SO a lot of people are praising the lieutenant governor of Georgia for saying he would rescind tax cuts for Delta Airlines because of their recent decision to cave to liberal pressure and get rid of their discount program for NRA members.
I will kill any tax legislation that benefits @Delta unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with @NRA. Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back.

But is that really a conservative thing to do?
Eh.. not really, right?
This is a bad idea. Delta and the NRA are both private organizations; the state should not be taking sides on the basis of elected officials’ opinions about their private arrangements. This is viewpoint discrimination. https://t.co/iyjhcWQ4SD

We are against the abusive use of government power even if it’s used to further our political agenda. Because it’s just wrong. Now I disagree with Delta making that decision to cut itself off from the NRA, but they have that right. Just as you have the right to fly their planes or not.
I am not a fan of Delta's take, but this is even more insane. Government shouldn't dictate how a business runs its business or what business decisions it makes, nor promise/withhold legislation as a result of such decisions. https://t.co/NdY62lV2u9

How about this – give companies tax cuts because you think it’s the right thing to do for your constituents, and not because they do everything you want them to do. And if those tax cuts were crony capitalism anyway, as Erick Erickson says, then get rid of them.
That is more conservative than lashing out with the power of the government to punish our enemies.
