MUST WATCH: Duck Dynasty star BLASTS abortion, reminds crowd of the strong Christian belief of our forefathers

report this ad

This clip is fan-freaking-tabulous. I had no idea that Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson could deliver remarks as powerful as these as he reminds everyone of how the depth of faith of America’s great forefathers like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson. And then he rips into this abortion culture, arguing that we have a God-given right to live in our parents womb without being torn out, remarking that it is stunning that we would even debate such an issue.

This is indeed a MUST WATCH:

I want people to know that I was true to my word and watched Duck Dynasty and I really enjoyed it!

  • Laurel A And you’ll enjoy this even more. I’m still churning over the power of his remarks.

  • Laurel A

therightscoop Laurel A Boy you weren’t kidding about that!!!
God Bless him and his family…and I wonder how many misjudged that book by it’s cover?!

  • Conservative_Hippie

Laurel A Welcome to the club!

  • Conservative_Hippie

I watched this earlier today and then started watching the videos on the side bar (Youtube) of the other members of the family.  And also watched John Godwin’s testimony which was excellent.  I was also struck by Jase’s testimony.  The family is very grounded and is using this opportunity given to them from God to be a witness for Jesus.  The obvious question I asked myself was am I taking advantage of every opportunity God has given, and will be giving, me even minute as it may seem?  Very convicting!

  • stage9

Is he in Pennsylvania? Is that why everyone’s so quiet? They all look like a bunch of deer in the headlights. Northerners don’t know what to do with him! LOL!
Do you want to know why they’re so quiet? Because from the time a northerner is young he/she is taught in the art of political correctness. Never to publicly discuss religion and moral virtue in public for fear of reprisal. And everything Phil Robertson is saying is about as anti-politically correct you can get and they don’t know how to handle it.
I remember when I moved back to the South I was SHOCKED at how OPEN people were about discussing God in public and the workplace. I had grown so accustomed to being threatened by liberal fools that if I ever spoke about God in the workplace I would be fired.
    Forget the North.
    LONG LIVE THE SOUTH!

  • stage9

    Laurel A I told you you’d enjoy it. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. 😉

  • Conservative_Hippie

stage9 Since moving to Tennessee from Pennsylvania the one thing I noticed about the people is how polite and genuinely giving they are.  The old adage about someone caring so much to give you the shirt off their own back rings true of most Southerners I’ve come in contact with.
But let me say that not all Northerners are seeped in the falsehoods of Liberalism.  My parents were both Christians and raised us in the church where we learned to love God and our neighbors as ourselves.

  • Laurel A

stage9 Laurel A I really did! I’m going to start watching regularly and catch up on previous seasons.

  • AmericanDream12

Please where can I watch all the full videos you are talking about? Thank you 🙂

  • stage9

Conservative_Hippie stage9 How long did it take you to detox from the liberal brainwashing? I remember the first time my boss PRAYED over the food she was serving the company. I almost fell out of my seat. had that happened at the company I worked for in the North, there would have been lawsuits.

  • jdbaird

Duck Dynasty is one of two shows I watch on a regular basis. The first time I turned it on I saw them at the table about to pray, and I expected it to be a mockery a la Talladega Nights, but then he prayed a real, heartfelt prayer and I immediately said “I gotta support this show.” Now I’m hooked because it’s so dang funny.

Isn’t it awesome when a simple man spells it out and makes the truth obvious?  He doesn’t need to go into the what if’s and yeah-buts that our nation’s “elite minds” that just continue to lead them thru circular arguments that make no logical sense.  Ya got that, Jack?

Thanks for posting this.  It’s so important to continue to reinforce God’s word in our political arena.  As Phil demonstrated, they are deeply connected from the beginning.

  • davamdean

Phil Robertson will be at the Harvest Crusade this Sunday the 25th:

maybe it’s just me but when I watched this video I felt the holy  spirit.    It was a  very powerful  sermon   from  an  “avg” person  who  understands the word of God and what  this country was founded  upon.

These guys aren’t stupid, they built a million dollar company making duck calls plus i’m sure they are getting money from the show.  Any body that doesn’t think that show is scripted is not realistic.  But it is entertaining and I am happy that regardless of public opinion they stick to their beliefs and that’s not scripted well done duck dynasty.

  • JohnCraven

The following email has been making the rounds recently and so I don’t exactly know which weekend this occured but nevertheless I will try an repost it here for everyone to realize how close we came to losing our 2nd ammendment rights in the US Senate.
    John Craven – New Orleans
Talk about a Photo Finish Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the USSenate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:”To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”  The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. , and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

  • JohnCraven

Sadly, one of my state’s senators, Hillary Landrieu, voted to give our constitutional rights away to a foreign power.  Pray for Louisiana that we can vote her out at the next election and that puppet masters like Karl Rove won’t have the say in who we elect as they are trying to do now.

My home grown heroes – The Robertson’s are my heroes and all those who truly stand on the “rock that is the Bible” upon which our nation was founded like Washington and Jefferson.
Andy Jackson – “Old Hickory”, by the way, cobbled together what I think was the first genuinely multi-racial, mulit-ethnic army of volunteers in our nation’s history – Choctaw Indians, Volunteers from Tennessee, Creoles from New Orleans and “Free Men of Color” and Jean Lafitte’s pirates in the defense of New Orleans at the Battle of New Orleans on January 8, 1815, during the War of 1812.  It was one of the most lopsided victories in our nation’s history with I think 13 casualties on our side and over 2500 on the side of the British including a British general – Packenham I think who it was.
The people in Pennsylvania don’t look like they know what just hit them!  It was a “rock” – The Bible!

In the words of Phil Robertson, “there’s hope for America yet”.

There are situations the Robertson’s refuse to engage in for the show and yes, they get paid per episode to the tune of 200,000! Good for them, it’s awesome to see Godly men and women being blessed! God gives this nation many reasons NOT to reject Him!

    Duck Dynasty makes me HAPPY…HAPPY…HAPPY!!!!

  • Scolded for the Truth

reecesblast Washington did, in fact, claim that religion and morality were essential to the Republic–the Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people (see George Washington, Address of George Washington, 1796). He further stated to Benjamin Lincoln on June 29, 1788 that he did not believe that America would “depart from the road which providence [God] has pointed” (The Writings of George Washington, Jared Sparks, editor (pp. 391-392). There are dozens of documents that describe Washington’s commitment to the God of Scripture. Andrew Jackson, while believing in the Bible, was not faithful to it in the ways you have started and conservatives do not find him one to be exemplified. Robertson’s point is still on point. The nation, especially the democratic party, has rejected God to pursue human ingenuity, which has caused a mother’s natural instinct to preserve life to be replaced by her desire for self-gratification above her responsibility. Our forsaking of God has led to any number of horrors in this country, e.g., the “for fun” murder of Christopher Lane on OK by Black teens, to name just one.

  • reecesblast

Scolded for the Truth reecesblast Very true. A lot of the comments of our forefathers are shrouded in mystery and factual debate, but you’re absolutely correct that morality should be preserved. Whether it be in the name of God or merely humanity, spurious murder should never be overlooked. Thank you.

Amen. We need more Phil Robertsons!

  • NJK

Phil is a patriot!  Duck Dynasty are patriots!  He has more courage in his pinkie finger than the entire group of cowards claiming to be the United States House of Representatives.  What a sorry excuse they are.
When the NRSC called me for a donation, I told them I would not donate because they didn’t stand up for their voters when the IRS was targeting them.  I told them they were not doing their jobs and were letting the Muslim Communist usurper acting as president ride roughshod over the country.
Finally, I told them I want George Washington, not cowards who don’t stand up.  Please don’t donate or vote for those who will not stand up.  They deserve to lose if they stand for nothing.

The Democrats were the party of slavery.  The Democrats were those who supported segregation.  Did you know Woodrow Wilson re-segregated the Military?  Did you know it was Democrats who were the KKK?  Even when Abraham Lincoln was President they know what the Democrat Party was. This is the tombstone of a good friend of his.

Phil and the Robertson family are the real deal.  If you read his book, you will find a man willing to be honest about his faults and deeply grateful to God for his redemption.  His family comes from humble, down right poverty ridden beginnings.  He learned how to hunt to survive, not for sport!  Until his business took off, so did his boys!  This wasn’t a foodstamps dependent, government hand out family, EVER!  They are self-sufficient, God-loving survivors! The concept would make the government-dependent drones’ heads spin!

famouswolf, you may be right that a shooting war was only postponed.  I hope it has been postponed indefinitely because like the original Nero Obama 2000 years ago the current Nero Obama would blame innocent people for starting a fire which consumed our nation.  I honestly believe that the BORG Queen nesting in the White House is actively trying to provoke a shooting war in this country so as to allow him to declare Martial Law and make himself Caliph for life in the New Islamic Caliphate created by his best buddies in the Muslim Brotherhood.
I hope in the meantime people spread the word around about what their senators tried to do to us.  Maybe it will be enough to convert enough people to throw these bums out.

This is true, the knob.  It is also true that when Pushmataha passed away in Washington on December 24, 1825?, I think it was the year, Jackson gave him a funeral befitting the leader of the Choctaw Nation – a 21 cannon salute and a 2 mile burial procession and he was laid to rest in the Old Congressional Cemetery.
I believe it was the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek ? which led to the Trail of Tears for the Choctaw.  A great, great, great, great grandfather of mine was part Choctaw.
Andrew Jackson also ushered in the spoils system if memory serves me correctly.  I think he was a democrat too.

  • reecesblast

NJK reecesblast The point isn’t whether he was a democrat. The point is that using him as an example of how to lead this country is hypocritical. Also, I am not a democrat and am not promoting any democratic agenda by my statements. But we need to notice the actions of such individuals and ask ourselves if that’s the way we wish to behave in this world. His actions do not reflect an accurate moral compass, Christian or not.

  • Laurel A Send me your email addy via my contact form. I have a question for you.

  • JohnCraven

bahamianhoosier, Data was never a Borg as I recall but Captain Jean Luc-Picard did become a Borg after he was captured and assimilated until he was freed and had all the Borg devices removed from him.
    But let’s review the Borg:
The Borg Collective is the term used to define the collective intelligence comprising all members linked together into a hive mind via subspace transceivers and calling themselves the Borg.It was the de facto governing power, as the term was considered by individuals, over all Borg civilization.
The Collective made decisions as a single entity. However, the Borg Queen played an as yet not totally understood role in ordering the chaos of the Collective and the information flowing in from its trillions of drones.
“In their collective state, the Borg are utterly without mercy; driven by one will alone: the will to conquer. They are beyond redemption, beyond reason.” – Jean-Luc Picard, as quoted by Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek Voyager episode “Scorpion”.http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Borg_Collective
Sure sounds like liberals to me.

famouswolf, Sarah Palin posted the following on her facebook page:
“Like those 3:00 am wake up calls to join my dad duck hunting in the canoe before the school day began, it’s time our politicians wake up and hear some Duck calls from far outside the beltway. The self-made, hugely successful businessmen (and women) of Duck Dynasty made history this week with the “most watched non-fiction series” in TV history. What’s most interesting and inspiring is to see the number of young people tuning in to watch this all-American, hard working family — and learn the key to their success (as well as tips on how best to bag the ducks!).
“Todd and I had a great time meeting Duck Commander Willie Robertson at this year’s NRA convention. And just the other day, Phil Robertson offered some of their refreshing trademark plainspoken talk that so many crave from our leaders in Washington. Speaking on the issue of the sanctity of life, Phil reminds us that all life is God-given, no matter how small or how special.” – Sarah Palin, August 21, 2013
All I can say to that is “Ditto!”
    John Craven – New Orleans

  • bahamianhoosier

JohnCraven I know I know. I have seen all of TNG. No Data never a borg and Jean-Luc was. So even though I hate disparaging remarks about one of my fav shows I must somewhat agree. However I would counter-argue that Obama is Jean Luc (Licutus) and the Queen is Valerie Jarrett. She can’t be the face of the borg to others so she takes over Jean-Luc and he becomes the face for the drones. Still hate saying any of this. TNG rules!
