New Romney ad labels Obama a liar and dishonest, unfit to lead

Romney swings back hard against Obama, calling him a liar and dishonest. And it looks like this ad is made for TV and will probably play in the battleground states. Awesome:

Yeah, I liked it. Prevaricator-In-Chief needs to be “revealed” to the masses.

    • kong1967

We need to repeal Obama and his vacaton loving wife.

  • Philo Beddoe

The lying is just another example that the obamunist uses to divert attention from his record.

He pulled this in Illinois when running for state rep, senator and POTUS. His mindless followers, driven by class envy, fall for this every time.

  • Constance

I hope to see more ads stating the word “Lie” in them. Instead of “mistruths” or “misleading”. Nope – say the word lied. Works much better.

  • Sandra123456

I hope they are doing radio and internet ads as well. Not too many people watch TV anymore.

    • B-Funk

At the end there, it looked like there were buttons. I think it might also be an internet ad. At least, I certainly hope so.

  • That despicable NObama ad lying about Romneys position on abortion is still airing here in MA. I see it when I watch Jeopardy. I wish this ad would run straight after it if that could be arranged. The antidote to the BS.

ZERO is the proper name – He has NOTHING!

  • Did Cicero know Obama?

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

    – Marcus Tullius Cicero

Putting these on TV is a huge step in the right direction. Many of the dumbmasses won’t get up off the couch to view the ads on their computers (via the Internet), so many of those ads may never be seen/heard.

I expect these ads to become sharper, more prominant, more frequent, more effective and remain true throughout the months preceding the election in November (Aug-Oct). Get them on battleground or national TV at the very least. I’m sick of seeing Obama’s lying TV ads in such great number with no rebuttal or counter points to expose his lies.

I think LIAR Obama’s has supported GM to outsource jobs after the bailout and his top advisor’s Buffett and Immelt are top outsourcer. Today, can you buy USA made underwear or USA made light bulbs. NO. Buffett owns Fruit of the Loom and Immelt runs GE.
Obama should know by now that water does not run up a rope. LIAR LIAR!

  • Patriot077

I Love the ending: another reason America has Lost Confidence in Barack Obama.
Even if some resist the proven lies message, it will be very hard to ignore the fact that the country has indeed lost confidence in him.

I think that line will be like the snippets of a song that keep repeating in your head.

    Great Ad! All true!

  • las1

    It’s not about you Mitt!

What about Obama’s inviting of the Muslim Brotherhood into the white house! What about his leaking security information about Israel and the Flame and Stuxnet virus affecting Iran’s nuclear development, or Israel’s potential with Azerbaidjan’s Baku attack bases being leaked, or Saudi double agents. What about the Ayers, the Wrights, the LA Times Khalidi video… and that’s just for starters. What about his participation in the Cooper Union Socialist Conferences in the early eighties… the list is endless.

    A Gingrich you ain’t Mitt!

Get off yourself and onto the damage Obama is doing to the very fabric of America. Call Obama the enemy… do it now… not three months from now.

    • WordsFailMe

las1– that is really clear and strong. Hope someone on Romney’s staff is reading this.

      • It would be a great place for them to read too. I hope they are as well.

  • sjmom

As long as the GOP speaks the truth about Obama then he will be shown for who he is, but if they get into the mud with the Dems and Obama they will lose. This ad is good because it acknowledges facts.

  • Crash_Davis

Hold on a second while I wipe my memory of Romney smearing Santorum and Gingrich a few months ago….deleting….deleting….

    ……OK, done.

Yeah, great ad, Mitt! Go get’em!

    • Best not to pick old scabs I feel as those others aren’t as white as the driven snow either.

      • Crash_Davis

It is important, even as we put all of efforts into electing Romney, to remember that all of these men are fallible. None of them can be trusted to “save” us. (See: Roberts, John). That task remains with the people. Therefore, I advocate a touch of skepticism to accompany our cheerleading.

        • Now I understand your point (d’oh!) and I agree with it! All must have their feet held to the fire to ensure they do the right thing!

      • las1

That may be true, but Romney is what the GOP Rinos got us… and we are left holding the bag defending every cough and hiccup he makes now. And that would be great if he got a spine suddenly (like he did about Chavez),,, but such moments of clear headedness are too few and far between from Romney. It’s like you just want to go up and repeatedly slap the guy in the back of the head with a Newsweek magazine and tell him to get with the program. Is Newsweek even published anymore?

        • True, he’s not my “pick” either (I wanted and supported Santorum for the record), but he is our man now. As for Newsweek… Apart from doctor visits, I’ve never even seen that rag much lest bought it, so I’ve no idea if it’s still in print. I do know they think we’re all Socialists now or some such nonsense… Best kept for the bottom of the birdcage I’m sure you’ll agree! 🙂

          • las1

See what you and I have to work with. It ain’t much. I’ve always felt Santorum ditched too soon imho.

I have to laugh, but Obama recently said that “change is hard”… and that he’s gone gray in the process… or something. Howzabout this Obama you moron! All of America has gone gray enduring to see the end of your befouling of America with your hope and change “transformation”.

            • Amen! ABO! Help us ABO… You’re my only hope! (Star Wars flashbacks!) 🙂

  • WordsFailMe

A good start for Romney but it was more like tapping at the toes of a faded, black-plastic Jesus when you ought to be using a sledge hammer. Smash him with his own lies, don’t tantalize him. Unfortunately, in this ad, the facts do not speak for themselves. They demand your voice and your fist. Wield them like a hammer.Stop poking the snake and go for the head! You’re going to be accused of racism no matter what you say so why not tell the truth?

Obama’s half-assed claim to be a “protected species” of American snake has nothing to do with the fact that he’s a moron and a liar. His stupidity, political deafness, hate for this country matched only by his love for himself and his complete lack of understanding of how the American engine works, has nothing to do with race. Smash him like a worm.

  • About time…

  • 12grace

    Great ad.

There is an incredible article this month in “Whisleblower” magazine that talks about the lies of obama. A must-read for all Americans.

  • FutureOnePercent

This should be the tip of the iceberg… call into question Obama’s honesty, then blast him for his past!

  • B-Funk

About time Romney starts swinging. I’m tired of Mittens. Our country’s on the verge of death. We need a lion!

Did anyone see the clip done by Wolf on CNN ripping Oh-UH-Oh?

Sorry if this is a re-post, but it is basically an AD for Romney, can and ship it !

When you have CNN doing a better job defending you, your advisors are worthless.

I don’t know how MSNBC is getting away with it, but they keep ramping up their pure destructive attacks on Mitt for O-BLAME-O.

No hiding, no trick wording, no guilt, just 100 percent smear mode 24/7.

I hear they are re-branding, I have some ideas for name for them.

LETS have contest and give them some hints ???!!!

RS posters give some good leagal ones.

Most I can not post here.

MSNBC horrors lately beyond anything I thought posible.

Honestly the attacks are free to Oh-UH-oh campaign, and are designed to OPENLY put Mitt (and team) back on their heels defending Romney’s record, and it really looks like Mitt’s plan it to not respond, except a few ads in battlground states.

Did I say this guy was NOT a good candidate to back, oh well,
we are stuck, LETS GO !!!!

To me, saving his money until September, may sink him in advance?
I hear people don’t like saturation ads right before election, but hey, he swamped NEWT, so his planning may work, but he certainly will not be trusted by MANY American by then. We are just beginning to sorta like him “some”.

I liked his speech at NAACP, and bring a group of 20 black conservatives to cheer for you, WAS a stroke of genious, and gave him some confidence to say “OBAMCARE”.

    MSNBC Show’s narritives are to:

1.) Ask major lib Progressive Hacks leading smearing questions about Bain and accounts and O-BLAME-O’s questionable attack ads, actually stating they are not true by fact- check organizations (really? up front admissions? but O uses them anyway and MSNBC pushes them VERY HARD 24/7, UUUGGGGG).

Why have a 20 minutes discussion with hacks about PROVEN ADMITTED UN-TRUE ACCUSATIONS VERIFIED by MULTIPLE trusted SOURCES unless you are in the pocket of WH and now are a vessel of insidious propaganda?

2.) Then harping on the details, true or not, and asking if Romney “Team” is pushing back well enough.

3.) Decalaring Ads are working, polls are showing it, and the fact Mitt’s team is trying to fight it every day, with no success in a fully obvious leading questions and “dropping” validity of truthfulness.

4.) Sucess declared for O-BLAME-O team keeping the conversation on Romney’s record, not the bad “jobs” reports and economy…they are openly admitting victory here, and then taking full credit for doing it at the moment.

5.) Then taking victory laps for setting the daily agenda for Romney to responds to, and then on talkng points for Oh-uh-Oh.

So if Romney surrogates responds to leading biased question, they are off message and Uh-Oh-Oh is winning the battle.

If they move off responses and keep on points Mitts team want to discuss, you are not tough enough to take on the re-election team of OH-No-NO.

Kind of like if any stat goes shows bad about the economy, it is Bush’s/re-pubes fault for recession. IF things perk up and it gets better, it is O-BLAME-O’s masterful moves to rescue the American people and the middle class.

NOW you know why Romney has to (again off message) accuse the President of lying and being untrustworthy. and this is still JULY !!!

MSNBC is proud of insiting this response and reasoning (on their own during same shows) that Mitt’s team should not over react and smear the President ??????

Thanks MSNBC, no wonder you are going away. I predicted it a long time ago you could not survive, but it looks like you are going out with a BANG as a tool of O-BLAME-O.

    • Nukeman60

Actually, MSNBC can’t go out with a bang. It’s turning out to be more of a whimper. My suggestion to you is – Don’t watch MSNBC. No one else does. Their ratings are now being held up by their off-air employees being forced to watch the on-air shows.

You will get all the MSNBC you can stomach by spending time here at TRS. He does us all a favor by sifting through the smelly piles, so that we don’t have to see any more than necessary.

Romney responds to the MSNBC lies much the same way we do. They aren’t worth the time and energy to debunk, as they 1) aren’t seen by anybody, and 2) aren’t believed by anybody.

PS: I’d drop CNN too, if I were you. Unless, of course, you are into comedies. Then have at it. Watching CNN is much like watching Family Feud. “SHOW ME – STUPIDITY.”
