Obama says that after everyone leaves the national prayer breakfast, “I start watching the cable news networks and it’s like we didn’t pray.” Well, there’s probably a reason for that:

I don’t know who Obama’s really praying to, but even when someone prays to Jesus, they have to be willing to be changed for change to happen. But from what it sounds like, Obama’s praying for everyone else to be humble or something and doesn’t understand why it doesn’t work.

This guy is a NARCISSISTIC JOKER – Pure and Simple

He thinks only HIS prayers are answered – What arrogance!

Maybe a MUSLIM shouldn’t say Christian prayers.

HEY ZERO – The Creator knows what you really are!

    • MiketheMarine

So does Santa Claus and about 200 million Americans

    • donalddt

When was Obama ever born again???? He knows nothing of the Gospel of Christ, he is either deceived by the devil or just flat out rejects Christ.

  • nosilasunny

Prayer works always. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it is no, sometimes it is wait. His version of Christianity is the problem…it’s warped. This world is fallen. It is not perfect. There is evil out there and you aren’t helping matters any, just making it worse.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/44F4AB4VSCTOCHBMBG4ZWWD5OU Laurel

Well said. Sometimes no answer is the answer.

      • Jean Knight

        A dead god can’t hear.

    • LadyMacKeltar

I agree. Sometimes His answer is “I have something better”.

We also need to pray with confidence, believing in the trustworthiness of God.

      • nosilasunny

        Well said!

      • crosshr

my experience, I’ve been dragged kicking and screaming for my blessing in many cases as my prayers answered !

this heathen of potus has erected a huge barrier between Answering Prayer God and his stupidity & idolatry. Good news , there are more than one saint among us that loves and serve this Living God we believe in !

  • Sober_Thinking

I won’t listen to the clip… I just can’t. Seeing his sneering face is really too much as it is.

Only God knows his heart. My human observations tell me he is no Christian.

Prayer is a powerful link between mankind and the Lord. Anyone can pray… and we should pray without ceasing. But this poser seems to pray out of convenience… when the cameras are on him. I doubt God will bless a pathological liar who has caused so much pain and harm to so many. God frowns on the hypocrite. Obama reminds me of the Pharasees that Jesus condemned.

None of us are perfect… but Jesus is and if we seek Him out, He will respond. Maybe not in the way we intended… but in the way that is best for us. If Obama sees no fruit from his “prayers” then he ought to examine his own life… not FNC or anyone elses.

    • nosilasunny

I don’t usually voluntarily view or listen to him either. But I did this time just to hear it for myself. I prayed he would lose the election, and obviously got a no for an answer. I have continued praying and will not stop. I have personally seen prayer’s power especially over the past few months. I certainly don’t expect him to get it. This guy believes in collective salvation after all.

      • Sober_Thinking

Yeah… and that’s a tragedy… he may be lost forever. I wouldn’t wish that fate on anyone.

        Good response.

        • bbitter

As much as I agree with you, our Lord is God, and anything he touches, lives.

It is up to each of us to allow that touch, and as much as I personally despise him, I hope Obama allows that touch. …now I need to go repent of my hate.

…I hate it when I have to do that.

          :-)

      • Sober_Thinking

God can use anything or anyone… He’s the creator and He is God.

I’m puzzled that you claim he isn’t able to hear… that’s simply not true.

And saying He’s dead couldn’t be more wrong.

I don’t know you but it appears you don’t know God.

  • Conniption Fitz

The Bible says if we regard, hold sin in our hearts, GOD does not hear our prayers.

    Problem solved.

Obama evidently prays that everyone would agree with and follow him, not Jesus, not Scripture, not science research, CDC statistics, sound economic principles, responsible government and spending…just his own ideas and wishes.

  • http://www.royaldukedesign.weebly.com/ SilentTexan

what exactly were you praying for?? For people to like you???

One thing you wil never understand is God doesn’t make people like you, you have to EARN their respect (I was going to say trust but he sailed that ship a looong time ago!)
But that’s okay, I wouldn’t expect a *cough*MUSLIM to understand how God works!

    • crosshr

      Amen, well put !

  • OLLPOH

Obama just prays that everyone would pray to the Black Liberation Theology, the Critical Race Theory, Saul Alinski Tactics that he lives-breathes-drinks-sleeps to.

And believes his “demure vain cultness aura” will draw the Non-idolizing individuals to bow and become worshippers of him and his celebrity-ness…

And he has a pleasurable hangover from the sweet words of stardom, Chris Rock calling him daddy and michelle mommy yesterday and he is the boss and we better listen….
or he will politely put you and the non-worshippers drone list…

So we non-idolizers had better snap to because he prayed to his bible of obama today!

We will only bow and worship our creator!

Too bad the Dark can’t see the Light as much as the Light can see the Dark. The Light has a much longer shelf life.

    • 1endtimes2020

Obama said Dr Carson’s Breakfast Prayer won’t have much of a shelf life. Now, let’s see….someone he knows said something that would fit in nicely about that—oh yes, now I remember—Hillary Clinton, when she said “What difference does it make…?”

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/44F4AB4VSCTOCHBMBG4ZWWD5OU Laurel

He embarrasses me. I really hate to say that because he is the President but I just find him ignorant and embarrassing.

    • 1endtimes2020

Yes, he is the pResident, alright.

  • colliemum

He doesn’t know what prayer is, what praying means. It’s not folding your hands and speaking some pious-sounding words and phrases. Oh – and one should at least know The Lord’s Prayer by heart – something which we know he doesn’t.

Lemme think – wasn’t there someone once, 2000 years ago, who said that we should go into a private chamber to pray, hm? I seem to remember that …

Btw – as for ‘humility’ carrying over into the day: coming from him, standing there with his nose in the air, that is rich indeed.

    • Conniption Fitz

Prayer is not, “MY kingdome come, MY will be done”

Would Jesus ask the Father to forgive Obama for he know not what he is doing ?

      I wonder tho !

      • 1endtimes2020

For whatever Obama does to hurt God, probably. It’s also up to us to forgive Obama, but would he repent and change his ways? His repentance would probably have a short shelf life too, but maybe if we pray for him, it’ll prevent him from doing too much harm.
Tough love, huh? Crosshr, you sure asked a good question.
We’re supposed to try to be like Jesus, so, let’s go for it.
What’s the old saying?—“more things are brought from prayer than anyone will ever know.”

        • crosshr

          Amen !

      • colliemum

        Good question!

But – those who crucified Jesus really did not know what they were doing, that they were killing the Son of God, the Messiah. After all, they did not believe Him.

We however do know full well.
We know that we can only stand with Jesus at our side. We know what Jesus said (John 14, 6), we know about repentance, we know about forgiveness – and we have learned that it is not easy to actually follow, to actually do these things.

So while we can strive to forgive BHO (which I find very hard!), and while it is not for us to speculate about how God will judge him, it should be clear that BHO is throwing the word ‘god’ around, but he is not talking about Jesus, he has never acknowledged Him as King of Kings.
All things are possible – but in my experience muslims who persist in their faith will not come to Jesus.

In the end, we must leave this in His hands, and perhaps we must accept that these times demand from us to learn from the early Christians: to stand firm, to keep our Faith, and to endure.

God bless you all and keep you safe in the shadow of His wings.

        • crosshr

          Amen !

I agree. The funny thing is that the person that I am having an issue with was through email but, once upon a time, phone calls were the norm. The problem with the typed word versus spoken word is you can’t tell if the person is having a mental break down or what?

        • 1endtimes2020

Aw, just be yourself. It really is the best way in the long run.
Probably in the short run too. “What difference does it make”? if someone is put off about what you say? What makes a critic think he or she is right, and you’re wrong? Most of the time. politically correct is incorrect.

“My hope is humility carries over everything.” Obama is an insufferable egotist and for him to mention humility is an affront to all who heard him say this. It takes faith to have prayers answered; but faith in God who reigns in Heaven not in Obama who keeps trying to sit on His Throne.

Jesus doesn’t answer to people who pray to a man made, secular deity, one who is put in whatever shape and ideal of the person praying. Jesus doesn’t answer to people who believe in “collective salvation”. Until people understand that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father but by Him, people will continue to behave as if prayer is just another empty speech.

It was my distinct pleasure to serve with some wonderful soldiers during my twenty-six years service in the Army. I met and worked with some genuine American heroes, not necessarily the ones with a lot of medals and awards, but good, solid soldiers that did their jobs every day, sometimes under very trying circumstances. All branches of the American military has fabulous personnel serving our nation, just amazing individuals that are top of the line. I miss the camaraderie of being around soldiers.

You would be amazed at the wonderful, dedicated Americans serving in our armed forces…some of the finest individuals you’ll ever meet anywhere. We received superb training, had the best equipment in the world, excellent medical treatement….and on top of that….we got paid too.

  • John3_3

Do you all want the truth to this? Here it is:

1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Ps 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

This is why, Mr. Obama that it doesn’t seem like you prayed. Because, in all actuality, you didn’t pray, you wasted your time. You are not a true believer in Jesus and through Jesus’ sacrificial death is the only way that we can boldly come before the throne of grace.

He doesn’t hear you because you are not a born again Christian.

The Truth has just been spoken. Isn’t it awesome that we can still hear the Truth when we decide to.

Praise God His Word endureth forever!

Ultimately, though, I have to side with Justice Breyer’s view of the Constitution—that it is not a static but rather a living document, and must be read in the context of an ever-changing world.
–Obama’s meaning…change it on the fly! Don’t respect the original-ists, Founding Fathers!

    Obama on the Greedy…
This is in his own words from his book “Dreams From My Father” page
    158 of 235 PDF Form:
The title of Reverend Wright’s sermon that morning was “The Audacity of Hope.”
He began with a passage from the Book of Samuel-the story of Hannah, who,
barren and taunted by her rivals, had wept and shaken in prayer before her God.
The story reminded him, he said, of a sermon a fellow pastor had preached at a
conference some years before, in which the pastor described going to a museum
and being confronted by a painting titled Hope.
“The painting depicts a harpist,” Reverend Wright explained, “a woman who at
first glance appears to be sitting atop a great mountain. Until you take a
closer look and see that the woman is bruised and bloodied, dressed in tattered
rags, the harp reduced to a single frayed string. Your eye is then drawn down
to the scene below, down to the valley below, where everywhere are the ravages
of famine, the drumbeat of war, a world groaning under strife and deprivation.
“It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day
than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed
runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another
hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!”

      Well done! Might I add,
      dear leader on religion:

“I think there is an enormous danger on the part of public figures to rationalize or justify their actions by claiming God’s mandate. I don’t think it’s healthy for public figures to wear religion on their sleeve as a means to insulate themselves from criticism, or dialogue with people who disagree with them.”

“Our individual salvation depends on collective salvation.”

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

    • Mary Sieg

I would like to know when is “White History Month”??? Now that whites are a minority, I think we should have equal opportunity…..and at least our own month to celebrate our ancestors who came over from Ireland, Germany, and many more northern European countries. My own grandparents immigrated…thru the front door at Ellis Island – in 1890. They worked, learned English and had sons and grandsons who fought in WW’s 1 and 2. Why can’t we celebrate that? It is my heritage. And I am not a racist, but am a proud American of German descent.

Creflo Dollar, Winning In Spiritual Warfare (Serie 36.1)

    • John3_3

Creflo Dollar? Are you serious? There’s someone that’s in it for filthy lucre.

Here some scripture that describes Creflo Dollar:

      1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Creflo Dollar is the epitome of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He is what gives Christianity a bad name. ….from such withdraw thyself.

      2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

No offense 12grace, but I have to call them as they are.

we can’t be too judgemental ! Although God’s Heart and Will are simply stated in His Word the Bible, HE is a personal God with a Galaxy size LOVE and HE reaches out in many times to human kind in mysterious ways !

        • John3_3

Not being judgmental, crosshr. Just calling a spade a spade as the Bible instructs us to. When someone preaches a false gospel true Christians need not keep their mouths shut. It’s our duty to expose them!!

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1Ti 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

      • 12grace

I am very sad to hear these things about Creflo Dollar. I wonder if you could give me an example of the false teachings he is promoting.

My point about obama is that he cannot understand the effectiveness of prayer because he doesn’t understand the G-d of the bible. He doesn’t love our G-d and his son, Jesus.

I think obama understands that prayer brings us closer to the G-d of the bible and this is a major reason he doesn’t want us to pray- so he pulls an alinsky on us.

12grace, just do a search on you tube “Creflo Dollar exposed” or “Creflo Dollar false prophet”. You could spend most of the evening watching the proof. If you know the Bible at all you will see the blatant false teachings. If you need help seeing it just ask, I can certainly show proof from the scripture where he is a wolf is sheep’s clothing. Look no further than the “health and welfare” gospel he preaches. It’s quite obvious. Creflo Dollar “prophesied” that all Christians would get rich in 2012. It’s OBVIOUS he is in it for the filthy lucre.

NO OFFENSE intended by this but if you really thought Creflo Dollar was legit, you REALLY need to have your eyes opened. I would be glad to help you if you would like.

          • 12grace

No offense taken. I go to links when offered and research information about such matters. I think we should pray for Creflo and all others that preach the word as they have a covenant with G-d to be truthful. And this is a serious abrogation of the covenant. And in this evil world in which we are living, the “dark” always look to bring down G-d’s children for any mistakes that they make while allowing the secular world free reign to be as despicable, as possible.

Also, do not get side tracked with Creflo Dollar, the issue is obama’s ignorant statement about prayer. I suspect obama wants to get Americans away from prayer as it connects them to G-d of the bible. And we all know how obama feels about the G-d of the bible. Go to You tube and look up obama mocks Christianity and the bible.

  • notsofastthere

Mr. President, instead of watching Cable TV after the prayer breakfast, you could read and understand the Constitution and a Christian bible. You may learn what it means to possess a moral code and understand that there is a diety higher than yourself!

obama is inhabited by evil spirits and those entities know that prayer is powerful, so powerful in fact, that we could turn the tide around in our country, if we ALL went to G-d, repented of our sins, forgave others and prayed in earnest.

    The Priority of Prayer

    By Michael Youssef, Ph.D.

Nothing pleases Satan more than coming between you and the Lord in your time of intimacy and prayer. He knows prayer is key to your power and victory over him—and if he can cut your power at the source, then he will succeed in weakening you spiritually.
A problem with many people is that they pray only when they are in trouble. Yet, the Gospel tells us that Jesus habitually rose early in the morning, before daybreak, to meet with the Father. If the Son of the living God gave priority to that time, how much more should we? Prayer and intimate communion with God was Jesus’ spiritual food.

It is important to know that the purpose of prayer is for God to be glorified. God is the focus of prayer—because through prayer, God reveals His goodness and power. Jesus said, “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father” (John 14:13).

Indeed, prayer is for God’s glory, not just our needs. However, when God meets our needs, He is glorified. There are some who see prayer simply as lining up with what God has already foreordained, and there is nothing we can do other than conform to His will. On the other hand, there are those who think that prayer is asking God to do what He would not and could not do without our requests.

The Scripture teaches both views—and we are under obligation before God to hold both views in tension. The Bible teaches that God is, without a doubt, sovereign. The Bible also teaches that God, within His sovereignty, responds to His people when they pray with a right focus.
There are people who are terrified to ask God for anything. This is not consistent with His will. On the other hand, there are some who treat God like a bellhop who moves only at their commands. Both are extreme, and both are wrong.

When children are young—and even sometimes when they are older—they ask for all kinds of things. Do we give them everything they want? Of course we don’t. We give them what we believe is best for them. If we, as fallen men and women, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more does our heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask Him (see Matthew 7:11)?

How, then, should we pray? God in His magnificence knew there would be many times when we didn’t have the wisdom to pray as we should, so He commissioned the Holy Spirit to intercede for us.

In Romans 8:26, Paul wrote, “We do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.” And that is why in Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus gave His disciples a succinct, meticulous, and comprehensive outline of what true prayer should be like—and it is called the Lord’s Prayer.

In Matthew 6:9, Jesus said, “Pray . . . in this way,” meaning “Along these lines” or “in such a pattern.” Still, we must remember that in Matthew 6:5-8, Jesus warned His followers not to pray like the Pharisees, using meaningless, repetitious prayers. To be clear, He is not replacing one meaningless, repetitious prayer with another. Instead, Jesus is giving them—and us—a model.

Jesus wants us to learn to follow the Lord ’s Prayer as a pattern of praise, adoration, and petition. It is a guide for our prayer life, not a substitute for it. When we understand this guide and use it, we will experience power in prayer like we have never experienced before.

He slept through the keynote speech and then hurries “to work in order to watch tv”?
    John/Jane Kerry/Fonda had a nap too.
Lot’s of praying going on in those two heads.
Surely hope that Michelle had enough to eat….that would keep her awake.
All of them should have listened to the doctor…he was speaking to them and about them.

  • bjohnson55

Jesus is answering your prayers Obama, you are just too full of yourself to listen to what Jesus is saying.

    • John3_3

      Jesus doesn’t hear his prayers.

1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

The condoning of 3,500+ innocent lives a day through abortion is not “righteous”.

And he expects his prayers to be heard!! How arrogant, how self righteous Obama and millions of other Americans are!

Even Satan answers prayers. Skeeter wears a ring that has an inscription that reads” There is no god but Allah”. At some point in time, Skeeter will have to pay his debt to Satan; because God’s (not Allah) justice cannot sleep forever.

Great post, Philip! Obama is a Muslim. He prays to Mohammed who was a murderer and a rapist. He had a wife who was 9 years old. Mohammed, Obama’s “God”, was a pedophile. As Walid Shoebat says, “Americans…your country has been infiltrated, your president is a muslim”.

        • tinlizzieowner

Jesus taught individual charity. Not once did he preach that it was the responsibility of government to ‘heal the sick’.
As for your links, Jesus spoke of faith in God, not ‘faith’ in religion. Morality is an individual responsibility, no government or church can mandate it, no matter how hard they try. This has been proven again and again down through history.
I believe in God. I don’t believe in ‘church’. ;-)

“Funny that other countries have figured out a way provide health insurance for their citizens with less money and less corruption”.

And most of them are as broke as we are. Well, except maybe for the Communist countries like China and Cuba, where the ‘peasants’ don’t live long enough to require it. Or in the case of the Canadians, where the wealthy come here for quality, free market, health care. ;-)

You can’t pray to end wars then send drones into a sovereign nation and kill innocents. You can’t pray for bipartisanship then go on the record tearing apart Fox News. You can’t pray for for an end to racism then have all of your sheep play the race card on every news network in the nation.

  • Nukeman60

Perhaps Obama’s confusion comes from the fact that he doesn’t realize we are praying to a different entity. While I pray to God Almighty, he prays to the god of vanity.

It will leave him empty every time.

My question is, do these leaders actually pray, or do they just make speeches and talk about prayer? God always responds to the humble and contrite of heart. Therefore, to answer the president’s question, the reason “nothing happens” is because he and those in attendance did not meet God’s criteria!

    Isa 1:15-17
15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.
16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,
17 Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.

    Isa 66:2
“But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.

    James 4:2-3, 6-10
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

God hears when we pray according to HIS WILL–not according to our will!

    1 John 5:14-15
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
