MUST WATCH: Gianna Jessen gives amazing speech in Australia

I was first introduced to Gianna Jessen on Hannity and Colmes in the 2008 elections as she came on their show to do battle against Obama. For those of you who’ve never heard of Jessen, she was aborted by saline solution yet she was born alive and thanks to her abortionist not being present, they cared for her. Because of the lack of oxygen to her brain from the saline burn, she now has Cerebral Palsy but she wears that as a jewel in her crown. She tells the whole story in this video but the one thing that is so impressive about Jessen is her passionate love for Jesus. Yes, she talks about Him in this video and the way she says His name might just rip your heart in two just like it did mine. I’m still reeling from it.

But I’m gonna tell you, regardless of your faith or lack thereof, this is a Must Watch. I’m serious. It is simply that amazing.

I’ve seen this before. She is a beautiful person inside and out. The first time I heard of her was when she gave a speech to the Colorado State assembly. Unfortunately, that day was when they were recognizing some feminist group- so needless to say, they did not appreciate this wonderful young woman giving her testimony. God Bless her, and thank you RS for posting this.

  • She is an amazing person.

In 1997, Obama voted in the Illinois Senate against SB 230, a bill designed to prevent partial-birth abortions. In the US Senate, Obama has consistently voted to expand embryonic stem cell research. He has voted against requiring minors who get out-of-state abortions to notify their parents. The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) gives Obama a 100% score on his pro-choice voting record in the Senate for 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Obama actually voted present. A cowards vote.

    • Don’t you just love how he refers to himself as a Christian? He is an utter fraud

    • Slowtraincoming

So glad you pointed this out. She survives the Obamas of the world. Light overcoming Darkness.

  • She gives a stern warning with a loving smile bottomless love. She is proof that God exists and that God loves us all. Thank you so much for posting this.

    Thank you, RS

I will state again, while the attention you give to many other posts provides information essential for our fully informed awareness, your greatest contribution to our current endeavors is bringing to light these clips that resonate with your Christ centered world view. The power you now wield as an agent of the new free press will continue to grow and the potency of your effect is magnified as it is mingled with the light the Gospel provides.

Thank you for this posting, I needed it tonight. I saw this MLnoK quote tonight somewhere else and it immediately came to mind after I heard Gianna.

    Martin Luther (1483-1546)

“If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Wherever the battle rages, there the Loyalty of the solder is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefield besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that one point.”

  • sDee

“If abortion is merely about women’s rights ladies and gentlemen, then what were mine?”

I believe we are a society of cowards in never answering that question.

    • Anonymous

Those 14 words in one fell swoop delegitimizes Planned Parenthood. How can they answer that question by Gianna? They Can’t!

  • Brifry

    Wow…..Wow. I’m speechless.

  • FredBarnes

I’m fine with people being religious, but do we need to always reference Jesus about everything? How about we keep religion out of politics…I think thats a swell idea.

    • How about you go somewhere else. And BTW, we don’t impersonate people on this blog. Goodbye.

      • JRNASH

Rightscoop, an absolutely perfect response to the impersonator. Thank you so much for posting Gianna’s wonderful speech. I had never heard of Gianna Jessen before this. She may be the best carrier of the light that I have heard in a long time. God bless her and the people who love her.

    • Anonymous

You didn’t watch the video, I can tell, because it has nothing to do with politics!

    • No Fred you did not watch the video so you are embarrassing yourself. Watch the video and contemplate what is being said.

    • John

“How about we keep religion out of politics…I think thats a swell idea.”

      That’s pro-censorship. We’re pro-liberty.

Let competing beliefs and values fight it out on the battlefield of ideas. The government should be there to protect this liberty, not censor it.

    Incredibly moving!

    • Antigovt91

Of course it’s moving, thats the goal…People exagerate facts and throw in a few details that aren’t true just to get a rise out of you and most of all to get all of you to hate of course Obama. You don’t think your favorite News Channel doesn’t sit around and think of ways of how to get into your head with their opinions but get you to believe its all factual. Now with no disrespect to Gianna, I believe the main part of her story, but thats not why she gave her speech…she gave it so she could throw little tid bits that would catch on to you….its all politically motivated. When anyone does this I have zero respect for them. How about she tells her story without using Obama’s name…of course she couldn’t b/c thats the only reason she gave her speech, hoping she could get everyone angry and bitter at Obama. I can’t believe people don’t get upset about things like this and things like Fox News telling their opinions but do it in a way to make it sound like actual facts. Has anyone ever done any real fact checking on Glenn Becks claims or Hannity’s claims about Obama? I really love it when they show a clip of Obama speaking or some other democrat, but cut the video short making you think the worse when if you watched the whole video the claims that Fox makes actually makes no sense at all. I would ask all of you to start fact checking, but I have a feeling that you’re scared to do so.

You know, I follow this site because it follows and highlights the guys I myself like, and I like to listen to the highlights and the shows while I do other things. This video did something rare, and sucked in my full attention.

I’ve never heard of Gianna Jessen before, but what an absolutely wonderful women, with a wonderful look at life. “I didn’t survive to make people comfortable” tells me how strong and courageous she truly is at heart. God always uses the most unlikely to do the impossible, and she beams of inspiration and integrity.

Absolutely loved this, what proof of the love and power of Christ, and how we all have purpose and responsibility in this life.

  • Anonymous

That was unbelievable. Truly inspiring stuff.

  • Cindy08

She is awesome and she is any abortionist’s worst nightmare! Thank God for preserving her life and allowing her to be a witness today of his love and power.

    • Anonymous

She is also Planned Parenthood’s worst nightmare, a Christian Pro-Life aborted female that Lives!

      • Cindy08

In a way, God has a huge sense of humor and He is the first to introduce the “in your face” policy. If I remember, Gianna campaigned against Obama when he opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

        http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2008/01/top-10-reasons.html

Obama later adamantly changed the story and said that the bill he opposed in the Illinois State Senate was NOT the same as the federal legislation that pro-choice Senators even voted for.

What a darn liar and deceiver!!

  • Some day we will stand before God and we will ask Him “Why did you let so many people die of cancer, AIDS and war.”

    God will answer:

I sent you someone with the cure for Cancer, but you aborted them.
I sent you someone with the cure for AIDS, but you aborted them.
I sent you the Prince of Peace, but you hung Him on a cross.

    • John

      I love this comment, Nick!

One of the main criticisms against God is that there is suffering in the world. However, how many 100s of millions of people have been killed by other humans beings over the course of human history?

We have lost so many inventors, doctors, biologists, engineers and so on thanks to man’s hatred of his Creator.

So when the atheist says, “Why does your God allow so much suffering?” tell them, “He sent you the cures, but you, in your foolishness, destroyed them”.

Indeed, if we just followed Christ’s teaching, none of these problems would probably still exist and humanity would have progressed far beyond where it currently is. But alas, we crucified Him – and we continue to do so every day we reject the truth of man’s destiny.

      • Very well said.

If we followed the guide lines set forth in God’s Word the world would be a much better place.

        • KeninMontana

Maybe if more Christians followed Jesus’ teachings by living them and leading by example(i.e. living them instead of beating people over the head with them) it might be a better world. Possibly once those Christians stopped denigrating those of other faiths even other Christian faiths, the world might be a better place. Perhaps if instead of paying lip service to “Christian values” in church on Sunday then calling for someone’s head on a platter Monday, the world might be a better place. Maybe.

          • Perhaps if people stopped pointing fingers at others and looked at the plank in their own eyes the world would indeed be a better place.

            • KeninMontana

I did that a long time ago, physician heal thy self.

              • Last night I sat around with fellow Christians and talked about how we fall short of the image of Christ. What did you do last night?

                • KeninMontana

Actually, I had a very quiet night. I worked, came home, enjoyed a quiet meal, perused the threads of the day and made an observational comment on how some who claim to follow the teachings of Christ seem to live them very selectively. Then they proceed to point out how others fall short before addressing their own shortcomings in their own conduct. I then had a nice mug of hot tea while reflecting on the events of my day turned in and had a restful nights sleep.

                • And the world is so much better for it.

                • KeninMontana

Apparently I’ve struck a nerve here, my original comment was merely an observation based on my experiences. It would seem that I’m not the one in need of some introspective evaluation.

                • I used to be a bitter angry person like you once. I attacked people for their religious beliefs. I felt they were knuckle dragging Luddites. The I decided to look at the evidence for Christ and realized that all the atheist propaganda was a lie.

The birth, death, and resurrection of Christ are some of the best documented facts of history.

Read “The Testimony of the Evangelists: The Gospels Examined by the Rules of Evidence” by Simon Greenleaf if you are interested in intellectual honesty.

If you just want to indulge your bitterness and harass people for their religious beliefs then all I can do is pray for you.

                • KeninMontana

That’s quite a leap, I’m neither bitter or angry. Nice “strawman” there though.

                • KeninMontana

It’s a heart-change thing. God looks on the heart, not on outward appearences. Once the heart is on the right path, it is easier to follow true Christian values.

            • KeninMontana

But are not one’s actions and words a true reflection of one’s heart?

              • Anonymous

Yes, they are – along with more complexities.

Sad to say many people in pews of churches have not really had a true heart change or are stunted in their growth process, etc.

Then there are always hypocrites – plus now globalists and other non-believers have infiltrated the churches for whatever purpose.

      • Laura Elliott

G-d also gave us humans free-will…the choice to choose between good and evil. To blame G-d for all the world’s evils is to completely negate man’s ability to choose for himself. It is a cop-out and the coward’s way out.

      • KeninMontana

Perhaps you should take a closer look at human history to see just whom was killing who in all that time. There is blood on all of humanity’s hands, no one is exempt from that,no one.

I first saw this lady when she was in her early teens on a channel you would probably never watch. She was being interviewed and her spirit is the same now as it is was then. So say what you want – but her message then as now was LIFE!! Not politics or any type of hidden agenda.

Me thinkest thou do protest too much…

Take a good hard look inside yourself – “The unexamined life is not worth the living”

    • I love how she defined a man’s role as a protector. That is a great description of what men are supposed to be, and it is brought into focus when referring to an unborn person’s life. What kind of man can “I” be if I don’t fight for the life of the most defenseless.

Most people are against child abuse, but how could a person have been convinced that abortion is not a form of abuse on a helpless person.

The challenge for men is to drop their political ideoligies and to stand up for what’s right— that was the take-away for me.

      • Anonymous

        Love your reply!!

You are so right – abortion is the ultimate form of child abuse!

        God Bless

  • Elmerfud71

No greater friend is there than he who gives his life for another. Abortionists only take life, along with those who abort their children. As she said “we are becoming hardened”. Our society is much more about death and destruction than anything else. People have children for the purpose of satisfying their own desires, rather than giving glory to God. They believe that they create the child and have full dominion over it, rather than being a steward of God’s little children.

It is better that a man tie a rock around his neck and be cast into the ocean, than to harm any one of My little children.

I do not believe that we are being judged as a nation, but rather God is allowing us to fall in our depravity. Though Christians generally oppose abortion, they often do not cry out when they have an opportunity. Myself included. She made me feel small in this respect. Righteously, I might add.

  • Jaggededge

    AMEN!!!!!

  • Well me and her both have Cerebral Palsy so i know where she coming from her faith like my faith in god is strong and never underestimate us.

  • John

Seen it before but nevertheless it’s an incredibly powerful speech. Definitely must-watch.

Really puts into context how horribly wrong the pro-abortionists are – although one shouldn’t need to see an abortion survivor in action in order to know abortion is wrong. Correct principle and moral instruction will have taught a person the truth about human dignity.

Does anyone know what the language in the subtitles is? It’s clearly a Romance language (or very strongly Latinate) but it also looks Eastern European… maybe Romanian?

    • Cheryl~

I thought it was some form of Latin as well! Don’t really know for sure though-sorry!

    • KeninMontana

It looks like it may actually be Romanian. It seems you got the Romance part right, Eastern Romance appears to be the specific group. Good Call.

Who were the bearded guys in the black beret thingys? They didn’t look too happy.

  • Lee0521

7 and a half months pregnant and she decides to have an abortion?? Stunning.

    • Cheryl~

It is hard to believe any woman would do such a horrible thing but I am thinking she must have felt a desperation so intense that it drove her to do this. As the mom of an adopted child I can only encourage any woman in such a desperate situation that adoption IS the answer to your situation. There are many many wonderful people out there that would love to adopt a child and it is the ultimate sacrifice of love she can give to her child!

      • Carolyn

Thank you Cheryl- and as an adopted kid (adult now) I can assure everyone, babies want to have a chance of life and are grateful to be given life through adoption. And we are profoundly grateful that our birth moms made the CHOICE to let us LIVE! Thank you Lord.

        • Cheryl~

          How wonderful!

  • Slowtraincoming

Her abortionist says that aborting babies is his passion. Proof that evil is alive and well. Remember, folks, the Left is a death culture through and through. They have a scarcity model of the world that views each new life as just another mouth to feed. Genocide solves the burden of over-population, don’t you see? But it’s goes further than that. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, was a eugenicist who wanted to eliminate “the human weeds” (black people) from humanity. That’s the true face of the Left, be it ever so masked by liberals and progressives. So glad this amazing person survived the modern Hitlers we tolerate in our own nation. What are Planned Parenthood Centers but a variation of Auschwitz gas chambers? Only we coexist with them in “civilized society” as they occupy space in our cities throughout the fruited plain – these machines, these mills, performing their silent work as we happily trot off to work and play.

  • Whenever anybody thinks they are having a bad day, or a bad life for that matter, they should listen to this lady. A testament to not only the human spirit, but to the idea that every human spirit should be allowed to live and flourish even in the weakest amongst us. Who is fighting for their rights? He is fighting for the rights of the weakest amongst us? We all should be, but we don’t. And shame on all of us for that.
