New RNC ad: Repealing Obamacare is now in YOUR hands

This video fires me up because it is absolutely the truth. It is now in our hands to repeal Obamacare in January 2013 and to do that we must elect Republicans far and wide who will repeal it. We have no choice this year but to win in November, and I mean win all around the country. We have to win Congressional seats and Senate seats and we must win the presidency. We don’t have any choice – the Supreme Court has seen to that.

I have never been as fired up as I am now to make sure that Obama is defeated as well as every stinking Democrat in this nation, especially those who voted for this monstrosity. The Democrats have gone so far left and they are trying to take our liberty with them.

But not only are we fully awake as we’ve been for some time now, we are also armed with the truth and full of the passion it takes to carry the truth all the way to Washington in November. If there was ever a Braveheart moment, this is it.

  • And all we need now is a leader to stand tall and take it to the enemy!

does anyone have a time machine i could use to make Santorum stay in the race?

    • MiketheMarine

I’d rather we resurrect General Chesty Puller. We need a bad @$$ed, mean Marine legend to take it to this government.

      • In that case, i’ll make West run for president!

        • MiketheMarine

I’ll go with that. He’s got my vote. Good call…..short of that time machine you mentioned.

        • sDee

In one short sentence Romney could call in the artillery.

He hasn’t the guts to take on this fight with a man like West….(typed as I pray that I am wrong)

  • TJinNJ

Bush and Roberts have CEMENTED Themselves as PROGRESSIVES…

Them them to the list of McCain, Graham,…

    Let the Fight Begin

  • MiketheMarine

I also suggest that those of you that live n very conservative states start pounding your state government to call for impeachment hearings on the Supreme Court Justices. The states hold the right to impeach ANY federal appointees. At least, they used to have that right. I’m not sure anymore, now that the constitution has been declare toilet paper.

  • trustintheLORDwithallyourheart

Does anyone know which Supreme Court Justice wrote the dissenting opinion? I’d really like to hear/read it.

    • MiketheMarine

I don’t know but I bet is was Scalia.

      • sjmom

        Correct…….it was Scalia

    • Amy

      I believe it was Kennedy.

    • 12grace

      Justice Scalia also opposed it.

    • carmtom13

It was Justice Kennedy. He said the whole thing should have been thrown out, that’s only part of what he said.

      • c4pfan

Wow, imagine that. At least he got it. It should have ALL been thrown out.

    • sjmom

Antonin Scalia…………my favorite Justice has come through for us again!!!!!!!!

  • Santorum? The heck with that. If we are going to use the wayback machine, we need it to get Palin into the race. She is the only one that has been consistently right on all of these issues and has the balls to say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done.

    • carmtom13

I agree with every word you said. Governor Palin needs to get in this race she is the only one who can save our great country. I have said many times Governor Palin is one of the smartest political savvy people to come along in many, many years. She has been right on every issue. Time for we the people to stand up for our great country.
The justices have woke a sleeping giant like in 2010. When seniors find out what has been done with Medicare they to will wake up.

  • keninil

Time to put the SCOTUS and the POTUS and past POTUS under ObamaCare !!

  • Donya G

Sad day in America, we should vote Obama out and get the senate back. I’ll be glad to help to vote them out.

  • FutureOnePercent

In retrospect, I don’t know why I ever had a glimmer of hope that the federal government would save us from the federal government…

It truly is Us vs Them.

    • Rshill7

We got screwed by all three branches on this.

    • KenInMontana

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.'” ~ Ronald Reagan

      Truer words were never spoken.

  • Sheya

This ruling will end up being the best thing ever to happen I think Roberts knew that. He knew conservatives would be fired up. If Romney wins and repeals ObamaCare Roberts will look like a genius.

Think about it. he changes the law to make it a tax knowing quite well that conservatives would jump on it. Had the law been stricken down we would have all been happy, breathed a sigh of relief and moved on. Now I don’t think there is any republican who won’t do anything it takes to defeat Obama.

Roberts handed the election to Romney. Now it’s up to Romney not to screw it up

    • Ludicrous spin. A republican who was put on the court by a republican just voted to take our freedom away, and people act like it will be a good thing in the end? LOL

      • Sheya

Just to be clear here. I’m not defending Roberts. I disagree with the decision. As you say spinning here to find a bright side.

        • las1

Sheya… very good points. You are probably not the first to draw this conclusion either. I think it is a valid one as well… for all the reasons you stated above. I think making it a tax over something Obama expressly said he would not do, is a huge rallying flag for conservatives to revolt around with pitchforks in hand. This is a shot in the arm to Romney who seems very dispassionately btw to have come out full throated unequivocally on the side of repeal. His statement confirms this… and his ad follows up. I’m liking the guy a bit more because of this.

      • 1vote

“get off the phone, ya big dope’ MarkRant 1:1

      • Rshill7

It will be. You’ll see, if you can get that blindness cured. I bet you suck at chess.

    • Cindy09

I wonder what Obama will tell us tonight when he gloats over it!! How is he going to praise the Tax measure that was not originally not a Tax? I wonder how he’ll explain that? Everything he says to that effect should be used by the GOP to repeal Obamacare.

    • Don

I totally agree, Sheya. Roberts by betraying the best interests of the American people and his distortion of the Constitution will make him a traitor in American history, but also the person who removed all doubt Romney is the only choice to be elected over the most corrupt and incompetent adminstration in our history.

      • 12grace

It seems that heads or tails the American people lose if we allow the gov’t to control us from cradle to grave.

    • 12grace

      Do you trust Romney, S?

      • Sheya

That’s a different question. but what’s my choice at this point? i hope that at least THIS promise he’ll keep

        • 12grace

          I understand, S.

It feels like 2008 all over again, many feel compelled to vote for anyone rather than vote for obama.

    • Guest1776rcp

The GOPe does not have Nancy Pelosi’s balls and will NOT repeal O-Care.

Romney will call the “O-Tax” a “fee” as he implements it so he can claim he didn’t raise taxes.

Romney says he’ll issue an EO to stop its implementation out of one side of his mouth but assures he’ll be a President that will follow the Law. O-Care is “the Law” now so Romney is either a liar or admitting he’ll abuse his power “the right way” which means he’s RINO all the way. No thanks!

      • keyesforpres

        You’re depressing.
You have given up. That is your choice.
Quit trying to convince the rest of us to give up.
        I won’t do it.

I just contacted my governor and demanded she not implement this unconstitutional law, that governors have a constitutional duty to NOT implement unconstitutional laws.
How about you? Or are you just going to continue with your defeatist rants?

People thought we were going to lose the Revolutionary War too. Thank God we didn’t listen to that.

        • Rshill7

Romney raised 300K in the very first hour after this decision was handed down. He’ll be swimming in money as will the Republican party. It’s 2010 all over again.

Complacency has just been handed it’s walking papers, and necessity, along with indignation, will fire up people even more than it did in 2010. It’s all or nothing now.

Will people stay home who oppose this law? Not any more. This is it. One last swing of the bat at this government grab. I think it’ll be knocked right out of the park.

          • NYGino

Glad my friend Rshill7 is back and answering the bell for the next round. Now you should put your flag back up.

Any Congressman that has the guts to hold a town hall meeting before the election is going to get a HUGE earful. Any Congressman who doesn’t have the guts to face the public might as well go down to the unemployment office and sign up now.

Can’t wait for the first question posed to the Impostor about this being a tax.

            • las1

Can’t wait for the first question posed to the Impostor about this being a tax.

Should the question be asked, here’s the expected response…

“Excuse me Sir… uh uh uh it’s not time for questions sir… unh unh… not while I’m speaking and the answer to your question sir… uh uh and the next time I prefer you to let me finish my statements sir before you ask that question is that this is the right thing to do for the American people… uh uh I didn’t ask for an argument… I’m answering your question … it is the right thing to do… for the American people and here’s why… here’s the reason…. (next line on the teleprompter please.. no not there… up two lines… thank you..) and here’s the reason blah blah blah…”

              • NYGino

Thank’s las1, now I don’t have to listen to his answer, you just did.

        • PhillyCon

As mad as I am … you are right. We can’t give up b/c our children and grandchildrens’ lives depend on it.

Past generations did the same thing as you note, and we should follow suit.

    • c4pfan

That has got to be the lamest reason I’ve heard yet! Roberts did the wrong thing so that Mitt could be voted in even though he pushed for Obama to do just what he did? Give me a break.

      • las1

c4… we live in very strange times… if you heard Levin’s analysis of the Arizona case before the Supreme Court… he basically says the decision just makes no sense since the Arizona stand was a stand grounded in federal law. And Levin excoriated Roberts in this case. But this presumptive tax argument here also makes no sense even though Obama’s presentation to the court took that line. I’m suspicious that Roberts may have another motive to give Obama what he wanted in this decision.

Because we live in strange times, I would not rule this reason out because lawlessness is the standard of the day for the Obama regime. Roberts is no dummy… he can see what’s going on here. I believe he took a risk to give Obama a decision that would galvanize the Republicans and put wind in Romney’s sails. Wait to see what Levin says. This should be interesting.

    • carmtom13

He is no Sarah Palin and Romney will screw it up. I don’t think he has the stones to go after BHO like Governor Palin would.

  • The supreme courts next ruling will be that a baseball is a football. Yes, yes, I know that the rules of the game, the players, the league leaders and even the fricken ball itself says it’s a baseball, but really it is obviously a football. It works just like a football, except for the fact that it doesn’t. So, a baseball is a football. Now you if the first baseman can clobber the hitter before he gets to base, he doesn’t need to have the ball. It would be a legal block as long as he doesn’t grab the face mask, which is what the baseball cap obviously is.

  • 12grace

It’s not just about the health care mandate.

I would like to ask you and other patriots here to pray with me.

    Dear Lord,
I believe that the decline of America is a direct message from you. We have been a blessed nation as you endorsed and protected us from the onset as we relied solely on you. As we became successful, many of us in this nation turned from you forgetting where our blessings came from- we thought that we alone were the all-powerful. We thought we didn’t have to account to anyone.
We became, corrupt and dirty in your eyes and we didn’t care. And so you allowed our enemies on 9/11 to come on our soil to brutally murder 3,000 of our people. And for a short time, we united but many of us still did not turn away from our wickedness, and darkness grew in America.
And then a man whose main mentor wrote a book dedicated to Lucifer was put into the highest position in our land to rule and we have witnessed Lucifer’s presence in this tyrant’s action from the start of his reign. This tyrant that you have allowed to rule our country has brought corruption, evil, despair, poverty and hatred to our precious, America.
This evil American tyrant claims himself to be a child of G-d yet he disregards G-d’s covenant with Israel as he plots and seeks to plunder the land of Israel. Christians understand the consequences of turning against Israel but most Americans do not speak out against this leader’s transgression.

Evil has overrun our America and we must heed your warning. Please show us the path back to your heart, dear Lord. Let us once again, be like children and totally reliant on you.
We ask you dear Lord to do battle for us and contain our enemies.
Protect and endorse America once again.
Please save us and our country.

      2 Chronicles 7:14
      King James Version (KJV)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

      • 12grace

        Yes, exactly.

  • Don

The constant lies and deceptions from the mainstream media has taken the people to this dire situation. They will keep us there unless the people realize what is actually happening and react according to the best interests of the American people. The mainstream media is a propaganda tool for the socialists and nothing more. You recognize and pay for their actions and exist because you allow them to.

  • Repeal Obamacare by voting for the man who invented it! LOL

The idiot primary voters who nominated Romney should be ashamed of themselves.

    • MiketheMarine

The symmetry is a bit bothersome, isn’t it?

    • 12grace
    • Guest1776rcp

Repeal Obamacare by voting for the man who invented it!

And all the progressives laughed and hedged with sigh of relief.

    • well think of it this way, he created the monster, he now has to kill it. poetic don’t you think?

  • KarlRogue

The Mitties were on all of the right of center blogs this morning after the decision was announced, arguing that this was REALLY GOOD NEWS because now everyone is going to rush to vote for Mitt. BARF!

Talk about priorities. This RNC stuff is more of the same–using the peoples’ disgust at the slow motion socialist train wreck taking place in Washington to beg for money and power.

My prediction–we’ll never get another vote on repeal. The GOPe and the indies whose votes they crave will somehow find a way to accept Romneycare, since the SCOTUS, led by a Republican leading light, has blessed it. Gee, guess it wash’t so bad after all.

  • carmtom13

I would like to know why Kagan did not recuse herself from this vote? She was involved with it while being solitor general. Please let me know if I am right or wrong.

The Justices just woke up the sleeping giant.

    • las1

Well she recused herself for the Arizona decision because she was SG when the case was filed. But make no mistake… she was put on the bench partly because a challenge was anticipated to O-Care… and O wanted a water carrier there should that event occur. Well it has and she did.

  • Cindy09

Next I want to hear that Congress has voted and charged Holder of Contempt.

    The day is not over!!

  • sDee

“so we can provide real reform”

“reform” This is progressive speak. The government over regulated it they could “reform” it, now they want to “reform” their reformation.

the bottom line of the ad should have been “so we can return the greatest healthcare system in the world back to the private sector”

  • brendawatkins

All of us needs to get fired up!! And stay fired up until after the election!

  • c4pfan

Hello! It wasn’t just the Rats that it got to this point! It was the GOP in the Senate that made it possible!

Also, we did our job by putting their butts in office to take over the House and almost the Senate, so now it’s back on us to vote in liars that won’t do what they are promising?

    • Rshill7

Harry Reid has blocked approx. 30 bills…at least. What can the House do about that?

      • Amy

The House can’t do anything, but we the people can keep the pressure up on the unions who pretty much bought the election for Reid… 😉

  • Retired_Coach

Just as I posted on the other thread, doesn’t matter what happens in November. Doesn’t matter if GOP holds 90 Senate seats and 400+ house seats. With the exception of a handful of folks, there is no political courage in DC. A repeal/replace bill will NEVER reach the desk of POTUS.

    • sDee

Far worse than lack of courage. Government healthcare is the ultimate tool of control of a central government. No politician will give it up once they have ultimate power. The elephants are wetting their pants at the chance to fashion their own brand of shackles for us. Just watch them and listen – it is very clear. they want to Repeal and REPLACE!

      • Retired_Coach

Agreed. But it won’t even get close to repeal. We are shackled w/ it. Our country is screwed. Bye Bye Miss American Pie…

    • wodiej

and you know these events will happen how? Are you a psychic? The only way DC will get any political courage is for citizens to demand it. Apparently you and some others aren’t willing to fight for it.

      • Retired_Coach

Allow me a moment please. Do I believe we can truly have a revolution and get the people elected we need in office? I believe there is an outside chance but it’s not very likely we can actually pull this off and this is why: We have to elect too many Olympia Snow’s, etc; pols with an R by their name who represent areas of the country that mired in political ignorance. If the Obama Economy hadn’t taken my rather large bank account, I would send money to every R in every race in the country. Since I no longer have that kind of cash, I will be glad to get on the phone for anyone that is committed to repealing this thing and reducing the size of the federal govt.

With that being said, I believe it’s not impossible to take a ton of seats in the Senate while increasing the # in the House and winning the presidency, but honestly, I don’t trust career politicians who love the power of representing more than they love the liberty of the people they represent. I have not given up. Like my handle says, I am a retired coach and we always play to win even in retirement.

I’m not psychic but I am a student of history and human behavior. I agree, the only way any of these guys/gals get any political courage is that we demand it. I’m just convinced that since Americans have such short attention spans that we will forget in a few years when they are up for re-election. I’m not taking my ball and going home. I’m down for the fight.

  • Sober_Thinking

There’s iron in my spine and righteous anger in my heart. Today the battle has officially started and those bastards cannot be allowed to win. We must increase our efforts and fight this clear and present danger – together. There is no tomorrow if the monster known as Obama is re-elected. There is no silver lining if these despotic Democrats survive another election. There are no second chances after November. Fight the good fight.

Finally my bretheren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.
    Eph. 6: 10-14

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
    Rom. 8:28

Be strong. Stand. Fight this evil and lean on the Lord and rely on HIS strength. Have faith.

    • Retired_Coach

I’m w/ you brother but we are a country ruled by men/women who largely do not fear God, have no real connection to our Lord and only use His name to endear themselves to the electorate. Like most of our country: Christian by default or Christian in Name Only. Our God is an awesome God but he has not only destroyed nations himself, he has allowed many to destroy themselves. I pray that our prayers are answered.

      • Sober_Thinking

No worries… we’ll save this country in spite of the Godless.

I pray the Lord will continue to shed his grace on us.

    • Amy

I’m always a little calmer and less stressed when the other shoe finally drops. It dropped today. My resolve is only strengthened at this point.

We know how the war ends, time to get on with the battles.

      Isaiah 41:10

      • Sober_Thinking

Excellent verse! Check out Rom. 8:28 too.

Be strong and fight the good fight!

  • Amy

I see our sunshine Patriot’s are in full force here. Don’t like being called that? I don’t care. I’m seeing a lot of moaning and bitching by people ready to take their ball and go home and just concede defeat. F that.

The choice is yours. Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.

    • sDee

and you consider Romney’s speech today which of the three?

      • Amy

You can stop trying to pit all of us against each other over Romney and the GOP. We ALL get it.

I don’t care if you don’t like what I have to say. I’m tired of hearing all this ‘Romney’ is Satan and the GOP are in on it. WE GET IT.

My original assertion stands. War sucks and is hard – either be harder or get the hell out of the way.

  • So let me get this straight. We are going to elect Romney, the father of Obamacare, to get rid of Obamacare? We are so screwed.

  • FutureOnePercent

Just wait until people start deciding to pay the tax instead of getting insurance, up until they day they get sick, then go get subsidized insurance for their pre-existing condition.

Lower money coming in and more money going out. How long do you think that business model will work?

If people could buy car insurance after an accident, how long do you think companies like State Farm and Geico could stay in business?

    • wodiej

Exactly. An easy solution would be for new employees to be given a 30 day window to purchase a health insurance policy. If they choose not to, they should have to sign a waiver saying they understand they will not be eligible for any kind of government health care program or subsidizing of their health care costs. Should they need medical services, they will be expected to pay it all out of pocket.

      • FutureOnePercent

The best solution would be to give the same tax breaks to individuals that they give to employers to offer health insurance so people could buy it independent from their job.

This was all based on wage controls from 1941 that employers even started offering health insurance as a way to compensate their workers.

Allow insurance to be sold across state lines, remove the contribution limits on Health Savings Accounts, allow them to rollover.

Then if people choose they can get buy long-term health insurance plans in case anything catastrophic happens to them, and for the routine things like doctors visits, they can pay from their HSA.

Increase competition, stop herding everyone into employer based health insurance through the tax code, and treat health insurance as a REAL insurance, for when something bad happens.

I don’t make a claim to Geico every time I need an oil change, why should my health insurance be any different?

      • Patriot077

I’m not on Medicare so I’m not completely sure about this, but the way I’ve been told that it works is that when you are turning 65 you are required to enroll in Medicare.
Should you fail to do so you are penalized … not just a one time penalty, but a hefty surcharge in the normal premium …

I imagine they could do the same thing to those who decide to go bare until they need the coverage. Best to just get rid of it by pulling it up by the roots.

  • Fore more years, fore more years. Mitt/Taxpayers 2012

It’s a good ad but conservatives must step up to the plate on this, securing the border, reforming entitlement programs and the wasteful spending in DC. They have had plenty of chances and only added to the problem.

House Will Vote on Repeal on July 11
    By Ryan Teague Beckwith
    June 28, 2012 – 4:07 p.m.

    Tom Williams
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor speaks at a press conference in this file photo. To buy this photo, go to:
Roll Call: “House Republicans wasted no time scheduling yet another vote to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care reform law after the Supreme Court’s decision today to uphold its constitutionality. Majority Leader Eric Cantor (Va.) announced this morning that the House would hold the vote July 11.”
AP: “Carrying out the law will be a mad scramble for states, especially Republican-led ones where officials had hoped this day wouldn’t come. And the court added a new complication by giving individual states more leeway to turn down the law’s expansion of Medicaid, expected to provide coverage to about 16 million uninsured people.”
Smart Politics: “Mitt Romney … has been quite clear of his support and respect for Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts who wrote the decision upholding most of the president’s health care plan on Thursday.”

I like how it said the “People v Obamacare” at the end. I had a tense workday now the full impact of Roberts vote is weighing on me.

  • Constance

I love your words, RS. I concur one million percent.

  • ApplePie101

Don’t wait for repeal. Just don’t comply. Record. Report. And then sue.
Know the constitution inside and out. A good place to start is Hillsdale College’s Constitution 101 lecture series. The constitution defines the limits of government power, as allowed by the people of the United States. Once you understand how small that territory actually is, you’re in a better position to deal with government drones who try to step on your rights.
