Newt Gingrich continues to confound people with the curious mixture of brutal honesty and demeaning obsequious Trump worship. In this week’s addition, he admits that his greatest fear for Trump is that he just throws in the towel when the leftists start attacking his presidency.

This is really odd to hear considering how so many Trump cult members tend to believe that the president-elect is all-powerful and will never acquiesce. Remember all those “but he fights!!” jokes? For some reason, Newt is afraid that Trump will give in when the going gets tough – maybe he knows something about Trump that the other sycophants aren’t willing to admit.
