Mitt Romney can’t win – MSNBC attacks him all day for being charitable to hurricane victims

So earlier today Mitt Romney turned what was supposed to be a campaign rally into a massive donation drive to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. He only spoke for 10 minutes on how we come together as a nation and didn’t even take center stage to do it. Yet for all the charity and benevolence involved, the leftists at MSNBC still attacks him over it accusing him of politicizing it and using the storm to get votes or something.

These people really are at the bottom of the news-crap barrel.

When did we decide that the Red Cross got to determine what and when we give? Do they have a monopoly on charitable giving? I’m always highly suspicious of organizations that want my money and then tell me exactly how much I can give (like a minimum donation of $10 or the new “fad” of $19 per month).

    • Orangeone

And $19 is the new Obama donation # too. I refuse to ever donate to the Red Cross, bunch of thieves.

      • 3seven77

In college I dated a guy whose mom worked for the Red Cross. I remember she told me once how angry she was that the Red Cross was spending thousands of dollars on a parade float, when the office she worked in didn’t even have a proper refrigerator to store blood donations in.

Another old gentleman told me the Red Cross used to give soldiers cookies and donuts…. and then charge them for their treats.

        • Orangeone

Scandalous.  We need a conservative relief organization!

      • unclesamnephew

the nurses of the local blood donation center, are members of S.E.I.U..

        • Orangeone

WTH?  No wonder donations are driven that direction with “may be used” directions never to be seen again!

    • B-Funk

My Grandpa- who was an intelligence operative in the Pacific in WWII- always told this story of why he didn’t like the Red Cross. He said that no matter where he went, the only people the Red Cross would help is Officers, whereas, his favorite charity, the Salvation Army treated everyone with equal respect and charity. Even the lowliest of soldiers received the best care possible. Seems like nothing has been done that would change his view of them.

      • Watcherinla

My father told me the same story. The Red Cross always had their hands out for money. It didn’t matter where his ship docked during WWII, the Salvation Army was always there – all hours, all weather, to take care of the sailors and never asked for a dime.

    • smmy33

And there stupid too…. In the speech Romney says clearly , that they will load trucks, they’ve already commissioned , that will drive to a specific place that they have already set up in New Jersey to handle the donations…

So WTF does Red Cross have to do with it, they aren’t telling people to dump donations at a Red Cross centre or they them.

These leftist pieces of crack.. Would destroy America if we let them, everything is seen through a hypocritical bitter prism…brutal way to exist or a democracy to function.

    • keninil

I think the Red Cross and United Way are mostly in business to provide lucrative jobs for those admins at the top. They aren’t as bad as most, but far from as effective as they can be targeting groups to help and how to help.

      • 3seven77

After the scandal with Arimony, who was treating his family and friends to lovely tropical vacations with donated money, I refused to give any more money to the United Way. I still don’t.

    • SineWaveII

I haven’t trusted the red cross since 9/11/01, when we found out that they used the tragedy to raise money under false pretenses. It was supposed to be to help the families instead it was being doled out to various left wing causes. I don’t trust them anymore and I never will again. You can be sure that any money they raise for this storm will be redirected to something else.

    • NJK

I don’t give to the Red Cross.

    • theDUHgeneration

This is a perfect example of the left showing their complete ignorance of

      1. Charity and relief management
      2. Non-liquidity of personal wealth
      3. Nature of international business and job creation

    • There’s good reason for people to be skeptical when giving money to Red Cross, based on their past.

  • famouswolf

These so-called journalists make me glad I changed my major from Journalism to English Lit./History back when. My politics would have killed any career in journalism a long time ago.

Not only are they in the bag for o, but stuff like this makes the target, Romney, look better. It’s like they are cutting ads for him with such idiotic reporting, and they are so full of themselves they can’t see it!

  • sDee

“We’re gonna shove this storm right up Romney’s ass.” Ben LaBolt, press secretary for the Obama campaign.

Did not take long for the entire “free press” to get in line.

    • Stephanie T

No way! Did he really say that?

    • sDee

      Yep – what they said.

I took it with a grain of salt when I read it this morning then just like clockwork they roll it all out… like these stories TRS finds about “lean forward” and the media going after Romney.

    • sjmom

This is not going to work because so many people are without power they are not even watching the news. Right now the storm has impacted the entire eastern half of the United States. Only if Obama is able to use a magic wand and able to make everything whole again will they look to him and that is not going to happen. People are looking to their governors for help, not the president for help because the president plays a minor role.

      • toongoon

The White House is telling those people with no power to go to the internet for help.

        • sjmom

I read that. These people are not the brightest bulbs and right now they are panicked.

          • toongoon

I know right? Along with all of the um’s and er’s out on the campaign trail, I wonder how often oops is uttered in the White House.

            • sjmom

There are no oops in the WH. The arrogant don’t admit mistakes, they lie about them.

    • keninil

I think this is what they call politicizing the weather. Would O really do that? I thought that was Romney’s job.

    • WordsFailMe

D you might enjoy this one. Clear thinking Brit discusses issues, Islamo Nazi invasion of Western Europe, freedom of speech etc. in Britain. This Paul Weston may be a key player in the future.

“It doesn’t surprise me that there is a large pedophile ring within the BBC…” Lib answer: Well, they aren’t muslims.

“…criticize a valid section of Islam…We are not allowed to discuss the facts because it becomes demonizing and stirring up religious hatred…”

In Britain, they are no longer allowed to criticize Islam–This is a critical element of installing Sharia Law.

Paul Weston suggests the Britain “implement a First Amendment like America.”

      • colliemum

This is a very interesting interview, and the points he makes are valid – except for one. If Mr Weston really wants to do something (as opposed to talk about) about islam, then he should either have stayed in UKIP, or joined the Tory party, and work inside either of these parties.
The fact is that we have a FPTP system in the UK, that is ‘first past the post’, i.e. winner takes all. Therefore, single-issue parties have virtually no chance of getting someone into Parliament. Even UKIP did not manage that in the last election, they only get people into the European parliament because the election system for that talking shop is proportional, not FPTP.
Just like in your country, these single-issue parties take numbers away from the Tory vote, thus leading to wins for the socialists.

In any case – if one cannot manage to convince a sufficient number of one’s own party members, how is one going to convince the populace at large?

        • WordsFailMe

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I am certain that patience will win the day, though perhaps not in this century. Now these are just my thoughts on the matter and are not meant as a response. Just my thoughts on the fate of an old friend.

As an American, having witnessed the devout Muslim patiently sawing through the throat of an hog-tied American while the cameras whirred, I would be more than likely to join a single issue party. Your everyday, death-loving muslim did not come to Britain to build on its remarkable foundations nor did he come to the British Isles for the weather. No, quite the opposite–it is the loosely-held and little-valued British soul that draws the muslim to Britain as to America and he comes with the certainty of a vulture to carrion or a maggot to manure.

There is not one tomato grown in Britain that does not contain the very flesh and bone of the men and women who lived and fought and struggled over thousands of years for one purpose: to ensure a home and to secure the hereditary rights of Englishmen for their children. Not one glass of milk nor leg of mutton lacks the fiber that once commanded an empire where the sun never set and where today the collective guilt for such success survives under the same standard.

And now it is fashionable to be “diverse.” Now it is fashionable for communists posing as liberals to posture and postulate and quip upon the day’s issues while blood thirsty barbarians collect British virgins for the amusement of their sons.

          • colliemum

Thank you, and, needless to say, your thoughts and observations are shared by me and many others.
What many outside the UK do not know is that this flooding of our country by muslims didn’t just happen, as if by accident or fate.
It was engineered on purpose, by the Labour government under Tony Blair. One of his henchmen dropped the ball, inadvertently, and said that Blair wanted to make the country ungovernable for any conservative government. Here’s a report:

We now have the results of Blair’s and Labour’s policies.

I can’t emphasise enough that the British people were not asked, had no say in this matter, and that the leftie, corrupt MSM over here kept quiet and did (still do) their best to keep the lid on our outrage.
Thanks to the internet, we’re not keeping quiet any longer. Our anger has become such that even in the more ‘conservative’ paper, the Daily Telegraph, editors are disallowing comments on anything related to muslim crimes or muslim ‘policies’.
That doesn’t stop us: many of us just hijack other blogs to make our opinion and anger heard.

You’re right – patience is needed to turn this around, but I am confident that turn it around we will, certainly here in the UK.
On the continent, I do have my doubts. Even the conservatives over there are lefties. Well, they didn’t have a Margaret Thatcher, who amongst other things showed us that having a backbone is better than crawling on one’s belly.

        • WordsFailMe

Maybe there was a time when there was no England. And maybe there will come a time when there will be no England. But I would not for one minute expect to see a people who had defeated the Romans, the Spanish and who had rendered France irrelevant go gentle into any good night.

          • colliemum

Never mind – that gives me the opportunity to reply to your last paragraph:

Until the time that plate tectonics make the British Isles vanish, there will always be an England! And the enemy within will be vanquished, one way or other.
This is why, and this is where we are right now:

“It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.

            They were not easily moved,
            They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
            No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.

            It was not suddenly bred,
            It will not swiftly abate,
            Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.”

I thank you for this new light, my new friend, and note in passing that your voice indeed is even and low.

  • Damn if you do, damn if you don’t. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

    • Cindy09

      It’s a disease!!!

    • To paraphrase Shakespeare: First, let’s sterilize all the liberals.

      • p m

We can still get the lawyers too, can’t we?:)

  • Cindy09

Jeeze!!! This is beyond ridiculous! They seethe with hate!

  • Army_Pilot1967

Mrs. Alan Greenspan is a “thinly veiled” news reporter. Take away the veil, and she’s a liberal hack named Andrea Mitchell. I couldn’t even stomach watching any more of that crapola from those miserable liberal media types!!! Were there ever any “fair and balanced” news reporters, or have they for the most part been liberals whackos?

    • Patriot077

I like Rush’s name for her “Angry-a Mitchell”. She is awful cranky.

    • keninil

You will probably get to see Chris Matthews have a tinkle down his leg — hope they show the puddle.

  • Ignore these freaks and acknowledge what Romney at least tried to do. Obama’s team sent out an Email telling supporters to call a friend and ask them to vote. During a hurricane of epic proportions.

  • Army_Pilot1967

The lousy media types blast Romney for trying to aid hurricane victims, but don’t say a #%$* thing about obama not even attempting to rescue trapped Americans in Libya being attacked by terrorists. obama lets four American be murdered, but not a peep out of the media. How’s that for fair and balanced reporting????????? WTF is wrong with the media hacks in this country!!!!!!!

  • Don

MSNBC is a fanatical leftwing propaganda tool for the progressive/socialist movement that has finally shed their democratic disguise and has come out of the closet. If anyone thinks the democratic party exists as it has in the past, they are living in the past. When the communist party openly supports the election of a president of the United States and that is reinforced by the support of dictators like Castro and Chavez then those Americans who join their ranks are saying they are wanting drastic changes in the American way of life. We are a laughingstock on the world stage and weaker than we have ever been. Let there be no doubt the path Obama and his leftwing sycophants will take us will bring our country to its knees. Vote like your life and the lives of your families depend on it. It does.

    • Taurnil Oronar

The Democratic party of the past does exist today, it never went away. Instead of the overt methodologies of creating their own civilian army (the KKK) and openly murdering blacks and whites disagreeing with their desire to enslave blacks, they have taken a less overt approach. No new leaf have they turned over from the early 1800s it was the other side of the same leaf, the covert side.

That approach is what you see today from their own party members and supporters. The OWC in nothing more than a reincarnation of a “kinder, gentler” KKK but with the same goals, control of peoples lives. It is no surprise the dictators you mention support Obama, they are of the same cloth.

  • toongoon

The Red Cross is practically a governmental entity. According to the communists subjects are not supposed to aid with donations of any kind. All donations go to the government and the government distributes all financial, people, and supplies. That is part of the attack on the church. First, remove God, and then force everyone to depend on bureaucrats for sustenance.

  • KateNE

I am beyond sick of these people. They can’t even stop for one day. This is just low and inexcusable. Once Romney is President, it’s going to get worse. But, at least, I’ll be able to laugh at how desperate they all are now that their boyfriend is gone.

  • PhillyCon

You know the liberal trolls over at Hot Air are openly applauding this hurricane as a gift for Obama.

    • KateNE

Yes they are. Seriously disturbed people.

    • keyesforpres

Glad to see you are ok!

Not sure how it’s a gift for O when it slammed into blue states.

      • PhillyCon

Thanks keyes. PA fared much better than our neighbor across the river. Well, the “thinking” is that it gives Obama a chance to look Presidential, and get some positive press and have people forget about Benghazi.

Plus, the liberals will attack Romney’s position on FEMA. You know, the usual Alinsky/Rahm Emanuel garbage of “never letting a crisis go to waste.”

      • Patriot077

It paints quite a difference as to how he responds to blue states. Tennessee, Texas and Missouri were ignored or denied when they had their disasters.

        • WordsFailMe

That would be excellant material for the Romney campaign, or maybe the PACS to use in Ads for the last week end.

. I hope they are reading this!

Hot Air used to be a decent site. Not anymore.

      • toongoon

There are definitely better moderators and debaters here.

    • keninil

Hot Air is still a good site, but it does have its share of trolls making comments. It’s difficult to find the constructive comments with all the chaff.

  • MaxineCA

I couldn’t even make it through the first clip. What a load of pure crap. Fine and dandy, if the Red Cross doesn’t want the food collected for their shelters…… have them come out and say so. I didn’t know that Andrea is now the spokes person for the Red Cross. I’m sure there are many food banks in the impacted areas that would gladly be the recipients of the generosity of the good folks in Dayton.

MSNBC (NBC) have no shame if they are now criticizing CHARITY!

I, like many of you here, haven’t given to the Red Cross for years ever since I saw what a huge portion of their budget goes to overhead costs. I think the director takes 300 or 400K a year in salary, but it’s been awhile since I looked into it.

    • proudhispanicconservative

I didnt watch not even one, I dont want anything to distract what is going to be a very sweet victory on November 06.

          • colliemum

I don’t know where he originally came from (ME?), but I do apologize because he did work for the BBC in the 1990s, where he produced an infamous interview with Princess Di on the occasion of her divorce from Prince Charles.

So, I am truly sorry that he – and that leftist excuse for a journalist, Piers Morgan – ended up polluting your airwaves.

    • Patriot077

I quit giving to Red Cross too but more for philosophical differences.

I looked into the salary for the Red Cross director this morning – it’s up to just under $1million now.

Meanwhile, the Christian based Salvation Army, pays their top guy less than $250,000 and their paid positions are on the low side. I think 89% goes to charitable functions. That’s the best I’ve seen in a long time.

  • PhillyCon

There is one consolation in this: only die hard libs watch MSNBC.

No one watches this channel that masquerades as “news.”

These people are nothing short of demonic. Their goal is the complete enslavement of humankind to their twisted utopian statist fantasies.

They ally themselves with oppressive murderous totalitarian regimes, murderous jihady savages, anti-human enviro-fanaticism, anti-Christian anti-Semitic zealots, pro-abortion on demand radicals, etc, etc. [aka EVIL]

Suffice it to say, they hate liberty, freedom, the U.S. Constitution, private property, economic success, God, traditional family values, morality, or any defense of these things.

I won’t watch the video, as it sickens my soul to listen to their slithering forked tongues wag.

  • Clevername1234

Pretty much if you’re pissing MSNBC off, you’re doing something right.

  • What a bunch of scums, they are the ones politicizing it, not Romney!!! Do they not see that?!?!?!?

  • sjmom

It’s no wonder nobody watches MSNBC. There was a woman who called in Rush’s show today who was at this event and said they collected all kinds of food for storm victims. If the Red Cross doesn’t want it I am sure somebody will.

  • Nukeman60

Yeah, the donation drive was in Ohio. That’s where he was going to campaign, so he already had the place. Where were they supposed to hold this drive – in Altantic City? On the New Jersey beaches? I would normally say what is wrong with these guys, but I know what’s wrong with them. And Red Cross only wanting money is super suspicious to me.

First things first. We get Obama out of the White House, restore our government back to the people, and start this recovery once and for all. After that, we go after MSNBC and put them out of business. They should have to declare themselves an Obama Super-PAC and leave it out in the open.

It’s obvious about the mettings between MSNBC and Obama when they spend the whole day doing this type of reporting and Obama makes speeches declaring “Lean Forward”. We all knew it in our hearts, and now it’s out in the open.

    • Sandra123456

MSNBC is the true face of NBC news.

TV in general has become a window in our homes that brings all sort of perversion and slanted, biased news into our homes. A lot of important news they don’t even report on like Benghazi.

Perhaps after the election some group could organize a “Cut the Cable Day.” It would be a powerful message to the TV industry if a million+ people cancelled their cable TV subscriptions to protest TV’s junk programming.

Who need TV anyway these days? Computers can provide on demand news and entertainment.

          • p m

Trouble is, you have to take all the crap networks just to get one decent one (most of the time) i.e. Fox – not worth paying a fortune for one station. Here in Canada it would cost nearly $100. a month! No real competition up here. Thank goodness RS posts the really important ones, plus you can catch up on Fox videos and Sun News for all the show highlights.

Hmmm. The Swiss use a red cross on a white background too.

      • p m

Did you hear about the muslims in Switzerland recently, objecting to the Swiss flag because of its cross. FCS, the cross is the flag. Bloody cheek…just as well the Swiss were smart enough to ban minarets, eh?!
Talk about colonization. They never stop.

        • famouswolf

Yeah, I picked up on it, even sent scoop a tip about it, but I guess there was other stuff he considered more important.

I can’t imagine the Swiss would have delivered gas to a death camp any more than the Red Cross. A mystery.

No they won’t stop until we stop them. People better wake and see the existential threat Islam represents. Only our culture or theirs will survive. IMO, of course.

          • p m

And mine and many others…thanks for your reply, famous.

        • colliemum

And did you hear about the outcry from the EU politicians and leftie journalists after that vote! They were besides themselves.
Thing is, this was possible because the Swiss have a brilliant system, where ordinary people can set up a referendum on anything they want, on purely local decisions, on decisions for their ‘Gau’, which is comparable to a state, and on decisions affecting the whole of the country.
These referenda have to be held, provided a sufficient number of people sing up, saying they support this. And the politicians have to bow to the will of the people.
Not even the politicians who govern the whole of Switzerland can act against a referendum!
The Swiss take this very seriously, and will never join the EU (voted against joining twice!) because that set-up is incompatible with the way they govern themselves.

          • p m

Agree – they seem to have a true representative governmental system that we could all learn from. I do recall the shock and horror of the NWOers over the minaret ban, though am sure a lot of people’s hearts were lifted by that vote. Just shows that most people wouldn’t have approved of having their history and culture erased by their so-called elite leaders. Certainly the UK was in no need of any sort of cultural makeover. But that’s what you get when there’s an entity such as the EU and it’s run by communists…implementing their agenda.

It’s no surprise, because the founder of the Red Cross, Henri Dunant, was Swiss. He set up this organisation because he was shocked by the way wounded soldiers were treated in the aftermath of a battle, in 1859. As Swiss businessman, he inverted the Swiss flag, thus the red cross on a white field.

As so many ideas which are born from a good heart and a good idea, they soon get taken over by politics and bureaucrats, become perverted and live off the good will of people who have swallowed the rosy-tinted propaganda.

It’s sad, but expected. But what is even sadder is the fat phony in New Jersey. I hope Cory Booker beats him by 20 next year.

    • proudhispanicconservative

Thank you, for stating what I have felt the whole day, that fat bastard was looking for an excuse to commend the dear leader, and is not because he really appreciates what Obama did, (which is his job, and he has not done anything more then what we always do in these situations), but I know the reason he did it, he calculated that maybe helping Obama win, he has a better chance to run in 2016. What he doesnt know is that if Obama wins there wont be a country for him to run on.

      • AbdulBX

Exactly. His sorry RNC speech should have been the 1st clue. This just cements it.

        • proudhispanicconservative

He is another big government RiNo; or in his case fat government.

      • WordsFailMe

        Governor Smooch-lol

      • poljunkie

I am with you ProudHispanicConservative. Chris Christie was chomping at the bit- eager to compliment Obama. Ok, maybe he felt he was doing a good job. Then call the guy in private…stop being a kiss a$$. In the middle of a heated election, why throw praise his way, when your fellow Compatriot is fighting for his political life?
Ive never been a fan of Chris Christie. Ive defended him when people tossed fat jokes his way because I know how hard it is to maintain weight (since then I’ve seen him enjoying ice cream cones, and other treats so Ive decided he pretty much doesnt care)—
I like the way he calls people out sometimes but I dont like the policies he has enacted. He is even more liberal in many areas than Gov Romney- and not nearly as likable.
He is also not very frugal when it comes to his own spending. Remember when he took the helicopter to his sons baseball game? Got out of the copter and took a limo for 1/2 a block? Really- hey Gov, walk a 50 yards- it may do you some good.

        • p m

Yep, they have too much in common for any Conservative to give Christie a serious look – islamist sympathies re the judge CC appointed who has jihadist ties, global warming nonsense to impose a cap and trade scam tax. Two unappetizing peas in a pod.

          • poljunkie

Yes, here’s what he said today- “The president has been all over this, and he deserves great credit…He gave me his number at the White House and told me to call him if I needed anything, and he absolutely means it. He’s called me twice. It’s been very good working with the president and his administration. He’s been wonderful.” – Gov. Chris Christie

AB Stoddard was on Greta’s show and she wasn’t impressed with Gov Christies remarks. She said in so many words, that Christie was “planning ahead”, and not for Gov Romney.

            • p m

Traitorous RINO – and to his faith, for that matter.

        • proudhispanicconservative

Perfectly stated, he to me is a phony.

  • Sober_Thinking

Sorry Scoop… I just can’t watch it. I’m hanging on by a thread because of all the spin and evil from those turds. It needs to be posted and exposed… but I can’t watch them or hear their crap anymore.

Romney looked Presidential today and really did a nice thing. If he were a crud or politicizing anything, then he would go right on campaigning while Obama is away. Out of reverence and because it’s the right thing to do, Romney stopped and helped out in the best way he could. If those steaming piles of human feces wanna stink up the joint… go ahead. But you can’t make Romney your toilet paper… We won’t let you.

    • p m

Looking at Romney’s history and all the stories we have now heard, we know that it would be his first impulse to help, not politicize. Good on him.

      • Sober_Thinking

Agreed. I may not agree with his politics or religion… but you can’t attack the character of this man.

He’ll be a MUCH better President than the imposter Obama has been.

  • stage9

The MSM never cease to remind us just how utterly useless they are and why their networks are complete failures.

  • Who does this appeal to? That’s what I don’t get. Who are they helping? I think they’ve given up and are in full destruction mode. If Obama can’t win, then they’re gonna bring everyone down with them.

    • WordsFailMe

If you can’t run on your record, you have to try to make the other guy look so bad that your record doesn’t matter. They are returning to the politics of smear which failed as of Debate # 1. These guys got nothin. Tomorrow they will roll out the “dog on the roof” story again lol

      • In the last clip, they’re really desperate. What Romney said is true. They are shipping manufacturing over to China. Problem is that the US CEO is parroting whatever the Dems want him to say. The China GM CEO is saying that 70% of GM cars, including Jeep, will be produced in China and that they will move the R&D department from the US to China.

The irony is the “flat out lie” phrase. But to attack Mitt Romney for gathering goods. If Red Cross doesn’t want canned goods, other charities and organizations will take them. Mitt has done lots of this stuff. It’s what he does. These MSNBC hacks are really scum.

        • toongoon

Fiat owns Chrysler. Jeep and Chrysler manufacturing will move to France.

But in a crisis any truck arriving at the bank of the Hackensack River in NJ, carrying blankets, dry clothes and shoes or even hot coffee and donuts will appear to be the hand of God.

        • WordsFailMe

After ROmney’s election, I believe that the greatest impediment to bring factories back tto the US will be the Unions. They have so much money now, they do not need to cut into the cash cows of local, state and federal agencies. The Unions will block any effort to create enterprise zones, Right to Work states and legislation and will continue the destruction of a nation begun by its First Black President.

          • p m

I do have hope that MR gets that. Federal employee unions and teachers unions should be the first to go. In spite of the money zero’s channelled to them, they are still losing members and are not able to sustain current membership levels for much longer. The simple fact is that they no longer serve a purpose, and the more people see that, the less support they’ll have. On top of which, we the citizen can’t afford them! They’ll fight, but they’ll lose, IMO. Can’t come soon enough.

            • WordsFailMe

One single change in policy would destroy the public unions. Do not allow state COUnty or city government to withhold dues from paychecks for union membership. Each payday these organization write a single huge sheck to their worst enemy.

Require any public employee who wishes to be a part of a union to make his own payments directly to that union.

Membership will drop by half in 2 months.

What I really would like to see and quite frankly if I was a millionaire I would create a super pac going against the media. I dont know if that would be possible, but there is a lot of channels that would be included and will take a lot of money but is very important, these people have become an enemy of the people and must be defeated at their game.

I pray this kind of thing will continue to create more minds that are waking up, just as the one I heard on Rush today. The light dawns and then Let the sunshine in!!

  • proudhispanicconservative

Everybody here please post this on Facebook, please, please, and also twitter.

  • chatterbox365

Crap has more value than what MSNBC puts out…their ratings suck and the only people who watch them are misguided libs.

I don’t like the Red Cross and there are plenty of people who feel the same way. I will never give them a dime or any type of donation. There are plenty of other charities who appreciate whatever they can get and don’t act like a$$hole political puppets just like the AARP.

Romney did a good thing and the libs can’t stand it and will attack it no matter what. Dipsh*ts.

  • NJK

They are mad, because Mitt Romney is doing something that comes naturally to him. They don’t want him showing up this monster that they promoted. They know their man, just doesn’t have the same compassion as Mitt Romney, and it drives them crazy. Their jealousy is at a sick level.

This is how mentally ill these people are. They are just beyond evil. Every day, we have to face verbal assaults from these people. I wish they would just get the heck out of our country.

  • white531

I no longer give to charities, except my church. Charity is a business, in America. The salaries of those who head up these charities, rival the CEO’s of major corporations.

      • white531

I would rather buy a homeless person a hamburger, or take him to a thrift shop, and buy him a winter wardrobe, than write a check to some national charity, when I have no idea, where the money is going.

        • poljunkie

Yep, we do the same. After giving the homeless guy money for months and he always looking the same- I started giving him stuff. One day I gave him my hubbys old leather bomber jacket. I asked the guy about it a few weeks later and he told me he sold it. ( I was bummed)

san fran does provide a great many social services for the “homeless” but most of them refuse to avail themselves of it. they prefer the ‘freedom’ of the streets. most of them ought to be incarcerated or institutionalized, but that might hurt their feelings. as a result, there’s really not that much space left “in the parks and on the streets” for many new “homeless” immigrants.
you’re right about the weather in the bay area though…most temperate spot in the world. once you get spoiled by it, it’s hard to imagine living anywhere else.

Well, of course the amoral, biased and corrupt MSM would harp on about what the Red cross wants, without reporting that Romney’s website asked all not to send contributions to the campaign but to the Red Cross.

As for Bashir – I apologise for sending him to you, from our country. He’s by far the worst propaganda hack for Bathhouse Barry I’ve ever come across, and his venom is dripping from his lips with every word he utters.

  • “The campaign asked for nonperishable donations despite the fact that the Red Cross does not typically accept or solicit individual donations or collections of items because of the extra labor involved with sorting, cleaning, repackaging and transporting such items.

Chris Maloney, a spokesman for the Romney campaign, said the campaign was aware of that, but had reached out and found out that the South Jersey of the American Red Cross was accepting donations. He said that Romney’s victory centers across the state were also accepting donations.

“Whatever the Red Cross is willing to accept we’ll be shipping to them,” he said. “At this point, they’re not willing to put a limit on what they’re willing to accept.”
