Missouri Gov calls in National Guard to help restore peace in Ferguson

Well haven’t we gone nearly full circle in Ferguson. They don’t like it when the police use military vehicles and now it’s gotten so bad they are calling in the actual military:

Things in Ferguson have gotten so unruly that Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has called National Guard troops to the St. Louis suburb. “Given these deliberate, coordinated and intensifying violent attacks on lives and property in Ferguson, I am directing the highly capable men and women of the Missouri National Guard … in restoring peace and order to this community,” he said in a statement.

I also heard on Fox News this morning that the governor is now criticizing the police for releasing the store surveillance where Michael Brown wash shown robbing a store and assaulting/intimidating the store clerk. Figures he’d want to blame the violence on something else other than blaming the individuals themselves.
