This is just fantastic. Crowder tells the differences between Jesus and Muhammad, looking mostly at their personal lives and then at a few of their teachings.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARING JESUS TO ANYONE much less a reprobate, pedophile, murderous apostate like Muhammad. Jesus Christ is the Holy, perfect, matchless Son of the Living God. He is The Way, The Truth and The Life. There is NO ONE like Him. Never has been, nor ever shall be. He alone can transform a totally useless, wortless, sinful, hellbound man into a New Creation. Call me weird, fanatic, Jesus freak, Bible thumper, whatever you want. I will gladly accept the identifying aspersions because they are to me precious jewels that will be added to the crown that I will one day joyously cast at the feet of my Lord and King as I willingly prostrate myself in adoration at His nail-scarred feet. He alone is worthy of all praise and honor and glory and power, FOREVER!!! AMEN!

As someone who was once willing to at least hear the case for Islam, the issue of Muhammad’s morality was always something of a problem for me.  Even ignoring some of the more blatant transgressions he made, there were just some very weird points in his history.  I remember reading in a collection of Hadith (words and traditions of Muhammad) various stories of Muhammad doing strange things:  wearing his wife Aisha’s clothes, sucking on his cousin’s son’s tongues, sleeping his head nuzzled into his daughter’s breasts, and other weird sexual habits.
It struck as strange how the Koran readily attested that Jesus lived a life without sin and met the highest standard of ethical conduct, yet He was relegated to a secondary status under Muhammad, who was (and still is in the Islamic world) regarded as the foremost example of conduct to be emulated by all pious Muslims.  This in spite of the fact that the Koran makes note of Muhammad being called out for his sins.  Granted, the Jesus of the Koran is not the Jesus of Bible, but even with this changing of His status, He still strikes me as being a cut above above Muhammad in terms of morality, and I would think that Muslims should rather their children emulate Jesus than Muhammad.

    • Is_Sense_Common

Insert_Cool_UsernameI can’t help but compare the entire concept of Islam to a bastard son. One who has deep-rooted problems and hatred spewing out.  With its beginnings in the life of Ishmael, about whom the Lord said, “He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.” ~ Genesis 16:12, I guess it’s no surprise.

      • Insert_Cool_Username

Is_Sense_Common Insert_Cool_Username It’s sort of sad if you think about it, actually.  God promised Ishmael and Hagar that Ishmael would give rise to many princes and a powerful peoples.  One only has to look at his descendants to see that God certainly kept His promise.  One has to wonder how different things might have been if the Sons of Ishmael could have excepted that God loved and blessed them, regardless of the fact that He chose to make His covenant with Isaac.  Maybe it wouldn’t be so hard to tell them today about how the same God who made a well for Hagar in the desert also subject Himself to the humility of human life and death so that He could reconcile them to Him.

        • Is_Sense_Common

Insert_Cool_Username  Things that make you go hmmmm.  I’m so thankful that He knows the answers and I can trust Him to be just and perfect in His judgement.

        • Insert_Cool_Username

Is_Sense_Common Insert_Cool_Username Agreed.  I may not have much in the way of life experience, but in my short sojourn on this world I’ve learned that when Man tries to do God’s job for Him, it never ends for the better.

        • doofuschmartz

Intellectually harmonizing the sovereignty of Almighty God and the responsibility of man is humanly impossible, but perfectly resolved in the infinite mind of our all wise Creator and Lord. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He WILL direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Believe it!

        • DawgfanInFL

What you lack in experience, as you say above, you make up for with the wise words you speak.
Walking with God is and always will be a wise choice.

re:  ” It struck as strange how the Koran readily attested that Jesus lived a
life without sin and met the highest standard of ethical conduct”
Yet Islam’s prophet, Muhammed, is exalted  as  the perfect man (al insan al kamil) an example of conduct for all Muslim mankind for eternity.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_20iAw3w_5Q illustrates the conduct of this perfect example to emulate – and stands in stark contrast to the examples set by Jesus while curiously Islam held Jesus’ conduct as ‘meeting the highest standard of ethical conduct’.
Conflicting illustrations of “conduct to emulate”  illustrates again the dualism rampant within Islam which http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Read.aspx?GUID=6AA49466-2575-491F-B712-CEA90FCCCD0Dexplains the concept of abrogation [dualism]:

*****”. . .dualism is the foundation and key to understanding Islam. Everything
about Islam comes in twos starting with its foundational declaration: (1) there
is no god but Allah and (2) Mohammed is His prophet. Therefore, Islam is Allah
(Koran) and the Sunna (words and deeds of Mohammed found in the Sira and
Hadith). . . .Our first clue about the dualism is in the Koran, which is
actually two books, the Koran of Mecca (early) and the Koran of Medina (later).
The insight into the logic of the Koran comes from the large numbers of
contradictions in it. On the surface, Islam resolves these contradictions by
resorting to “abrogation”. This means that the verse written later supersedes
the earlier verse. But in fact, since the Koran is considered by Muslims to be
the perfect word of Allah, both verses are sacred and true. The later verse is
“better,” but the earlier verse cannot be wrong since Allah is perfect. This is
the foundation of dualism. Both verses are “right.” Both sides of the
contradiction are true in dualistic logic. The circumstances govern which verse
        is used.”******

        • Insert_Cool_Username

wtd Is_Sense_Common Insert_Cool_Username It goes even deeper than just the nature of the Koran, but into the very heart of Islamic legalism and jurisprudence:  everything seems to depend on the situation.
I remember listening to a video clip once of a Muslim cleric responding to an inquirer’s question.  The inquirer told of how his Imam had requested they engage in sodomy so that his anus would be expanded so it could contain explosives to be used for the purpose of Jihad.  The cleric’s response was essentially that if it was for the purposes of expanding Islamic dominance, then it was permissible.
At first I just laughed at the absurdity of it all.  I could scarcely imagine a Pastor telling one of his parishioners that sodomy was A-okay as long as it advanced Christian evangelism; or a Rabbi saying it was fine if it expanded knowledge of Torah.  But then it really sank in:  this is just a part of Islam.  The fundamental importance is dividing between the good (Islam) and the bad (everything else).
This is how Muslims can justify so many things that are blatantly contradictory:  its different if they aren’t Muslims.
With that in mind, it’s actually not so surprising that they could take Jesus (even the watered-down Koranic version) and say that Muhammad was just as perfect as Him.  A Muslim can basically sin all they want, and as long they can offer some tenuous proof that it’s for the benefit of the Islamic world it will be accredited to them as righteousness.

“Without money or arms, Jesus Christ conquered more millions than Alexander the Great, Caesar, Napoleon, and Mohammed. Without science and learning He shed more light on things human and divine than all the philosophers and scholars of all the ages of man combined. Without the eloquence of school, He spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of either orator or poet. Without writing a single line, He set more pens in motion and furnished the themes for more sermons, books, orations, discussions, songs of praises, works of art, and poems than an entire army of great men. At the end of the day, only one thing matters, and that’s Jesus, only Jesus and nothing else.” Phillips Schaff….

    • AnnS

      vs mohammad:
Islam ran the slave trade on the West coast, East coast and Mediterranean coasts of Africa. Islam sold every slave that was brought to the Americas. Conservative estimates are that 120 million Africans were killed in the jihad that produced all of the slaves in Africa.
Yet ironic today (in America) young black males, especially in the prison system, are the most recruites and converts to islam.

      • Keyes

        AnnS
And don’t forget there are over 30 words in Arabic for slave and the most popular is “abd”, “abed”, “abeed”. Not sure the correct spelling as I have seen all three spellings….it also the SAME word muslims use to describe blacks….it means “pugged nosed slave”…which makes it even more ironic so many blacks are converting.

IMO this is just as telling of Muhammad as the vid that caused the Benghazi attacks. I’m hoping the State Dept is again  taking appropriate precautions with our Embassies, Safe Houses, Gun Running Centers, etc., so we don’t suffer more American deaths at the hands of so many Muslims that no doubt will be embarrassed and angered at this portrayal.
But then again, they are also tolerant and of the religion of peace, so I am now very confused.
Oh, dah… just got to open the kuran and see that they are only tolerant and at peace when all the Jews, Christians and non-believers are either dead or paying Jizya.  Hey, Barry… funnel some more money, ‘humanitarian supplies’ (wink, wink) and arms to the Muslim B’hood and Al Q so some of us non-converts may continue life on this earth, ok?

Islam is at least 96% political and not religious worship.  Hense, they should be barred from using our 1st Amerndment rights and treated as subversives and plotters to overthrow the American government through stealth jihad and/or creeping sharia.  Ref:  Bill Warner/Political Islam

“There is only one way to coexist with Islam over time. Islam must submit to Kafir civilization and we must never submit to Islam, not even in the smallest detail. This means we must all know the smallest details of Islam and that begins with the knowledge of Mohammed and his wars against all Kafirs.”
    http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/04/islam_coexists.html

    • wtd

      Well done, Crowder.  Encore!  Encore!

AnnS   Bill Warner is an excellent resource.

While the Old and new Testaments concern themselves with the love
and teachings of God and Christ.  The Qur’an instead expends considerable effort
demonizing other religions and the people who practice them (see http://www.cspipublishing.com/statistical/index.html).
Further,  a pious Muslim who prays the five requisite daily
prayers of Islam will recite the Fatiha seventeen times in the course of those
prayers – EACH AND EVERY DAY.

As Wafa Sultan states in her book “A God Who Hates”: “This verse describes Christians as “those who have gone astray” and Jews as
“those who have incurred Your wrath.” We see from this that Muslims execrate Christians and Jews a number of
times in the course of a single prayer, which they repeat five times a
      day.”                                                   execrate –verb    1. to detest utterly; abhor;
abominate. 2. to curse; imprecate evil upon; damn; denounce
         http://hotair.com/archives/2007/06/03/blogging-the-quran-sura-1-the-opening/

      • AnnS

Exactly, “demonizing other religions and the people who practice them ”
They believe their “religion” and laws are superior to all.  As a muslim in one of our courts said when arrested for polygamy.  When the laws of the land we live in are contrary, we will obey islamic law.  Sad that we should have to do this but states are passing laws banning any foreign laws to be used in our courts.  Oklahoma and Missouri are two.
In the Progession of Islam below:  But I believe the percentages have increased (in America to the 7-10 %)  since this was written before 9/11.

The fundamental difference between Christianity and Islam is that the Quran teaches that in order to go to paradise and get your final reward, you must sacrifice your life for Allah in a jihad (suicide killing/bombing, etc…). In Christianity, the Holy Bible teaches that Jesus Christ sacrificed His own life for you, so that you might have eternal life and go to heaven…BIG, BIG DIFFERENCE…HUGE!
