An MSNBC host last night falsely claimed that Republicans want to ban the teaching of slavery in schools because some states are banning Critical Race Theory:

This is absurd. The banning of Critical Race Theory has absolutely nothing to do with teaching about slavery or about Juneteenth, and to suggest such is nothing more than a brazen lie.
But Joy Reid, who lies constantly on her show, clearly just wants to gin up more hate against Republicans and conservatives in defense of CRT. I honestly don’t know why MSNBC keeps her employed because she’s said some real humdingers in the recent past.
