It’s that time of year for the best ofs, the worst ofs, and all the other superlatives the internet can cough up for us. We’ve already shown you the worst media performers of the year, now we bring you Reason.TV’s coveted “Nanny of the Year Award“!

At Reason TV’s 5th Annual Nanny of the Year Awards, we recognize those who devote their lives to telling us how to run ours! The nominees for 2013 are trailblazers who insist on breaking barriers that would have been politically impossible to confront just a short time ago.

From the War on Salt to the banning of soda, toys, and tables with sharp corners, the Nanny Staters in America grow bolder each year. Protecting us from having our feewings huwt, from ouchie-boo-boos, and most importantly of all, food that gross fat people eat, the Nanny Staters are here to protect you from, well, you!
