayal of Sarah Palin

    • notsofastthere

It couldn’t be more obvious that Hillary, hubby, and all Obama’s people haven’t a shred of integrity. Gross mismanagement of an agency is reason to step down, but refusing aid and getting 4 people murdered is inexcusable. She is incapable of shame or guilt, same for Obama and Bill.

      • she has no conscience and is a pathological liar.

  • jleinf

Rand is right her a$$ should be fired. A grade schooler would have done a better job protecting OUR people in Benghazi with all the red flags popping up EVERYWHERE.

    • notsofastthere

Rand deserves much praise, but where were the others? I’m really worried about the entrenched Republicans – they are just as dangerous as Obama.

      • you can forget about most Republicans in Washington D.C, there are literally a handful of good congressman (look who voted against sandy pork bill) and a few senators, the rest are establishment deal makers. The GOP leadership are too frightened to stand on principles and push the government to the debt limit and the Dems know this.

      • waytngtym

Rand was outstanding. I only wish his voice would raise, his eyes fix, and his words progress to “Treason.”

  • sue-marie

Rand Paul was my hero yesterday! I am sick and tired of officials made to look like the second coming when they were responsible for the death of our people. Obama is the guiltiest…he would NOT send help for fear of stirring up an international incident for the weapons running project he had going for the Rebels in Syria. Clinton did nothing to protect our ambassador and she is just as responsible. Good for Rand…he is looking better and better for 2016!

    • aposematic

      Nailed it.

    • waytngtym

Does anybody know why they didn’t press clinton on Obama’s role? and will he ever come before committee?

  • stage9

“Some Democrats reacting “furiously” to that moment. Barbara Boxer left the room she was so angry.”

    “Pygmy’s and partisan tormentors”

LOL! What the….what, are radicals running out of words to call us now? I suppose Hitler doesn’t work as well anymore.

“Why is the mere question such an offense (to the left)”

It isn’t an offense, it’s a DEFENSE! Liberals defend theirs mercilessly when they are being ridiculed, and they bank on the fact that well-meaning people, or in the repugnantcan’s case, the spineless jellyfish, cower away in apology for having raised such tough questions. Their strategy is to silence OPPOSITION IMMEDIATELY. The quicker the better. They have found that the best way to win is to spin the tables and attack, attack, attack. Discredit the opposition thereby taking the focus off of their blatant failures and evil agenda.

    • Stehekin912

Think of the toddler having a tantrum in a toy store. What better way to stifle adult behavior and discussion than to act like a spoiled child in front of as many people as possible. What does the mother in the toy store do? What are her choices? We need a child psychologist to help us deflect the tactics of the Left.

    • PVG

“Some Democrats reacting “furiously” to that moment. Barbara Boxer left the room she was so angry.”

That can only be a good sign! Rand didn’t call her Ma’am did he??? 😉

  • Stehekin912

Now we need others in Congress to be like Seven of Nine…become freed from the Borgmind and become free individuals….and please, let it be soon

  • BORG = Bill O’Reiley Group?

  • poljunkie

That photo of Michelle is awesome! I swear you better pray you are her friend.
She’s wickedly beautiful…In a don’t mess with me kind of way.

  • Sober_Thinking

They’d be incensed if he had sent her flowers… Greg Gutfeld’s book is all about this.

Rand called it right and was honest. In an uncorrupt country, with a leadership that wasn’t literally insane, what Rand said would have happened – Hillary would have (should have) been fired. Many people in our leadership were criminally complicit in this tragedy. Many of them could have done something to save those men.

Rand’s response to those who are crying foul should simply be: “What difference does it make?”

  • texasgirl46

If the Democrats are upset about his comment then he hit a nerve and did good…

  • Landscaper

If you take Michelle Malkin and put her in the Open Thread “Wrong Girl” as the possible victim, that would be Cello Award stuff.

  • Three cheers for Rand Paul! Right now, he is the only Republican that I would support in 2016.

    • aposematic

Maybe a couple of other sitting R’s too but will wait to see how they play out. Palin and West too.

    • would you support him with your $ and time in your local area and GOP? it’s easy to say you will support someone but how many people will actually DO something about it with their time and their wallets?!

  • Conniption Fitz

    What a woman.

    So much better than C——!

  • Skevvy

She didn’ t see the memos requesting additional security, but apparently she read and acted on someone’ s memo to remove security from the Libyan embassy in August 2012!

    • aposematic

Yea; but they are blaming that on the House R’s for not giving them enough funding.

  • sandynsavannah

    I cannot stand Michelle Malkin!!!
I will NEVER FORGIVE HER for jumping on the band wagon to destroy THE BEST ONE FOR NOMINEE we had, NEWT GINGRICH.
(actually…I will and do forgive her…we all are dumb sometimes) BUT…I won’t listen to word she says anymore.
The scripture the LORD gave me on election day is this…

    Psalm 121
    A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

Just like my rights, my help comes from THE LORD!!
    NOT government!!

    Praise GOD! Praise GOD!

    • NHConservative0221

You mean the same Newt that supported cap/tax before he was against it, got on board with socialized medicine before he was against it, voted to create the Dept of Education, and the Fairness Doctrine?

He also called Ryan’s Medicare plan “right wing social engineering.” Newt talks a good game but he’s been corrupted by DC. He wasn’t the answer either.

You’re barking up the wrong tree, Malkin is a real journalist and exposes both sides.

Too bad you can’t handle that.

      • sandynsavannah

yes…because I looked past the one line attacks and found his reasoning/explanations acceptable and found his views and ideas the most acceptable and beneficial to our nation.

      • sandynsavannah

        and furthermore….
I have no idea of what you are thinking I can’t handle but here is something I found after I left this site to see what news I could find about my favorite candidate!…

Lets see if YOU can handle IT…:D

        ABC News’ Michael Falcone reports:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Think you’ve heard the last of Newt Gingrich? Think again.

The former House Speaker and unsuccessful presidential candidate sounds like he’s back and, by the standing ovation he received at the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting in Charlotte, better than ever.

  • WhiteGuy2

The best indicator of who on the republican side is most in line with conservative thought and principle is the guy or girl who can get the DC liberals panties in a wad and have to leave the room because they are, just! so wee weed up.

I think we have a winner here folks, keep it up all the way to 2016 and he will have my vote.

  • xjesterx

Waaaaaahhhhhhhh! Waaaaaahhhhh!! Someone is talking mean to us. Waaaaaahhhhhh…..Only we can talk to people that way!!!

  • white531

Let them be incensed. Its about time.

  • NJK

Rand Paul for President. If he runs, I won’t even have to think about voting for him. See, Hillary Clinton thinks she’s royalty. She’s a public servant, and she is angry that she was treated like the treasonous b___ch she is.

  • repubboy

Ms. Malkin great call, Let us all hope that Senator Rand remains as independent as possible.
He to me seems like the only one that has any man hood in the whole senate.. all of the ones that I saw were the weakest bunch of panderers I have ever seen.. Boy they sure are PW’d when it comes to Mrs Clinton.. She really did not deserve any ony of those kind words that were said to her.. She Blew It and Her Boss Knew it.. They Both Lied and four good Americans Died. But “What Difference Does It Make “…

    • Rand will never back down, he has a spine and a set of principles.

  • sandynsavannah

    and furthermore….

  • bobemakk

I hope Rand stays the way he is. He is probably the only true conservative in politics. Michele Malkin is correct. I hope Rand Paul runs for president, who else is left among the republicans? Obama must be impeached.

  • white531

Hillary Clinton is an idiot of the first order. She and her idiot husband are indicative elements of what is wrong with this country. The sooner they are both gone from the landscape of America, the better America will be.

  • PatrickHenrysBody

Good for Rand Paul! Hillary Clinton is no more remorseful and no more grieved by the deaths of those in Benghazi than Zero is. By the way, those stupid rules that the House and Senate impose on each Congressman and Senator are ridiculous! The House and Senate are not motherfu**ing country clubs, for the love of Mike. If it isn’t in the Constitution, it’s not a real rule. I hate the politically correct society we have allowed ourselves to become today.

  • Michelle Malkin is absolutely correct. Thank God for Sen Rand Paul, who hammered this inept incompetent liberal fascist ideologue with the Truth, with facts, with common sense, for her failed leadership !!

This is her job, it is what she is supposed to do, supposed to be there to ensure, to oversee the priority and critical aspects like the security / safety of US State Dept Ambassador’s and the US Embassy Consulates around the world as the US Sec. of State.. Not act like some low to mid level bureaucrat.

The deflecting, evading, excusing, ie; the bull crap from her is so pathetic, so outrageous, so insufferably disgusting, it makes your blood boil, just like it does with Obama, her same like ilk Boss-the head anti-American liberal socialist marxist islamist traitor-in chief.

  • 1endtimes2020

Ah, how it makes my soul feel so good to hear normal people say normal things. Excellent.

  • colliemum

So Sen Boxer had to leave the room because she was so angry?
That’s a novel excuse for needing to visit the rest room …

  • Kordane

And note: Rand Paul is one of the most Libertarian-leaning of the bunch.

    Fancy that! ¬_¬

  • JohnCraven

Should Rand Paul continue to confront this regime and the Big Whigs amongst the ruling elite of the GOP and Washington as he did Clinton, I think he’ll do great in a run for president in 2016 whether as a member of the GOP or as a third party conservative.

I’m not a libertarian – I consider myself a pro-life conservative – and I would support him if he ran as a pro-life conservative. The same I will say for anyone else who wishes to run as either a pro-life conservative third party candidate or a pro-life conservative Republican.

Shift the blame is today’s working strategy in WDC. DoS is so big Hilliary didn’t know there were requests for more security. DoJ is so big the AG Holder didn’t know about F&F. IRS bureaucrats mate up with HHS to adjudicate health care is the next liviathon to rein down chaos resulting from the ones in charge have no eye in unintended consequences. Linked up with total failure to think through the implications. Math, however, is coming. And Math’s best friend is Reality.

  • Tiffini

When I heard Rand Paul speak, it made me realize how much I miss, good old fashion common sense. Common sense tells us that in a normal Admin, Hillary would have been forced to resign and her hopes for 2016 presidential run ruined, especially since it happened right before an election, but since very few politicians these days have common sense and the media is just another of the Borg, she gets a free pass and Rand Paul’s real question, the one about gunning running via Turkey, is ignored almost completely. At this point and I do realize there’s probably a handful of good congressman/woman and senators out there, but they all need fired.

  • cabensg

The Borg segments, part of the Star Trek TV show were better than most Sci Fi movies. It was brilliant.

Malkin is right it seems Rand is among a very few who haven’t been assimilated.

  • Grumpa37

Anyone who can draw concentrated hatred from the left has whatever small support I can provide, but how long can anyone rub elbows against the borg without yielding to the perks of slow assimilation? We need term limits for the health of our best public servants.

    • We do they’re called elections, vote them out!
