MSNBC host says IRS scandal not as serious as outing Valerie Plame, lying to get us into Iraq war

Karen Finney starts this clip by suggesting that the media knew about the IRS investigation ‘long before the election’ an infers that nobody thought it was a problem. She asks if it was a problem then why didn’t Romney mention it?

I guess Rush was right, that they knew and intentionally hid it. Or maybe they, like Finney, just don’t see a problem with the IRS targeting one group of people over another.

But then she has the audacity to play off the IRS scandal as just ‘bureaucrats making really stupid decisions’. She laments Republicans using the ‘culture of corruption’ to describe the Obama administration because of all these scandals, noting that when they started using ‘culture of corruption’ in 2005 it was about the so-called lie to get us in Iraq war and the outing of Valerie Plame as a CIA agent…you know the serious stuff. She says it wasn’t just ‘bureaucrats making really stupid decisions’. Really.

So the outing of a CIA agent is far worse than a tyrannical government unfairly targeting groups of people?
