Michelle Malkin wonders where Republican voices are like Paul Ryan who used to be such a strong voice on fiscal issues and on the real crisis of entitlement spending to put this sequestration into focus. She says that if Republicans are going to fight back against the demagoguery of the president, they need to go on late night TV shows and other venues where there are many who need to be educated on the reality of this sequestration.

And there’s more. Watch:

The World’s Greatest Welfare Recipients: Barack And Michelle Obama!

As most of the taxpayers in America are upset with the low information voters who game the welfare system and refuse to work an honest day in their life to contribute, one thing stands clear. They have great teachers.

Your typical professional welfare gamer has no problem using their food stamp card to purchase steak and lobster; we have seen this with our own eyes many times in the supermarket. They are handed free housing, free medical care, free child care for the many illegitimate children that they may have, cash assistance, and any other perk that may be available. All without working a day in their life.

Sound familiar? We have a man and his family (including his mother-in-law) living in a house that is owned by the American taxpayer, being fed with food supplied by the American taxpayer, who is able to party with the rich and famous on the American taxpayer’s dime and take separate vacations from his wife, also at the taxpayer’s expense.

Forget about Republicans in general and let conservative Republicans appear on the venues Michelle Malkin recommends.

No thanks. We let them get away with relying on conservatives to do the hard work for them only to blame them when they don't get what is wanted. Let the GOP do their FREAKING jobs for once.

I really am in agreement with you; I have lived my entire life in a blue state. In New York, rarely do you find a candidate for federal office that is not on both the Republican and Conservative lines. Thus, they are one of the same and that's the only reason I called for conservative Republicans.

How ironic is it that the President wants to downsize the military, while arming our enemies, and now gets to turn around , on his idea, and blame the republicans??? I can't even think in terms of millions, so trillions was a good move on their part, we can all just say we are doing great at least he hasn't spent a trillion yet ..Are you kidding me we are doomed!!

She is great and right on the money. Ryan has been MIA since the election and his actions indicate he is cementing his status as part of the GOPe (probably listening to Rove).

Where's Michelle Bachmann? Did Obama send her off with former GM CEO Rick Wagoner?

She cast the vote which put Boehner back in the speaker's chair. Her priorities have changed, obviously.

Violence will soon become the most effective answer to political problems as history has shown us when society unravels.

Here are a couple of truths as I see them:

- Obama wants to utterly destroy the GOP (and America)

- The media is covering up all the lies and crap coming from this pResident

- The Republicans appear to be more than happy with helping Obama do it

- This is a manufactured crisis and once again, the GOP is falling down

- There are too many numbers being thrown around - no one is being honest or consistent with what they are quoting

Michelle (as always) is spot on.

All of this is inconsequential to the bigger problems facing America (especially the lying media and the evil that is the pResident of this nation).

I'm still trying to recover from Rick Scott caving in to Obamacare in Florida. We will NEVER win the war if our Republican and so-called conservative Governors concede battles like this. I know the enemy in front of me... but to be blindsided (fracked) by so-called allies who are beside or behind me, stings my soul. No one was more outspoken against Obamacare than Rick Scott at one time... and now he's part of the borg collective. And Al Sharpton is dripping with glee over it.

Sober, sometimes you are just so clear on the issues. Sure feels good to read.

We now have two parties. The Far Left Party and The Slightly Less Far Left Party. These SOBs are in a battle to maintain their power and agenda and could care less about the American people. The republican party has abandoned conservative values and is dead.

I believe like others here that it is time for a new Third Party that 100% backs our Constitution as the law of the land. We have nothing to lose.

I'm with you, Jack; I'm mad as hell, too!

More and more grassroots support is building for a Constitutional Party. What a refreshing change from the cowardly RINOs currently in Washington!

Paul Ryan scrandels the fence all the time and I am just so sick of him. He has been there for 14 years and has not made any gains. Shameful!

Ah, Steve Doocey ... I guess he did not get the memo (from Politico) that the MSM are manipulated.

Very eery. Everyone in DC seems to have lost their voice. Not just Ryan, but all of Congress and now, Governors.

That's if any late night show wants to invite him or any other fiscal Republicans onto their shows to defend their stance. Being that far in Obama's colon is quite the hindrance to a balanced discussion on anything.

We were talking today about Paul Ryan and his campaigning with his mom who is on Medicare. He wanted to keep it sound for her (and the rest of us on it now).

In December I had my left shoulder replaced. All went well and I am now in rehab BUT not for long. My right shoulder has to be replaced too (hopefully in July) but I learned yesterday that my time in rehab is limited....only so many sessions in one calendar year. I have to stop going next week in order to save sessions for my next surgery rehab.

THANK YOU OBAMA!!!!

He refuses to discuss Medicare overhaul....just plans to keep "trimming" services for those of us already on Medicare. We are old and useless in his opinion...Fair?

My therapist is going to teach me things to do at home but she is furious!!! She says that the situation can even change between now and July....constant changes coming down from "above (Kathleen Sebelius??)".

And I still have to find out if Home Health will be available for my second surgery as it continued into mid January 2013 from December 2012. They came daily to change the bandage. My husband may have to learn how!

And I am just one of how many affected?

Seniors are now expendable!

Thanks for the tip...revealing info there.

I guess we old folks just have to bite the bullet and live with it but I, for one, will not do it quietly!

The good news is that you don't have to live with it. The truth is out and we need to pressure the House to do their d@mn jobs. They control the funding not Obama. Saw this yesterday even though it was from 2011. The can hold this Admin accountable for their lies!

We have been noticing this trend for a while now too. You are on top of things but many people on medicare are not aware and neither are their families. We are now indeed letting people die, who even a few years ago would have a few options for treatment.

Another troubling thing we saw (but will not work in anymore) is relatively unconstrained care to medicaid patients. With the kids we worked with, even the illegals got far better access to care that medicare patients. This is one reason the governors are selling themselves out to get fed money to prop up bankrupt state medicaid programs. They can cut Medicare, but old people dying early does not even make the news, Cut care to poor families, black children and hispanic anchor babies.... and their political careers are over.

anneinarkansas
anneinarkansas

The only reason I am on top of it is that I am a curious person. One day I asked my therapist about something I saw another patient doing (knee replacement patient). It involved an ice pack but also some kind compression. She told me that she never uses it without first explaining to the patient that there is an extra charge for it that they do not tell you about....just send you a bill.

Then, I kept looking at a sign that said patients are responsible for their own payments and limits. That is why I started asking more questions. I still do not have all of the answers...plan to get more into it with my doctor next visit.

Yes, I watched in the nursing homes of two of my now deceased relatives as Medicaid patients received much better care than Medicare patients.

The RINOs are all on board with the Rove strategy of assuming the position and letting Obama have his way.

Oh by the way a new Reuters/Ipsos poll says 53% of Americans believe MOST illegal aliens should be deported. So if there are 10 million we should deport say 9 million and keep the ones who have never been arrested, convicted of a crime or been on welfare. I'd sign on to that if documentation was given out in a phased manner upon completion of certain immigration enforcement metrics.

OneThinDime
OneThinDime

Allowing amnesty for anyone who has violated the law will only bring more that violate the law. Illegal entry and remaining are illegal acts. Working for cash, failing to file tax returns, failing to pay federal, state and local taxes are also felonies. Deport 100%! Seal the border, patrol it with armed drones and armed national guard and border patrol.

Wigglesworth

Agreed! My preference is to deport all illegal aliens.

We are on to the politicians game. These "cuts" slow the rate of growth, cutting nothing.

But of course the sky is falling, and all essential services will end. We will all DIE. Standard procedure for politicians.

We need to end professional politicians and replace with citizens there for a brief time.

Yes, where is Paul Ryan? He sure had a lot to say prior to being chosen

for VP candidate; NOW he is silent? Look at his record; a rubber stamper

for the most part.

WI4Walker

Since the election, I have been waiting, (and waiting, and waiting) to see how Ryan comes back.

He has been suspiciously absent and I can't quite put my finger on what is going on. Fine, lick your wounds for a little bit, but to basically disappear?

I have disagreed with many of his votes, but don't think he's the schmuck that some make him out to be. I will admit to perhaps some Badger state bias, although he's not from my district.

Just can't quite figure it out.

If you research his record for approximately 8 years prior to running for

I have been posting this chart a lot because it exposes the charade that the Republicans, Democrats and media are engaged in around the sequester "crisis".

Federal spending is going up not down. The sequester "cuts" are not cuts, they just are less of an increase.

Good for you....however, it is the low information voter or the liberal who only listens to a station we shall not name that is duped to believing what Obama wants them to believe. If the MSM would just come out and tell the people the truth...we just may have a shot of changing this country.

Malkin is right however....the GOP needs to take to mass media CONSTANTLY to try and reach EVERYONE with the truth!

None of the broadcast, cable or print media will level with America. They cannot. They are not capable nor allowed.

It is the "noble lie" 24 hours a day in high definition.

Excellent. Some people have bought into Boehner's claptrap but people like Levin and Malkin have been mercilessly exposing this sham 'debate'.

And yet the only messaging campaign the Repubics are engaged in is to argue that these horrible cuts were Obama's idea. Amazing and so sad that smart people like Mark Levin want us to believe the GOP can be reformed.

We'll see what the deficit is at the end of the year. It will probably be over $1 trillion again depending on how the economy reacts to all the new tax increases. It probably won't generate the amount of revenue the CBO estimated.
