So this is the thing. If your only response to Trump doing bad stuff is, “oh yeah well Hillary did worse!” then you’re already admitting that you don’t care what crimes Trump commits as long as they’re not as bad as Hillary’s. This is a wretchedly stupid foul argument. But it’s satisfying. Our side cheers, their sides boo, and then we go on to the next segment. It’s kinda sad really, but that’s where we are. That’s what happens when you hate the other “side” more than you know, or care about your own principles and beliefs. And it’s a lot easier to run on your emotions than it is to run on your brain.
