Morning Joe crew dumps all over The Life of Julia

They really didn’t care much for The Life of Julia on Morning Joe for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that it’s gone viral with the wrong audience, Republicans. They feel it seems to give too much ammo to the critics.

But they also don’t like how it portrays Americans going through life with government assistance, from cradle to grave. Even Mika frowned on it, noting that it’s one thing to get a leg up, but to suggest that a woman needs government all the way through retirement was even somewhat offensive to her.

This is a very enlightening reaction that Republicans should all take note of during this election season because this is exactly what Obama is all about and this is offensive to most Americans, Republican or Democrat:

Hey Mika, what in God’s name do you think his highness and his surrogates have been advocating since the 60’s?

Why are there so many stupid people and most of them on tv?

  • steprock

    News flash: HE’S A SOCIALIST!

Always has been. Wake up, you dolts.

  • FutureOnePercent

Everything you do, we will hijack. This time we are fighting back. This time Conservatives are prepared for war.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

    • Damn right! Well said. Hijack their tactics, their premises and their outrageous outrage. It’s been working so well lately.

    • Sober_Thinking

      Well said! Amen!

    • DebbyX

Will that fit on a tee shirt? It could be your ticket to the 1%.

      • FutureOnePercent

Haha that’s a good idea Debby. I might have to look into that.

  • Has Obama tried any tactic that hasn’t blown up in his face in the last 5 months or so?

    • FutureOnePercent

You know, I really didn’t think Romney had a chance, but lately it seems like you’re absolutely right! Everything Obama does just blows up on him…

And when things aren’t going right for liberals, I have just one rule!

      Kick ’em while they’re down.

  • XXIIFan

Obama’s team, in a heat of termporary sicerity, has put out this silly Julia thing which shows how wonderful life will be with government assistance from childhood to the grave. It’s what they’re all about…it’s the way they want things to be…it’s the government doing for us that which we aren’t smart enough to do for ourselves…it’s comfort to left leaning idiots who want the government taking care of them…it’s pathetic.

  • marketcomp

Good quote from the Romney campaign.

Has anyone ran with a narrative of The War on Julia™ yet? If not, why not?

  • MiketheMarine

Well, this “Life of Julia” was really plan B but after what happened in Florida they were forced to scrap plan A, the comic they had titled, “The Story of My Son, Trayvon.” Whoda thunk ?

    • GreenBeretWay

Plan B? Isn’t that the name of the abortion pill? LOL

  • GreenBeretWay

The product of Pelosi and Obama procreating.

    • DebbyX

Oh no, I didn’t need that visual, it’s almost dinner time 🙂

    • EW!!! Doh! mind bleach!!!!! Oh how could you myGreenBeret?! ewwwww lol

  • Sober_Thinking

Glad to see that even the sycophants can only stomach so much of Dear Leader.

I’m seeing a nice turn of events and hope it continues. It may be that many Americans are really starting to wake up and have become educated on just how awful this pResident has been and they’re now aware of all the lies and propaganda. This may be the best thing to come out of a terrible economy and an arrogant narcissist-in-chief.

In 2008, I was sickened by how well-oiled his propaganda mill was running and how brain-washed many Americans were at this faux diety. Now it seems like everything these clowns (progressives, socialists, Democrats) are throwing out there is backfiring.

I hope this isn’t a temporary hiccup in their movement. I hope that all they truly continue to rely on is lies… because we know the record is abysmal and hopefully Americans are finally realizing this too. So, this is a good thing!

  • You mean that anemophilous Julia? – no boyfriend, no husband, and a child?
    Tsk, tsk, FuBar Ack.

  • It was like a bunch of liberals realizing: ” oh crap, so this is how America works, now I see why I am a dumbass…but ill still call myself progressive cause it sounds good”…

    • hbnolikeee

i am amazed at the use of the word liberal as well. can anyone see anything liberal about a liberal except how they are with our money?

  • Mika is a moron. Liberalism doesn’t inspire people, it drains the life out them.

  • EchoMike

Well thanks for dipping your toes in the pool of common sense conservatism. What I don’t get is why is it when WE say the exact same thing, allof a sudden I’m accused of killing homeless people or something ridiculous.
It must suck to live in such an illogical bubble.

  • GreenBeretWay

Poor Julia was born to a welfare queen addicted to crack.
Dropped out of school in the 8th grade.
Got knocked up at an OWS rally by Harrison Schultz.
Moved into Government housing, lived off welfare.
She became the epitome of Obama’s war on freedom and self reliance.
She has now faced the death panel at the Morning Joe show.
By tomorrow she will be trying to convince us all she is responsible for taking out Bin Laden.

    Ain’t socialism great.

  • Julia Gulia…..

  • brendawatkins

We’re all a bunch of damsels in distress, and Obama is our Knight in Shining Armor. Our knight is the #1 Smack Talker. What about the guys? Don’t they deserve Obama’s help? You’re supposed to be fair, Obama!

  • DebbyX

I’m just happy my parents didn’t name me Julia!

  • Spartan4Palin

Joe – “Hey Mika, you’re an avowed Marxist, what do you think of this?”

Mika – “Well, I could hear your reaction.”

WTF? Mika, he just outed you as a Marxist. No argument? No denial? (Ok it’s your dad)

Deutsch – I’m a progressive. I like the Occupy movement!!

The guest – ‘we may be soft, but we don’t like to brag about how soft we are?’

Joe – Even if we lie to ourselves about being ‘rugged indiviuals’ the government keeps growing at frightening rates.

Willy – And no one wants to think from the age of 3 the government is going to take care of us?

  • GraceKnows

If you liked this, you’ll love how Dana Loesch breaks it down at

  • David Boyes

    They’re talking about Julia, B H O’s “composite” girl friend …..

  • 12grace

    Dumb and Dumber!

  • Oops. Somebody told the truth about the nanny-state (communist) agenda. How embarrassing for Democrats.

  • The worst part is the response by Romney at the end. Romney just doesn’t get it. It’s scary. The self avowed marxists and socialists did a better job of understanding America’s character and trashing this ad as the anti-American garbage that it is than Romney ever could have hoped too. Brace yourselves Romney is Obama 2.0

  • Yup, cradle to grave minimum wage, all paid for by you and me. This is pathetic and oh so European. And we can see how well this has been for countries like Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Ireland, to name a few. This is NOT what Americans want and it would spell the end of the United States if this country embraced this type of thinking under a second Obama administration. No, this must end in November. If not, Greece will be the word to look for in our near future, not Julia.

  • People say the Obama campaign is smart. Who says that?

    • haha…Mika zhezhinksi seems to think that.

It’s funny to me how, over the past few years, the difference between smart and credentialed has become so clear.

  • These people are demented.

    Listen to their underlying assumptions:
    1. They acknowledge that the innate American character is the John Wayne image of rugged individualists.
    2. These Manhattan media types exist in a bubble of journalism (which is basically shoveling gossip, rumor, 4th rate “analysis” and bad writing). So the Morning Joe people assume that other people can’t do anything for themselves
    3. The American character is mythologic, silly, and that people shouldn’t even aspire to be self-sufficient human beings. (You shouldn’t bother trying because it’s an impossible standard according to these numbskills who live in the Manhattan/DC corridor)

The ugly truth of progressive-liberalism is this: they don’t believe people can do things for themselves because life is too hard for most people. They have little faith in the potential of what other people can do for themselves. They think achieving success is too difficult, and people shouldn’t try or do their best. That government should therefore exist to step in and help.

  • Nukeman60

The funniest thing I find with this ‘Life of Julia’ video is that it is a perfect description of the cradle to grave philosophy of entitlements of the Obama administration – and they didn’t even realize that they publicly promoted it.

The blind leading the blind. Keep putting them out there, Obama. We await your next brilliant video. Save the RNC some money, for a change.

  • This stupid slideshow inspired some really awesome tweets on twitter yesterday. I hope the Obama team keeps coming up with these brilliant ideas.

  • FreeManWalking

I didn’t thing Romney could win, but it looks like 0b0 is trying to throw the game.

  • FreeManWalking

The life of Julia as told by 0bumer,
he portrays her as a real up and comer.

Citizen forced to pay for her birth,
and everything she needs while she’s on this earth.

Like that fluke woman who’s qualities rhymes with door,
Julia is never satisfied she always wants more.

What do we get for all of our trouble,
to put her in the ground it will cost us double.

  • kong1967

They more or less want to be socialist but don’t want to be portrayed as socialist?

  • MerlePearl

Mika believes that the government should provide all the services that The Life of Julia describes. She just didn’t like the way it was presented. She would prefer that the message was given in bits and pieces. The Obama campaign messed up and presented the cradle to grave government that Obama wants, and that may be the fatal blow to this leftist rule. The word is being spread about Obama’s overreach, and we will be lucky to be rid of him and his ideology.

  • SaraPFan

I’m suprised MSNBC is shocked that Obama contrived the Life of Julia. Someone on the show mentioned it sounded like Great Britain. Where do they think the Democrats want to take us? Do they not have any sense of perception or vision? Isn’t this what Occupy is about? They want Julia’s life.

  • Jim Gilman

As Rush would say throw him an anvil.

  • NYGino

Oh no! Somebody left the curtains open for all to see! Quick, close them before……………too late, the truth is out.

  • This country has descended into a quagmire of government fools who think in cartoons and believe voters can be convinced by cartoons.

  • DavidScottMasiwchuk

You know when liberals know they went to far you would think he would wake up. This just tells you how out of touch Obama really is.

  • Suzyqpie

How about a song, I’m not Julia, my name is Lisa. Already been done, oh darn.

By the way, what happen to Zac? Could they be saving Zac’s fate for the sequel?
